We are about an hour away from the first day of the inaugural UK Championship, live from Blackpool, England. 16 competitors are aiming to become the first ever WWE UK Champion and tonight sees the tournament kick off.

My guess is that we will see all of the first round matches tonight, followed by the remaining 7 matches tomorrow night, including the final. Personally, I'm rooting for ICW's Wolfgang, who is the only representative from my native country. That said, Devlin and Seven look like they are going to be real competitors.

So, with an hour to go. What are you expecting from the tournament and who goes all the way?

Personally, I'm rooting for ICW's Wolfgang, who is the only representative from my native country.

Pretty much this. However Roy Johnson is a alumni of this very forum so he certainly has my backing as well as many others.

Would be surprised if the final wasn't Trent Seven versus Pete Dunne and I sort of expect the winner of this tourney in the Rumble.

If Andrews and Dunne don't meet in the final four, I suggest that we riot. Their match at PWG's BOLA last year was spectacular, and they have a chance to turn in a match as good as anything that we saw during the CWC, no exaggeration.

On the other side I'm expecting Seven and Wolfgang to win their openers and meet in the second round, with the winner making the final from that side of the bracket. While I assume that whichever of those two happens to be that guy, his road there will go through a final four opponent of whoever wins the first round pairing of Burch and Devlin.

As I've said from the moment his name was thrown into the mix late for this tourney, Andrews should win the entire thing, he is a superior talent to the rest of the field. Dunne would be my second choice, with Wolfgang(or Seven if he survives out of that pod) being the next best option.

Pulling for Madcap, though excited to see what Seven, Dunne, & Andrews can do as well. Excited for Nigel's WWE debut on commentary too.

Can't say I know of these guys. I know of Mustache Mountain, Dunne and Andrews but that's it.

Still, I'm pretty hyped for this. This venue is awesome by the way.

That was a super fun opener. I had never seen Dyer work a full match prior to this, I came away fairly impressed by his upside.

That was... interesting?

I guess they've built a heel for the tournament, and done so quickly. That's not all bad.
