WWE TLS (Tables, Ladders and Shit) LD

I can come up with better Monday Night Raw and Smackdown episodes than this PPV. A PPV built to be this epic unification match, which typically needs a build to get some legs under it.

I mean... who the hell knows what's going to happen after this debacle.

You put Punk over the Shield, the most over group in the company, and have the most over guy in the company in Daniel Bryan lose to the Wyatt Family.

...how does any of this make sense?

Punk/Shield was done to further establish dissent within the group that WWE has been hinting at for the past month and a half while giving Punk some legs to stand on for what will probably be his inevitable insertion back into the title picture against Orton.

Bryan/Wyatts was to establish the Wyatts as a dominant heel force with a major victory over a popular face, either to make them the top heels once the Authority is finally beaten or to make Daniel Bryan's inevitable triumph against them so much sweeter.

Because not everything is supposed to make sense, especially to a fan who over-analyzes shit on the Internet.

Who said anything about over-analyzing? I didn't break anything down piece by piece. I just said the PPV was bad, which it was. And none of what the WWE conjured up made sense in regards to furthering anything.

Overall the best WWE PPV since SummerSlam. End to Orton/Cena with the turnbuckle was innovative, the tag match was one of the best WWE tag team matches in years for me, wanted Real Americans to win the titles though. Both handicap matches delivered, The Wyatt Family finally look like the force they were on NXT and before Roman Reigns' obvious upcoming face turn I hope we get Wyatt's/Shield just once.

Crazy talk.

And you do that by having him go over the most dominant faction in the company? Punk should be in the title picture no matter the result of that match, because he's CM Punk and he's over with the fans. Him beating the Shield doesn't make him anymore dangerous.

Bryan/Wyatts was to establish the Wyatts as a dominant heel force with a major victory over a popular face, either to make them the top heels once the Authority is finally beaten or to make Daniel Bryan's inevitable triumph against them so much sweeter.

So Bryan couldn't get a roll-up pin and then a beat down afterward? Once again, doesn't make sense. It'd be easier if Bryan kept beating them, but they kept coming at him and coming at him until he reaches his breaking point, which will make the final batter culminate in a stipulation where if Bryan beats all three of them, then he's free to do whatever, but if he loses, he has to join the family.

I dunno... I just don't have the most over guy in the company pinned clean under any circumstance that doesn't lead to a productive story.

For Punk it seems like you're missing the point. The most dominant faction in the company should have beaten him. The fact that they didn't adds to the impending implosion of the team. They were out of sync and got beat. Logically they should all point fingers at each other which causes an even bigger rift between them and furthers the storyline that they are having problems.

As far as Bryan you have the roles reversed. Since he's the face he's the one that needs to be losing but won't go away. He's the underdog so when he finally does win it will seem like a big deal. Him constantly beating the heels won't do anything to help anyone. Him losing and coming back over and over makes his eventual win have a bigger impact.

I don't know if you ever watched ECW but if you did think of it in terms of Tommy Dreamer and Raven. Dreamer for a long period of time could never beat Raven. When he finally did it was a huge moment in the company.

Above all else, they've gone with WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Far better than unified.

So does Orton carry around two straps for a while? They just made a new WWE belt, hate to make a new one already.

I think he carries the two belts and they'll see whether the one title will hold weight with the fans.

Personally, I think they'll split the belt back up before Wrestlemania.
