This LD Is Finding Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Under It's Tree This Year On 12/19!

I never said I expected Barrett to destroy Cena...Just a simple Punk attacking Cena would have sufficed ;)

When was Cena Barrett's bitch? Last time I checked he was making Wade his bitch at all turns even when he was "fired."

If this is the end of Nexus, it is definitely a complete failure.

Did you start watching after Survivor Series? Or did you miss Hell in a Cell to SS?

That was an outstanding PPV from start to finish. A+ for sure. Sure, people will nitpick it to death. Why was Cena/Barrett the main event? Why did the DCR/Big Show skit happen so late in the evening? Why was there no shocking end to the PPV? To these naysayers, I say give your head a shake. That was a quality PPV from top to bottom. If you were not supremely entertained by this PPV, your are incapable of being satisfied and have unrealistic, unattainable expectations.

I agree it was a good ppv...I just feel that the Cena/Barrett match should not have been placed above either of the title matches.

Nexus made RAW interesting for a year before running its course. It introduced the WWE world to lots of new guys with potential to be major forces in the midcard and eventually the main event. The feud is now over as it should be, and Nexus will probably go their separate ways.

Not a failure at all. Were they entertaining? Yes. Was the feud awesome? Yes. Did it end the right way? Yes.

As for that match being last - it was WWE's biggest feud on their biggest brand, featuring their biggest star. Of course it was going to main event.

Fantastic PPV. An A, maybe even an A+.

After reading some of your earlier posts, I cannot believe I am saying this, but I actually somewhat agree with you. Personally, I think that one of the two major titles should pretty much always be the final match of the evening. Unless there is something dramatic to upstage one of the major titles (such as Undertaker versus HBK, a returning superstar, a significant debut, etc.,), the main event of the evening should always be the WWE title or the WHC championship.

But as I said, that's nitpicking. Trust me, I am not complaining about any aspect of this PPV whatsoever. That was a classic example of WWE showing the fans of professional wrestling the way PPV is done. Others could learn from their example (but probably won't).

Barrett was buried in a literal sense, but not a BOOKING sense.

He main evented a show over both heavyweight championships against the biggest star in wrestling, in which he got his heat in, and the formula wasn't one-sided.

I fully expect Punk's revenge to take place tomorrow night in Raw. Wouldn't surprise me to see Punk take over Nexus. That would be amazing.

Maaaaaaan! I'm back! I have no voice! I give the show a fucking S! I was on my feet from start to finish! I screamed like a bitch when JoMo got the contract! Random people were high fiving me the entire night! Did y'all see me at all?

You are a stupid stupid person and you do not get this sport at all.

guess I also should have stated: If your not going to have anything BIG happen- then WHY make the the main event???

the ending would have been totally acceptable if the match was before both of the title matches.

I just dont get why it was ME, thats all

Other than it being the top star in the company vs. the leader of the biggest heel stable since Evolution and being the end of a feud at the end of a show at the end of the year at the end of the decade with the biggest spot of the night, I can't think of a reason for it to be the last match either.

I think that was PPV of the year. Great matches all around. I give it a A- Cuz:

Just totally dont understand why Cena V Barrett was ME over both title matches. When nothing happend in the end. Just a AA on 6 chairs.

Woulda been an A+ on my grading scale had Cena/Barrett been before both title matches

WELL DONE WWE!

Its simple.. A conclusion of a six month feud > a shitty small feud + two mexicans or Miz vs Orton with a three week build up? Cena and Barret was clearly the right choice.

I'd say it could be considered one of the best PPVs of the year if Final Battle didn't just happen just days ago which had a much better main event... even though both shows had main events that shouldn't have headlined.

Best match of the night was Morrison/Sheamus. I saw the future of Ladder matches in this very match. The future of these matches are big men using their brutality and the ladders to their advantage up until now it's mostly been high flyers showcasing their skills. I like this added dimension to these matches seeing as I hate spotfests.

I may or may not give my thoughts on the rest of the show later on, but I thought I'd at least praise my favorite match of the night.

Good PPV all round, even the divas match wasn't awful. Cena and Nexus have had their blowoff and the matches were top notch.

Also, did anybody else hear Barrett telling Cena to "Finish it" before the insane FU onto the chairs?

The implication that Cena vs. Barrett had no business closing is silly. Title or not, it's the top feud in the WWE and has been since the summer. Fin.

For those of you asking how those chairs could be effective with the chair cart on top of Barrett:

Do you expect WWE to kill him? Do you realize how much weight that would be crashing down on top of him? Not to mention the possibility that one of the chair legs could impale him.

Use your head, people.
