Actually he retired a very wealthy man, having saved the vast majority of his money. One of the few wrestlers to do very well financially from that era.

As for the expenses, I still do not accept that pyro a few nights a year is bringing the company down. Now having all this unnecessary content (again, 205 Live/movie studios/every other stupid thing they do) might have something to do with it, but a little window dressing is hardly a horrible idea. But hey, at least we get to repeat the same matches we saw earlier int he week because Summerslam is now longer than a Star Wars marathon.

And yes, I'm complaining FAR more than I rationally should and I know this makes no logical sense.
