WWE RAW LD 28th April 2014 - Jackmaning Jaws, Bad News, War (Games) and More!

How can something have diminishing utility when it made no sense in the first place? Are you saying The Shield members accurately sold that beat down from a group as talented as Evolution?

It wasn't a huge comeback, keeping in mind that they were mostly fresh when it started. They've come back from far worse beatings before from the hands of top level guys. Look at their TLC match in 2012 if nothing else.

It ended evenly,tbh.

Since the Shield interrupted HHH's match at the RAW Post-Mania, Evolution has gotten the upper hand, even delivering a brutal beatdown on the Shield a couple of weeks ago. I guess the booking done tonight was so they could end on even footing, leaving the possible result at ER in some doubt.

(Although based on the report of Batista leaving, I can't see Evolution winning a fair 3 on 3 match)

So if Bad News Barrett was in diapers when RVD last won the Intercontinental Title, wouldn't that make him 8 years old?

I fell asleep during the commercial break in the BNB/RVD match. Is the closing segment worth looking up on YouTube?

I was being somewhat obnoxious but the point remains. Like Cena, The Shield guys have taken some serious punishment and look to come back like nothing happened. It is a WWE staple.

I thought the comeback was fine. Rollins was tossed around a little bit but was left alone for quite a while recuperate.

It's an old WWE trope like GSB said. General Cena fatigue is why Cena gets knocked for things that aren't unique to him. I've always wondered why he never added theatrics to his comeback. If he did something akin to Hogan's hulk up, Taker's sit up, or even Bryan's teeth gritting, fist shaking thing, more people would probably be more forgiving of it.

You may be on to some thing. Bryan is laying it on thick lately and it seems to be working. He is almost hulking up.

Raw was decent. Flair, however, should be forced to blow into one of those alcohol measuring gimmicks before he hits the arena. That was fucking shameful. The man is a walking clusterfuck, time and time again.
