WWE RAW LD 1/30/2012 - It's Written In His Face

Because he just attacked Punk and is gonna create beef and get his 1 on 1 shot rather than a chamber oppurtunity?

So how else to turn up the heat than taking Punk's title at the Chamber? Anyone else can get a title match if Punk wins at the Chamber.

I LOVED that maatch, but I'm sorry man gonna have to disagree. I'd rate it ***3/4 just because it was too short to be a 4 star match imo and the ending (although not necessarily bad) ruined it for me. Bryan can deliver 4+ star matches day in and night out but he's been working with guys like big Show and Mark henry...enough said. CM Punk-Daniel Bryan for the title at Wrestlemania 29? I fucking hope so.

That was like, 15 minutes solid with the commercial in the middle, and they showed the only important part of the commercial. Plenty long to go ****.

Kofi fans must be happy that he won't be buried now that Bourne is gone.

Not that this was a real possibility anyway.

And to think it was actually a entertaining match as well.

Matches tonight have been crazy good. One of the best maches Bryan's ever had in the WWE, an excellent contest from Orton/Ziggler, Kofi vs Miz perfectly entertaining fare, and Brodus Clay...seriously, this is good stuff.

Sure they can, but this isn't real sports. Whoever WWE wants to have the title shot will get it and it looks like they are heading towards Jericho. He doesn't need the title to get heat. I don't think using Punk's rematch clause at WM is such a good storyline.

It seems like Miz has fallen so far I hope he gets drafted to smackdown in the next draft.

I hope this happens too. I was a big fan of Miz when he was up until WrestleMania this past year. But now? Definitely not. His charisma is undeniable and his mic skills are great, but the man just needs to get his in-ring work improved. WrestleMania was the perfect stage for him to show that and he didn't show up (although some of that has to do with the very poor booking). As much as it hurts to say it, this guy is just as good as a wrestler as the majority of FCW. He's only had two "great" matches in his career IMO and both of his opponents carried him the entire match (vs Bryan Night of Champions 2010 and his Falls Count Anywhere match with John Morrison on Raw)

This has been a good Raw so far. Good quality matches, good promos, Y2J finally broke out as a full-fledged heel, Brodus was ... funky, I guess. I'm really enjoying this one.

Agree 100%. The Road to Wrestlemania has been great most years.

It may be scripted, but their is no rational way the Raw GM would go. "I know you lost in the Chamber Jericho, but since you have been attacking CM Punk during his matches, I will give you a title shot, it's only fair that people who break the rules get rewarded.

I wonder if Kofi will ever even get a chance to do anything. He clearly has charisma and can talk given his Orton feud but they never give him anything of substance.
He's exactly like John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin before him except with better mic skills

Not sure whether those botches were because The Miz sucks in the ring or because The Miz is a bad wrestler.

Nice for Kofi to get a credible win there and TiP is acting more and more like a 'outta nowhere' finisher.

Also, Truth was awesome on commentary.

If we counted commercial time between matches on TV shows, then we would have a shitload of 4+ star matches on Raw and SmackDown. If it had ended clean (which I knew wasn't going to happen because neither can look weak as champion), then it would have been ****. I respect your opinion though. Regardless, this will be one of the best TV matches of the year and possibly rank among top 10-15 matches of the year in general.

If Johnny Ace is still GM by then, it's possible. It doesn't have to happen like that either -- Punk can challenge Jericho after all the beatdowns or something like that.
