Revenge of the Fallen

Last week, John Cena was about to win the WWE championship tournament semi-final against The Miz, but Wade Barrett interfered and distracted Cena. Miz used this distraction to pull-out a cheap and out-of-nowhere victory. An already angered Cena was then beaten to the pulp by CM Punk and a steel chair. This week, for the second week in a row, Cena comes out to open the show and this time, he will demand an explanation from Barrett as well as Punk.

YES OR NO

After Triple H lost to John Morrison in the WWE championship tournament semi-final last week, Chris Jericho attacked him from behind in the locker room area and got his revenge from 2 weeks ago. He then challenged Triple H to a match at Backlash but since Triple H was down and out, Jericho has decided to wait till this week to know Triple H's answer. Will it be yes or will Jericho be disappointed?

Pick Your Poison

The Intercontinental championship rivalry just got intensified after Del Rio attacked Henning after the battle royal 2 weeks ago and then Henning replied by winning a match for his team against Del Rio's last week. This week, both of them have to participate in "Pick Your Poison" matches and the reward is, both of them can select each other's opponent!

Confirmed matches

DH Smith vs Zack Ryder

Live from Cow Palace, San Francisco, California

Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross and Michael Cole welcome us to RAW as the camera pans around the Cow Palace.

**The Time Is Up**

John Cena’s music hits and he comes out to open the show for the second week in a row to the usual mixed reactions. He gets in the ring and asks for mic.

Cena: Cut the music. Tonight, unlike last week, I’m getting straight to the point. And the point is, why did Wade Barrett and CM Punk cost me a title shot at Backlash. For those who didn’t see it, take a look.

*A video airs showing the end of the Cena-Miz match and the post-match attack on Cena by Punk*

Cena: Yeah. And I don’t know why they did it. And I’m here to find out! So, I want Wade Barrett and CM Punk out here right now and I mean RIGHT NOW!!

*Cena waits for a while*

Cena: Guys, if you don’t want to come out here, I’ll come there and find you!

*Cena is about to leave the ring but…*

**I’ve Had Enough**

…is interrupted by Wade Barrett. He walks to the ring with a smirk on his face with most of the people booing him. He gets in the ring and coolly asks for a mic. He steps in front of Cena.

Barrett: I don’t know why John Cena, I like to see you waiting and I LOVE to see you frustrated. But, but, mind you that is not the reason I committed that atrocious sin according to you. I cost you the WWE championship spot because of two reasons. One, take a look.

*A video airs showing Cena slapping Barrett in the back last week*

Barrett: You know Cena, I’m way too egoistical to let that go. And two, you think that you are THE guy. You can do anything you want to anybody you wish to and nobody is going to complaint or nobody is going to stand up. And don’t look at me like that, because you know you do it!

*The younger audience keep booing Barrett*

Barrett: I was watching SmackDown! this past week, and I watched Sheamus’s promo. And it struck me, that you are a bully just like The Undertaker, only, you’re worse! This whole WWE’s Be A Star anti-bullying campaign, it’s a joke. Because the company’s lead representative himself is the biggest bully on planet earth. All these little kiddies learn to be bullies just because their sole hero is one!

*More boos come in from the crowd*

Barrett: And all of this was tolerable until you started bullying me! You bullied the me, you bullied the Nexus and you bullied the Nexus against me and you bullied the management against the Nexus. And that was it. That was enough to fuel the fire inside me to stand up to you and tell you that you are not getting away with it. You will have to pay a heavy price for your sins John Cena. A very heavy price…

**This Fire Burns**

Wade Barrett is interrupted by CM Punk’s music. He comes out to cheers as the Straight-Edge Superstar gets in the ring slowly and asks for a mic. He steps between Barrett and Cena and then moves towards Barrett.

Punk: Wade Barrett, you just mentioned that Cena is the company’s, the WWE’s lead representative. Do you actually think that or just like these stupid people you’re hypnotized by this goof?

*The children boo Punk for calling Cena a goof*

Punk: Yeah. Boo me. That’s all you can do when this guy is standing here. But Cena, I’m not here to pass my time or waste yours. I am here to tell you that I am sorry for what I did last week! Yes, I really am. I’m sorry that I stopped beating you when you were out. I should’ve continued it until you stopped breathing!

*Punk garners more and more heat from the kids*

Punk: And I have the perfect reason to! John Cena, I am sick and tired of people calling you the face of the WWE when every single being in this universe knows that I am better than you! They know that I can beat you anytime, any place and still they don’t accept me as the new “face” of the new WWE. And all this is because of you! You have blinded them with you’re so-called “never say die attitude” and 3 stupid laws of life! And I am sick of all of this! Had you not been the cheesy little hero they wanted you to be, had you not given them everything they wanted, they would have embraced me as their hero! They would have embraced me as their SAVIOUR!

*Punk gets cheers from the male audience*

Punk: And I have every right to change the way these people think! I am going to prove to them and anyone and everyone who thinks John Cena is better than me and that includes you Cena. And therefore, I will do everything possible to get you to believe that I am better than you and I will do everything in my hand to get these people to believe that I will lead them to the path of morality unlike you who have led them to the path of lies and deceit. AND I MEAN IT!

*The males start a “CM Punk!” chant*

Barrett: Punk, you make good points, but let me tell you that I am going to get John Cena before anyone else and finish him off so that no one cares about him anymore!

Punk: Wade Barrett, I can understand your hatred towards this rainbow guy but everyone single GUY over 18 years of age, or should I say 16 years of age hates this man. And since I am better than all of them, I am going to get John Cena first!

*The crowd cheer Punk as he and Barrett start arguing about who faces John Cena first*

Cena: Parrot, Junk, since the two of you have irritated me to the point of explosion, I would like to knock some sense into the two of you as soon as possible. And I am willing to face the two of you together, RIGHT NOW!

*The crowd cheer as Cena takes off his t-shirt and throws it into the crowd*

**All Grown Up**

Stephanie McMahon’s music hits and all 3 men stop in their tracks. She stands on the stage and asks for a mic.

Stephanie: As much as I dislike to say this, I cannot let you three battle it out right now. And since I hate to make such a decision, and since the three of you have taken your rivalry to a new level, I will let you fight, but, two weeks later. And that means, that it will be John Cena vs CM Punk vs Wade Barrett in a triple threat match at Backlash!

*The crowd explode at this announcement*

Stephanie: And as far tonight goes, it will be CM Punk and Wade Barrett vs John Cena and Big Show, in the main-event!

*The crowd continue to cheer as the 3 men’s expressions are shown and we go to a commercial*

Had I been in his place, I would’ve done the same thing. And yeah, it did take my momentum a step downward. I’ve lost for two straight weeks and I don’t know how I’ll get back from it. Or maybe I do! *The crowd continue to boo Jericho*

Jericho: You see I don’t like to have long chats and that’s why I joined Twitter and not Facebook. I talk only what is required and I say it the best. Because I AM THE BEST! So let’s get to the point shall we. Now, two weeks ago, I predicted and I told Triple H in his face that he is what he is because he married Stephanie McMahon. I told him that he doesn’t deserve what he’s getting and he would be a lower mid-carder if he weren’t a McMahon!

*Jericho gets more and more boos from the crowd*

Jericho: And Triple H said that he is what he is because what he has done in the past and what he’s doing here in the present. And I know that you hypocrites might have believed him. But I didn’t! I still don’t. Last week, he proved me right. He lost, to, to John Morrison! Yuck! Take a look.

*More and more boos come in from the crowd*

Jericho: And since Triple H was lying cold on the cold floor, I decided to wait till tonight for my answer. Now that’s patience. And since, your guy, Triple H has made me wait for a week, his answer better be yes. Or else, I’ll make sure he doesn’t compete ever again! So Triple H, get your stinking ass down here and give me my answer!

**The Game**

*A video airs showing Chris Jericho’s quarter-final loss against The Miz*

Hunter: Now that’s mediocrity!

*The crowd cheer for the creative taunt*

Hunter: You lost in the first round to that jerk Miz. I at least made it to the semis. Now Chris, you’ve known me way too long for you to even think that I might not want to compete at Backlash. You see Chris, I do not back down from any challenge especially one from a cock in a suit like you!

*Hunter is getting more and more cheers*

Hunter: So Chris, it’s evident now isn’t it, you’re ON! And Chris, you and you’re stupid talk have made me so angry, so frustrated and so irritated that I’ve got only two things on my mind. One, to break your face and two, to whoop your ass!

*The crowd cheer for the hardcore sentence*

Hunter: And mark my words Chris, you will be sorry for even challenging me to a match at Backlash. Because mind you, you won’t leave on your freaking legs! Chris, you’ll walk into Backlash an arrogant, stupid wrestler and you’ll leave a loser! And one more thing before I go punk-head. You say I am what I am because I am a McMahon, huh? Ask anyone in the back, ask anyone around here, and they’ll tell you that I am what I am because what I have done for this business. And if you have a doubt about it, it will get cleared at Backlash! So Chris, see you next week. And yeah, from now on, it’s time to play the game, AND I LOVE TO PLAY!

Barrett: I know that Punk.

Punk: What you don’t know Barrett, is that Cena has done more than being a bully and training these people like dogs.

*The crowd boo Punk for calling them dogs*

Punk: Yeah. And it is very very atrocious. He destroyed what you created and what I nurtured. He destroyed our time. 6 months of yours, and 3 of mine. He destroyed yellow and black Barrett. He destroyed Nexus. And I know that’s fueling your fire as much as it is for me.

Barrett: Yeah. John Cena did destroy my creation, my stable. He did destroy the Nexus but he wasn’t alone. I’m giving you a week to figure out who was the other man.

You must have heard Alberto say numerous times on the show that he is going to make me tap out at Backlash but that’s not happening. There’s no chance in hell he can beat me let alone make me tap out to his stupid submission finisher. Because it’s my destiny to win the Intercontinental championship and not his. *The crowd cheer for John Morrison*

Stephanie: Now, it’s a pleasure to tell you that the WWE championship match at Backlash, will indeed be the main-event of the first pay-per-view under the new WWE management. So without further ado, please welcome, The Miz.

**AWESOME!**

*John Morrison signs the contract first and passes it on The Miz who signs the contract too*

Stephanie: Ladies and gentlemen, the WWE championship match at Backlash, is now official!

*The crowd cheer for the announcement*

Miz: Wait a minute. Before we all can leave, I want to share some of my experiences with this man, my opponent for Backlash, John Morrison. When I first came into the WWE, I wasn’t respected by anyone. Not the management, not the superstars in the back, not you people. And all I was doing, was looking a goof while hosting a stupid diva search. I was looked upon as a reality-TV reject.

*The crowd boo The Miz*

Miz: I was on the verge of a release, until I got drafted to ECW where my in-ring talent was acknowledged. And then, to my surprise, I was paired with this man in sunglasses. And I admit, it was a career-changing turn.

*The crowd cheer for the statement*

Miz: After teaming with John Morrison, I got title-shot after title-shot after title-shot. Be it the ECW championship or the WWE or World Tag Team championship. I got my well-deserved fame, money and respect. I was acknowledged as the future of this company and I was grateful to Morrison until I realized something. I realized that he made me famous so that he could pull me down like a crab, step on my back and move on to better things leaving me down and out.

*More and more boos come in for The Miz*

Miz: He made me into a star, just so that he could watch me go down and be the same-old not-liked-by anyone guy. He made me into a star so that he could see me fall flat on my face and never be able to do this again. But to my advantage, and his disadvantage, I realized this sooner than he expected me too. I dumped before he could dump me and I went on to better things! I won multiple tag-team championships, I won the U.S title, Money In The Bank and I become the most must-see WWE champion in the history of this company!

*The temperature in the arena is rising continuously*

Miz: While he, he started getting into trouble backstage because of his girl-friend Melina and became a stupid class-less jobber.

Morrison: Hold it, hold it right there Miz. You’ve been saying too much and I’ve been listening a lot. Now, it’s time for me to speak. Miz, I made you famous just because I wanted to! I made you into a star because I could! And Miz, if it wasn’t for me, you would be liking Hulk Hogan’s ass right now!

*The crowd cheer for the first-time in a good 5-10 minutes*

Morrison: And that means, you wouldn’t even have been in the WWE right now. And you might have won those numerous tag-team championships, U.S titles, M.I.T.B and even in the WWE championship, but I am still better than you! Because I have won hearts all over the world. And I have earned my respect of the other superstars because of what I have done in the ring. Miz, I am better than you because I am a man and you’re an ass-kissing coward!

*The crowd keep cheering Morrison*

Miz: Morrison, you said way too much in too little time. And that has made me angry. And you know what I do when I get angry, I break people’s faces.

*Miz drops the mic*

Miz charges at Morrison but Morrison ducks and pushes him into the ropes followed by a reverse DDT. He waits for him to get up and then clotheslines him out of the ring. Miz tumbles outside. He gets up and screams why he should be WWE champion. Morrison hits him with a 360. He gets up and gets in the ring. He climbs on the turnbuckle and poses which brings out huge cheers from the crowd. RETURNS... 4 WEEKS AWAY!!

**Voices**

Randy Orton’s music hits and out comes the WWE’s Apex Predator to a huge amount of cheers. He slowly and steadily walks over to the ring and gets in. He asks for a mic.

Orton: Hmm. A Cody Rhodes’ returns advertisement, huh? Is Teddy Long out of his mind? An ad for Cody Rhodes is completely stupid. He should promote me, his top star, the next World Heavyweight champion, Randy Orton.

*The crowd cheers for their favorite*

Orton: But, never mind. I have no complaints against Teddy Long because I know that he doesn’t value my presence on this show. Because he doesn’t know that I can do what nobody has done or nobody has dared to do. But, come Backlash, he too will get well acquainted of the things I can and I will do here on SmackDown!

*The crowd continues to cheer for Orton*

Orton: Because from now on, the blue show is MY show! And since I am “banned” from competing for two whole weeks, this being the second, I have decided to make an impact in some other way. And that is, to break someone’s skull. So I dare anybody, and I mean anybody, to step foot in this ring with me right here, right now!

*The crowd and Orton wait in anticipation for somebody to show up*

**Metallingus**

Edge’s music hits after some time and out comes the 11-time World champion in a jacket with a black t-shirt and jeans with the glares on. He gets in the ring and takes a mic and stays a good distance away from Orton who is fuming and ready to attack Edge.

Edge: Calm down boy. Calm down. I am here to do no harm physically. But I can’t ensure the same verbally and mentally.

*The crowd boos Edge*

Edge: Orton, you actually think you can win the World Heavyweight championship at Backlash? You sure can crack some good jokes boy. I mean, seriously, how did that thought ever come to your mind when you know that one of your four opponents is me, Edge. The creator of TLC and also the master of it.

Orton: Edge, you sure maybe the creator and master of TLC but don’t you dare forget the fact that you’ve already lost one TLC match against John Cena at Unforgiven 2006 in your own hometown of Toronto.

*The crowd cheers for the fact*

Orton: And that number, is going to go up to 2 when I beat you and the three others and go on to become the brand-new World Heavyweight champion.

**Just Close Your Eyes**

Christian’s music hits and out comes another Canadian to cheers. He gets in the ring and asks for a mic.

Christian: Edge, Orton, now I know, out of the 5 of us, the 2 of you are the most successful individuals. But that doesn’t mean that the 3 of us have no chance to win. Huh, I even say we’ve got the best chance to win. While the 2 of you struggle to keep your reputations, it’s going to be one of the 3 of us who’s going to walk out with the gold. But let’s be more specific. I AM going to walk out with the World Heavyweight title around my waist!

*The crowd cheers for Christian’s confidence*

Christian: And Edge, do not forget the fact that I was also as instrumental as you in creating TLC and I’ve got the same amount of experience as you have in the match. In fact, I haven’t even lost a TLC match here in the WWE!

*The crowd cheers for Edge’s insult*

Edge: Look Christian, you might think that I will struggle to keep my reputation, and I will, but my first aim will be to climb that ladder, retrieve the World title and become a 12-time World champion. And none of you are even close!

**Booyaka**

Rey Mysterio’s music hits and out comes the love of the kiddies. He slaps hands with all the kids and gets in the ring. He too asks for a mic.

Rey: Well, uh, Christian’s right. It’s either me or him, that’s going to become the World champion. But Christian’s wrong too. Because he specified that he was going to win. But no Christian, that ain’t happening. Nobody’s going to win the world championship except for me. Edge, you’re a 12-time champion, Orton, you’re a multiple-time champion as well, Christian, you are the co-creator of TLC but me, I am the heart and soul of SmackDown! I will be the heart and soul of Backlash, and when I win the World championship, I will be the heart and soul of this entire world!

*The kids cheer for their hero*

Rey: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I will honor you when I defend my World championship. I will wear the gold with pride and represent all of you with the most humbleness and humanity. I will bring the prestige to the title of SmackDown! and I will treat it as my own creation!

*The kids continue to cheer for the Master of the 619*

**Man on Fire**

Kane’s music hits and he comes out. He gets in the ring but doesn’t say anything. He just keeps staring at his opponents.

**MACMILLITANT**

Teddy Long’s music hits and out comes the General Manager of SmackDown! He stands on the stage and asks for mic.

Teddy: Playas, you all need to calm down. Because I’ve set up a huge main-event for tonight. It will be Edge and Kane vs Christian and Rey Mysterio with Randy Orton as the special guest referee!!

*The crowd cheer for the huge announcement as the faces of all men in the ring are shown and we go to a commercial*

Back from the break and the announcers promote the WWE Tag Team championship match.

*Rey is adjusting his gloves as Christian enters the room*

Christian: Ready to go?

Rey: Oh of course. Tonight, we beat Edge and Kane and show them why either of us is walking away with the gold at Backlash.

Christian: You’re right Rey. Or perhaps not so much. Tonight, I beat Edge and Kane and show them why I am going to become World Heavyweight champion come Backlash!

*Randy Orton enters the scene which brings out more cheers from the crowd*

Orton: Yeah. Keep arguing about who’s walking champion. But when the time comes, that is at Backlash, it is me who is going to step up, climb the ladder and retrieve the title. And nobody is going to stop me from achieving my goal because that championship, it’s mine!

*Orton storms out of the locker and we go to Todd Grisham*

Todd: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, Sheamus.

*The crowd boo heavily for Sheamus*

Todd: Sheamus, are you ready for The Undertaker at Backlash?

Sheamus: Todd, I sure am. You see if I weren’t, I wouldn’t have challenged him to a match would I? I am ready every bit to face Undertaker at Backlash and I am certainly ready to beat him.

*The crowd continue to boo Sheamus*

Sheamus: The Undertaker, he might be the Deadman, The Phenom and what not, but he’s no match for me, The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus.

Taker slowly and steadily gets in the ring with a mic in hand.

Taker: Sheamus. Congratulations. One, you beat Barreta. Two, you got my attention last week.

*The crowd boo the praising of Sheamus*

Taker: But Sheamus, last week, you made the two biggest mistakes of your life. First, you said things you shouldn’t have said. And by doing that, you’ve made me angry! Sheamus, let me make myself clear. You see, after 20 years after my debut, the reason why I still am considered top priority, the reason why I am considered the best, is because I AM the best! And none of the others are even close.

*The crowd cheer for The Phenom*

Taker: I main-event WrestleMania after WrestleMania after WrestleMania, PPV after PPV after PPV is because I can. I face the best in the back because I am of that caliber. And Sheamus, last week you said that I was just a mere reflection of my past self, and that maybe true, because my past self, just like my current, is the best! Sheamus, I haven’t degraded from what I was 20 years ago. The only change you’re seeing, the only change this entire world is seeing is that now, I have improved a hell lot!

*The crowd continue to cheer for the supernatural*

Taker: And all this, I am going to prove with my actions when I face you at Backlash. And the second mistake you made last week, was the very fact that you even challenged me to a match at Backlash. Sheamus, you may consider yourself a warrior, and oh you are one. I was impressed the very second I saw you wrestle in the ring. I was impressed at what you could do to people. But, there are many others who deserved your spot more than you. And you know it very well Sheamus, that you are what you are because of one man.

*The crowd cheer in anticipation*

Taker: A man who was perhaps Vince McMahon’s successor. A man who is a friend of legendary Hall of Famers, a man who is respected and obeyed in the back. But I choose not to disclose his name for his, yours and my well being.

*The crowd boo for that*

Taker: But you still are a good competitor. But you’re not so good that you can beat me. You see there are many who have come before you. Legends, Hall Of Famers. People like Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H and Shawn Michaels all challenged me. And every single one was a worthy competitor, but everyone failed! And just like them, you too will fail.

*Sheamus is boiling from inside as the crowd keep cheering*

Taker: Mark my words Sheamus. At Backlash, you will fall to The Phenom. You will die in front of the millions who will be watching. Sheamus, at Backlash, you and your soul will Rest…In…Peace!

*The crowd cheers Taker as he drops the mic and does his throat-slit taunt and leaves. Sheamus stands frustrated in the ring as we go to a commercial*

Orton pulls Edge off and spits the rules in his face. Edge goes after Christian but Christian looks for a clothesline but Edge ducks and hits an impeller DDT. Cover.

Christian kicks out!
Edge can’t believe it! He argues with Orton but Orton won’t move. Edge turns his attention back to Christian. He goes after him but Christian counters with a schoolboy pin.

Edge kicks out but just!
Both men get up. Christian goes for a clothesline but Edge ducks and hits a clothesline of his own. He waits for him to get up and hits another clothesline. He picks him up and whips him followed by a boot.

**End of Show**

Jam's Review
Hey man, decided to give ya a review. This is the first time I'm going to give you a review but I have following your thread and I can honestly say that it's quite different...in a good way.

So the show starts off with Randy Orton, interesting promo here as you portray him as a tweener here, am I right? Orton has and will always be better as a heel, well in my opinion. You then have all the other competitors for the WHC match come out. I actually sorta liked Rey's promo here for some reason. And with Kane coming out last, not saying anything, that's smart. And eh, not too high on the main event. I never like special guest referee matches for some reason. But I understand that you had to include all 5 competitors for the main event somehow. So it was good but not great.

I really like the Broskis and Hart Dynasty as the major contenders to the title. However, irl, Tyson Kidd has been pretty impressive, but he's jobbing -____- But anyway, the Broskis score another singles win over the Hart Dynasty. Hmm, I'm still wondering who would win so that's a good thing, to keep the unpredictability there.

Your US title match is pretty interesting to me as you have D-Bryan who I guess you want to be the American Hero vs. the anti-USA wrestler, Jinder Mahal. Now, this was done with Muhammad Hassan and look where that got him. But I think this could work and I'm very interested to see how you play this out.

The women's championship battle royal should be interesting. Looks like you're going to give it to a diva who can actually wrestle as opposed to going the WWE-route of giving it to someone like Kelly Kelly who can still wrestle but not better than Mickie James or Kharma. I respect that but for me, I like it when an underdog wins and improves each and everytime, it's just fun to watch.

Taker's promo was kinda long. Don't think he'd do that in real life. It was dragged out for a really really long while. You could've just done like the lights turning off and having something displayed on the TitanTron but having the real 'Taker there was good to see. Sheamus vs. 'Taker, this is the one I'm most looking forward to.

Hmm, the ending for the main event was pretty interesting. Looks like were going to have Randy Orton as your World Heavyweight Champion. There's really nothing wrong with that, but I would've liked to see Christian or Rey coming out with the win. But who knows right? Your PPV is looking pretty good and I'm at a loss as to who will win some of your matches. Again, that's a good thing, the unpredictability.

Overall, good show man. Some things could've been better but they worked. Backlash will sure be an interesting PPV. And I'm interested to see if new feuds come out of Backlash. So keep up the good work man, cheers!

Dirt Sheet Returns

Yes, you read that right. The Slammy-award winning WWE.com and ECW exclusive Dirt Sheet is back for a night and this time it is on RAW. With former co-host The Miz hosting the show, we're in for some Awesomeness. But it doesn't end there, with John Morrison on RAW, we'll wonder what he has to say.

A Puzzle From Britain

The British former bare-knuckle fighter, the winds of change himself, Wade Barrett last week laid a puzzle in front of CM Punk. Who is as responsible as John Cena for the Nexus disbanding? Barrett, this week, will ask Punk for an answer and Punk surely, will have one. But with Cena lurking around, we highly doubt if this going to go out well.

Foes Turn Partners?

Arch-rivals, the self-proclaimed "Best in the world at what he does" Chris Jericho and The Game Triple H will team-up against the sons of legendary Hall of Famer, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, Jimmy and Jey, The Uso Brothers. With Jericho sure to run his mouth can Triple H co-exist with him or will The Usos resgister the biggest win of their careers? We'll have to wait and watch.

Confirmed Matches

Triple H and Chris Jericho vs The Usos

Live from Marine Midland Arena, Buffalo, New York

Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole and Jim Ross welcome us to the longest running weekly episodic television show in history as the camera pans around the Marine Midland Arena and then in the ring where a red carpet is laid and two chairs with a table separating them are kept with a “Dirt Sheet” logo suspended on two chains.

**AWESOME!**

The Miz’s music hits and out comes the Awesome One to a number of boos in a jet black suit and a pink shirt inside. He gets in the ring with Michael Cole bragging about his successes at the commentary table. Miz poses in the ring and asks for a mic.

Miz: Ladies and gentlemen, take a bow for The Miz.

*The crowd boos him*

Miz: Last week, John Morrison attacked me which was completely needless and uncalled for. For those of who missed it last week, I have a video to show you what exactly happened.

*A video airs showing John Morrison’s assault on The Miz during the contract signing last week*

Miz: But nonetheless, I am not here to complain or whine about that. So, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Slammy Award-winning talk show Dirt Sheet that I made famous back in ECW and on WWE.com. And just like that time, tonight’s show is going to be AWESOME!

*The crowd cheer for Dirt Sheet*

Miz: Now, let’s talk about something. Let’s talk about somebody. Let’s talk about the Marty Janetty of the Dirt Sheet Duo, John Morrison. People, when I dumped him back in 2008, all of you, all of the superstars in the back, the men sitting on this announce table, everybody, said I couldn’t help myself. You all said that I did a mistake by attacking John Morrison because without him, I would be future endeavored. You all said that John Morrison would go on to become famous!

*The kiddies cheer for JoMo*

Miz: You people said that Morrison was going to become a main-event player, a multiple-time world champion, a hero, the next big thing. Some people even called him the next Heart Break Kid. But, as time has proved, and as I have proved time and time again, I and not him am the more successful one! I am the one who has won multiple championships, I have won Money In The Bank. I am the new “Guy” of the company. I am the most-must see WWE champion in the history of this company!

*The crowd keep booing The Miz*

Miz: While John Morrison, all he got after being dumped is two mediocre Intercontinental championship reigns, a few classless buddies, a beating every time he stepped in this ring and a girlfriend Melina. Seriously, she’s mad to hang out with that jerk.

*The crowd keeps booing Miz*

Miz: All Morrison has done after losing me as a tag-team partner and best friend, is lose again and again and again. And I have got another video to showcase his career from early 2008 till date. Take a look.

*Another video airs showing Morrison’s low moments of the above mentioned period. The video ends with Miz hitting Morrison with a Skull Crushing Finale and holding up the WWE championship*

Miz: Hmm. For those of you who didn’t capture that last moments in your camera, do not worry. Because that is the exact same thing that is going to happen at Backlash. I will beat Morrison to a pulp, break his legs and hit him with the Skull Crushing Finale before pinning him 1-2-3 to become the new WWE champion. And all he can do about it, is hold his head and watch in pain as I walk away with the most prized possession in sports and entertainment while he is proved a loser! And you know why that’s going to happen? Because I’m The Miz and I…

**Ain’t No Make Believe**

Miz gets interrupted as John Morrison makes his way out and the crowd cheers for the first time in 10 minutes. He gets in the ring and climbs on the turnbuckle and poses before asking for a mic.

Morrison: Miz, I am as instrumental in making the Dirt Sheet famous as you. In fact more than you. And I have every right to co-host this show with you. And pal, believe me, I am going to do it better than you. Just like I am going to treat the WWE championship better than you did when I win it at Backlash by beating you!

*The crowd cheer for Morrison’s confidence*

Morrison: Miz, ever since last week, you’ve been saying too much for me to handle. It’s going way over the line. Miz, you’re right. I have been a failure since 2008. But don’t worry. I am going to change that come Sunday at Backlash. You see I am done with you and all of the Miz-fits calling me Marty Janetty because I am not! And I am going to prove it at Backlash when I pin you 1-2-3. I am going to prove that I was indeed the better half of the team and I am the Shawn Michaels.

*The crowd cheer for the last statement*

Morrison: At Backlash, I am going to prove that I am a MAN and you are in fact an ass-kissing coward. Miz I said it last week and I am saying it again. You do not deserve any of the name and fame you’re getting. Because you’ve ass-kissed your way up to the top. While I’ve worked my ass out to get here. You know, you may have had my number for the past 3 years, but Miz, nothing remains the same. And that too will change when I beat you and silence my critics. Because I’m John Morrison and I am the next WWE champion!

Miz: Really? Really? Morrison? Really? You believe you can win the WWE championship? Really? Well there’s nothing wrong in dreaming big. But there’s nothing wrong in shattering one’s dreams. And I am going to do just that when I kick you, when I punch you, when I beat you. I am going to bring you back to the real world where you are a failure and I am AWESOME!

Morrison: You sure can be a joker, can’t you? Because I am the one who’s living in the real world Miz. Because I can take my failures, kick them out of the park and start a new journey where I get to become WWE champion. And the best part is, I get to KICK YOUR ASS!

*Morrison gets in Miz’s face but…*

**All Grown Up**

…is interrupted by Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and her music. She comes out with a mic and stands on the stage.

Stephanie: Gentlemen, congratulations. It sure was a hell of a Dirt Sheet. But I can see where this is going. And I know you want to get a piece of each other tonight but why not do it in an official way when you are ready to wrestle, mentally and costume-wise. So tonight, it’s going to be The Miz teaming up with Alberto Del Rio against John Morrison and Joe Henning.

*The crowd cheer for the blockbuster announcement as we go to a commercial*

Back from the break and Chris Jericho’s music hits. He comes out to a large number of boos. He does his signature strut to the ring and gets in. He poses as the crowd starts a “You Suck!” chant. He asks for a mic.

Jericho: Nobody’s different. All of you scoundrels cheering for Triple H and booing me just because I’m the better man. A man with more class and more integrity. A man with more talent and certainly more desire to win.

*The crowd keeps booing Jericho*

Jericho: Hmm. Last week, Triple H accepted my challenge to a match at Backlash. And it was made official later in the night on WWE.com and now, I get to face Triple H, I get to punish him, I get to beat him officially. And that is the most exciting and pleasurable thing in the world. If you don’t trust me now, you’ll certainly do after Backlash.

*The boos keep on increasing*

Jericho: You see, Triple H, just like each and everyone of you, he is a liar. He is a cheat. He is the most selfish person I have ever seen in my life. He married Stephanie McMahon not because he loved her, because he loved her dad’s money. He wanted to get into the McMahon family to be the sole owner of Vince McMahon’s property, business, money and he wanted to own the WWE. And he came very close.

*The crowd can’t bear the insult of Triple H*

Jericho: And I can’t stand a man who can commit atrocious sins just to get the dollars. Or the millions of dollars in Triple H’s case. I can’t stand a liar, a cheater, a stealer. I can’t…

*The crowd interrupt Jericho with a loud boo for indirectly insulting the late-great Eddie Guerrero*

Jericho: That’s why I couldn’t bear with Eddie Guerrero, and that’s why I am not going to bear with Triple H. I couldn’t kick Eddie’s ass because he died far earlier than he should’ve. But I am certainly going to whoop Triple H’s ass come Backlash. And you people will see that I AM indeed better than Triple H and I deserve your RESPECT!

*Jericho throws the mic down and waits for Triple H to come out*

**The Game**

Winners: The Usos

The Usos exit the ring in celebration while Jericho is celebrating for a loss on the outside. Hunter looks at him in disgust and frustration. He foes out and grabs Jericho from behind and throws him into the barricade. He picks him up and throws him into the barricade again. He picks him up and whips him into the steps. He asks for a mic.

Hunter: Jericho, maybe you’re right. Maybe I’m selfish. No, I AM selfish. And that is going to drive me to a victory because I can’t bare losses. Jericho, you are at a disadvantage at Backlash because what you did moments ago was enough for me to get irritated. But you’ve done far more than that. You’ve insulted my wife and you’ve insulted me. And Jericho, mark my words, you won’t leave San Antonio on your own legs!

*The crowd cheer for Hunter*

Hunter: At Backlash, you will pay for your sins when I step in that ring with you, beat you down to a pulp, whoop your candy ass and beat you and humiliate you so that you can’t show your face to anyone on this planet. Jericho, I’ve said this last week and I’m saying it again. If you don’t believe that I am better than you, so be it! I don’t care what you think! Because I am going to prove the fact at Backlash. One last thing before I go, IT’S TIME TO PLAY THE GAME AND I LOVE TO PLAY… and if you’re not down with that, I’ve got two words for you.

*Hunter holds the mic high above his head and the people chant “SUCK IT!”*

*Hunter drops the mic and leaves as Jericho watches him go holding his head in pain as we go to a commercial*

**I’ve Had Enough**

Back from the break and Wade Barrett comes out to a large number of boos with a t-shirt and tights with a mic in hand. He taunts the crowd during his walk to the ring. He gets in and poses. He tries to speak but the crowd keeps booing him.

Barrett: We all know why we’ve gathered here, don’t we? No, it’s not about The Miz and John Morrison crying and whining over the WWE championship like a pair of girls. Nor is it about Chris Jericho and Triple H barking like bitches.

*The crowd boo for calling Triple H a bitch*

Barrett: It is about the most sophisticated and logical rivalry on RAW or in the whole WWE for that matter. It is about me, Punk and Cena. But let’s be more specific. It’s about me, the top guy here on RAW, the best wrestler from England, the fastest rising superstar in the WWE, soon-to-be WWE champion, Wade Barrett.

*The crowd boo the arrogance of the former Bare-knuckle fighter*

Barrett: Now last week, while I was preparing for my match in my locker room, CM Punk came in and said that I had to be very angry and pissed off at John Cena for he was the reason the Nexus is no more. But I told him, that Cena wasn’t the sole reason for that. There was somebody else. I told CM Punk to think about it till tonight and give me an answer. And I hope he has an answer because even 5 year kid could answer that. And if Punk doesn’t have an answer, well then, he doesn’t deserve my attention!

*The older crowd boo Barrett*

**This Fire Burns**

CM Punk’s music hits and he comes out to mixed reactions with the older crowd cheering him and the kids and ladies booing him. He walks to the ring with a smile on his face. He climbs on the turnbuckle and poses. He gets down and asks for a mic.

Punk: Barrett, you don’t talk about deserving attention because you certainly don’t deserve mine and theirs.

*The crowd cheer for that statement*

Punk: But anyways, I have the answer to your so-called puzzle. It’s the guy who always played second fiddle to you and to me in the Nexus, the runner-up of NXT Season 1, future endeavored, David Otunga.

Barrett: Punk, I knew you were stupid, but I didn’t know you were dumb. Because that is not the answer. The obvious person who is as instrumental as John Cena for the disruption of Nexus is you! CM Punk! And believe me, I have reason to back-up my answer.

*The crowd keep booing Barrett*

Barrett: Ever since I made my debut on a Viewer’s Choice RAW, with my fellow NXT season 1 rookies, now known as The Nexus, we created havoc. We were termed as the best group in the history of the WWE. And rightfully so because we were better than Evolution, we were better than The Four Horsemen and we were certainly better than Straightedge Society.

*Half the crowd cheer for the indirect insult to Punk*

Barrett: We were termed as the best thing to happen to RAW. We won championships, we beat superstars, and I went this close, this close, to winning the WWE championship from Randy Orton in late 2010. And everything of that changed every since you kicked me out of the group and literally so. You took over the Nexus and all they became was a joke! And that finally led to the disbanding of the group…

Punk: …whoa, whoa-whoa! Whoa! Don’t give me that shit because I don’t buy it. You know you’re right that you made a solid impact on Cena, on RAW and on the entire WWE and you were successful. But the reason I kicked you out of the group and became leader, is because you were pathetic and I saw something in them.

*The crowd cheers the insult of Barrett*

Punk: I saw in them a fire to be successful, a fire to reach the top and that reminded me of a young CM Punk! And unlike you, I didn’t use them to my advantage. I didn’t hide behind them for security. Instead, I took them under my wing and tried to make them fly but it ain’t my mistake that they fell flat on their faces. And I didn’t care to do anything about it because I had other important things to tend to, and by that I mean my career!

**The Time Is Now**

Cena’s music hits and he comes out to a huge pop. He salutes the crowd and runs in the ring. He asks for a mic and gets in the face of Punk and Barrett one-by-one. The crowd starts a “Let’s go Cena!” chant. Another “Cena sucks!” chant starts and the chants begin to duel as Cena smiles.

Cena: Barrett, you talked about crying, whining and bitching. But that’s the exact same thing you two are doing right now. And why do you have to worry about something that’s gone with the wind. You see Barrett, I’m the one who destroyed Nexus, not anybody else. Because the only thing you two are good at, is making crap!

*The crowd cheers for Cena*

Cena: Anyways, let’s forget about the Nexus. Let’s concentrate at the show-stealer of Backlash, John Cena vs CM Punk vs Wade Barrett. The only triple-threat match at Backlash. And the only winner of that match will be ME! Because I’m going to put my heart, my soul and my body on the line. I’m going to give it my 100 percent and that’s going to be the difference maker come Backlash. Because the two of you, you ain’t got minds, forget about guts!

*The crowd keeps cheering for Cena*

Barrett: Hey. Hey. You maybe the poster-boy of this company but that doesn’t mean that you’re going to win everything. You see I’m the best here on RAW and I’m the fastest rising superstar, and my power, and my tactics are going to come handy when I beat you two.

Punk: Poster-boy? Cena? Are you serious? You, best in the world? No chance in hell! You know I’m the best in the world and I’m the one who’s going to be victorious at Backlash.

Cena: You know what guys, I’m done hearing you talk. It’s time to act!

*Cena takes of his hat and throws it in the crowd and does the same with his t-shirt and asks his opponents to come on*

**All Grown Up**

Stephanie McMahon comes out and stands on the stage. She asks for a mic.

Stephanie: Hey, John. Better save that energy for Backlash. And as much as you want to act, you won’t be in action tonight. But you’ll sure be in the middle of it. Because tonight, it’s going to be CM Punk vs Wade Barrett with you as the special guest referee.

*The crowd explode for the announcement as Stephanie leaves*

Cena: Well, good luck.

*Cena exits the ring with a smile on his face as we go to a commercial*

**End of show**

If it's cool with you, I'm gonna give you a review on the last RAW you posted.

Here We Go!

I gotta say the Miz/Morrison promo was pretty well done. I would've expected Morrison to get a little more personal and really stick it to the Miz. Miz owned Morrison on the mic and all he could do was the same babyface speech. But I am excited for their upcoming match for the title at Backlash.

Pretty solid opening match between Ryder and Kidd. The win for Hart Foundation increases the buildup for what should be a great match for the Tag Titles.

Good Jericho promo, but it coulda been better. It was good, but we coulda left out that bit about Eddie. But Jericho pretty sounded the way he always does. Good to see.

The Usos over HHH & Jericho!!! WOW!! Did NOT see that one coming at all dude. Good job with that one. I just hope you actually do something with them down the line. I did like Jericho leaving HHH out to dry. Heelish thing to do there of course. I know he can't wait to get a piece of Jericho!

Woop, spoke to soon. HHH got his hands on Jericho and put the hurt on him. I like verbal beat down too. But I would've ended it after the whole "You won't leave with your own legs!" bit. Everything after that sounded like Rock, Undertaker, and HHH rolled into one. Just a thought my man.

Interesting back and forth between Punk and Barrett. But Punk owned Barrett on the mic pretty much and made him look stupid lol.

What does Cena want now?

Cena's usual blah blah blah I see. Thank you Punk for pwning him AND Barrett.

Looking forward to tonight's Main Event between Punk and Barrett with Cena calling the shots.

Good match between McIntyre and Kingston. Match of the night so far. I would love to see Kofi maybe challenge for the IC Title after Backlash??

Great Del Rio Promo. Short, simple and pretty much what'd he say. I must say I am surprised about the Del Rio/Hennig feud though. Their match should be a classic at Backlash.

15 Divas Battle Royal for a New Women's Champion? Oh Yeah, I can't wait for this one.

Great Win for Trish & Michelle here. The thing I like about Divas Matches is that they're sometimes unpredictable. I'm looking for a wild card type Diva to come out of the Battle Royal, or maybe a heel turn for one of these Divas?

Backlash Card is looking great by the way!

Great Win for Morrison & Hennig here. They get some much needed momentum for Backlash. But Miz has something to say about that! Miz attacks Morrison from behind and reminds every one that HE is the man, not Morrison. Good buildup. Increases their anticipated title match.

Cena's promo was better this time around. Commercial then, it's Main Event Time!

Already loving the conflict between Punk and Cena in this match. Punk and Barrett are keeping it elementary. Good Main Event Match here. Cena counted faster after Punk got in his face? Well, Cena did say he would call it fair, but...yeah. Looks like Barrett finally pushed Cena over the edge and the ref has to act here! Punk with the GTS and Cena HAS to count!

An AA for CM Punk! Saw that coming. Cena stands tall sticking it to Punk AND Barrett.

Overall, it was a solid show. Nothing too over the top or special and that's cool. Your show doesn't have to be over the top every week. The promos need a tad bit tweaking. The build you have for Backlash is solid and it's looking like it's gonna be one hell of a show! Keep it up!

Matt Striker, Booker T and Josh Matthews welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown! as the camera pans around the arena.

**Voices**

Randy Orton’s music hits and he comes out to open the show for the second week in a row as the crowd goes nuts. Orton looks angry as he slowly walks to the ring in his full wrestling gear without even a t-shirt on. He gets in the ring and asks for a mic.

Orton: Umm, three weeks ago, when Teddy Long announced me as one of the five men to compete for the World Heavyweight championship at Backlash, I was happy. But that happiness was short-lived when Cody Rhodes, without a bit of prior thinking slapped me across the face backstage.

*The crowd boos Cody Rhodes*

Orton: And that, pissed me off enough for me to cost him his qualification match and kick him in the skull. But, what Teddy Long did after that, was biased booking. He banned me from competing for two whole weeks just because I tried to knock some sense into that good-for-nothing loudmouth Cody Rhodes.

*The crowd starts a “Teddy Sucks!” chant*

Orton: And then, the worst thing to happen was last week. When Teddy Long put me in a match. And I wasn’t wrestling, I was officiating. And that I don’t like to do. I hate referees and he made me one. That was what I call “crossing the line”. And I don’t like people who cross lines with me, Randy Orton. And since I cannot give Teddy Long a piece of my mind directly, I will have to do it via one of his employees.

*The crowd cheers for Orton*

Orton: So I dare anybody, anybody to get in this ring right here, right now!

*The crowd cheer in anticipation but nobody comes out for a long long time and Orton gets frustrated*

**Metallingus**

Finally Edge’s music hits and he comes out in a leather jacket with a black t-shirt inside, sky-blue jeans and the glares. He poses on the ramp with the crowd booing him profusely. He gets in the ring and asks for a mic as Orton gets ready to squash him up.

Edge: Easy. Easy dog. Sit down. I am not here to give you a piece of my mind through an assault dude. Calm down.

*The crowd keeps booing him*

Edge: Randy Orton, do you even think whatever you said right now might have intimidated anyone? Forget being intimidated, nobody even cared. And nobody has cared about you ever since you step foot in this ring. Because for your entire career, you have been mediocre.

*More and more boos come in from the crowd*

Edge: I mean, all you’ve achieved, is a few mediocre world championship reigns. For your entire career, you’ve been nothing more than a coward who hides behind people. First it was Triple H, then your father, then me and now you’re hiding behind yourself. You are hiding your true selfish and classless self behind this oh-so-hot Randy Orton that these people love to see. And all you people are falling prey to this sly fox.

*The crowd keeps booing him*

Edge: Orton, you’ve always been a guy who lets his actions do the talking. And knowing you for the most of your career I know what’s the reason for that. You feel insecure about your position here. You think you can do all what you want and nobody’s going to stand up to it? Let me tell you, Teddy Long just started that tradition, at Backlash I will continue it and make it a god-damn success.

*Edge drops the mic and decides to leave but turns around and sucker punches Orton*

**MACMILLITANT**

Teddy Long comes out to a mixed reaction. He stands on the stage and asks for a mic.

Teddy: Hold it there playas. Now, I know you want to get a piece of each other as fast as you can and you can’t wait till Backlash, but I don’t permit you two fighting right now. So, tonight’s main-event will be, Randy Orton vs Edge in a No Holds Barred match!

Todd: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, Rey Mysterio!

*The crowd cheer for the Master of the 619*

Todd: Rey, give us all a good reason as to why you think you will win the World Heavyweight championship at Backlash?

Rey: One good reason? I have many. You see guys like Edge and Randy Orton might be bigger stars, they might have won more championships but I am still better than them. Because I have won the respect from all of these people and my fellow wrestlers. I put the same amount of passion and energy in ever match. Be it the opener of SmackDown! or the main-event of a PPV.

*The crowd continues to cheer*

Rey: And nobody else does that. The second reason, Todd, is that I have to prove myself to Theodore Long and anybody who has a doubt on my abilities. You see, I’ve had two World title runs in the past, but people said that Eddie’s influence made me go all the way. And hearing it everywhere, I started believing the same.

*The crowd boos for what, you’ll have to figure out*

Rey: That was until I realized ,that I had what it takes to win the World Heavyweight championship without anyone’s influence and help. And I want to prove it to everyone else. And I am going to do it at Backlash. The fuel inside my heart to win the World Heavyweight championship has grown. And it will keep burning till I win the championship and I’m going to do it at Backlash. At Backlash, the World title comes to 619!

*The crowd cheers as Rey walks off and we go to commercial*

Todd: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, Christian.

*The crowd cheer heavily for Christian*

Todd: Christian, I am going to ask you the same question I asked Rey Mysterio. Give me a reason why you think you will win the World Heavyweight championship at Backlash.

Christian: Why will I win at Backlash? That’s simple. Because I have been waiting for 13 years. Ever since I was a child, ever since I started watching WWE, I dreamt of becoming World Heavyweight champion. I dreamt of becoming another Hulk Hogan, another Bret Hart, another Shawn Michaels.

*The crowd cheers for the legends*

Christian: And that dream was going to become reality. At least I thought that way. I got a call from Jim Ross saying me and my best friend Edge were hired by Vince McMahon to compete here in the WWE. That was half the dream. But the other half, I didn’t achieve. I have been waiting for 13 years to get the World Heavyweight championship, the thing I cherish the most.

*The crowd cheers for the honest Christian*

Christian: And I don’t blame it on lack of opportunities, I got them, but I just couldn’t capitalize. But this time, I won’t let that happen. I’ve got an opportunity of a lifetime and I’m not going to waste it! I will prove to Teddy Long that I am indeed his most worthy superstar. Unlike for the past 13 years, I won’t let the WWE Universe down. I won’t let my Peeps down. After Backlash, they will be proud of being Peeps, and I will be proud of myself! Todd: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, General Manager of SmackDown!, Mr. Theodore Long.

*A mixed reaction comes out from the crowd*

Todd: Mr. Long, what do you have to say about Randy Orton accusing you of favoritism?

Teddy: Well Todd, I don’t care what Randy Orton has to say. His opinion, doesn’t matter on this show. Mine does. And my opinion says that if Randy Orton crosses the line with what he has to say, then well, all I can do is fire him from the show. Because what he did to Cody Rhodes 3 weeks ago, was uncalled for. And if he’s not ready to take the consequences, he better leave my show!

*The crowd boos Teddy as he walks off*

We go to another area where Orton is getting ready for the match. The camera fades away as we go to a commercial.

Sheamus: How did that feel fella?

*The crowd boos Sheamus*

Sheamus: Last week, you said that you’ve beaten the best in the business. Guys like Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and Triple H and no doubt you have. But, you compared me to those people. You compared me to the rest saying just like the rest, I will fall prey to you.

*The crowd cheers for what Taker said last week*

Sheamus: But let me make it clear, I am not like the rest. I am not Shawn Michaels nor am I Triple H. But I am certainly better than each and every legend and veteran there is. I am the first-ever Irish born WWE champion. I beat John Cena to win those two championships. I am a former United States champion. I put Triple H out of action for nearly an entire year. And at Backlash, I am going to add another accomplishment to that list, beating you!

*The crowd continues to boo Sheamus*

Sheamus: Because the management believes so even though it’s not a big deal. Undertaker, let me tell you a story. There was a king in the Irish legacy who started winning since a very young age. Probably even teen age. He conquered nearly every state in Ireland. People followed him religiously. They thought he was God. As the years went by, he started getting old and worn-out and people still believed he was the master and nobody could beat him. But, along came a young, ambitious youth who challenged the old king and beat him to a pulp. He won every state thereafter and he became the new leader. And that is exactly what is going to happen with you and me.

*More and more boos come in from the crowd*

Sheamus: Undertaker, I am going to beat you, bruise you and hurt you so bad, you will never think of stepping foot in this ring ever again. And to all you people, I vow that at Backlash, I will beat this old shit and prove to all of you and to the WWE management, that I am better than The Undertaker and he can be beaten. And one more thing, after Backlash, I will rule SmackDown!

*Sheamus drops the mic and decides to leave but comes back and picks up the mic*

Sheamus: Uh, I forgot to put the exclamation point to my words.

*Sheamus drops the mic again*

He picks Taker up and kicks him in the gut and hits a high-impact Celtic Cross. He leaves the ring to a chorus of boos. He stops on the stage and poses as Taker is shown down and out in the ring as we go to a commercial.

Back from the break and the Cody Rhodes' return is promoted.

It's another friends-turned-foes match in the history of the WWE. But this time the stakes can't get bigger. The self-proclaimed "Awesome One" The Miz, who beat Chris Jericho and John Cena in an 8-man tournament to reach the finals will battle his former best friends and championship-winning tag-team partner, John Morrison, who beat CM Punk and Triple H in the tournament, one-on-one for the WWE championship. History is ought to be made as these two young stars battle it out for the top prize in sports-entertainment. Can The Miz prove to the entire world that he is indeed the most must-see WWE champion in history? Or will John Morrison respond to the "Janetty" taunts with a victory and the WWE championship?

29l1a8n.jpg

5 men. 1 championship. The World Heavyweight championship hangs in the balance and literally so as it is going to be hung on the top of the arena come Backlash. The top 5 men from SmackDown!, namely, "The Viper" Randy Orton, "The Rated-R Superstar" Edge, Christian, "The Master of 619" Rey Mysterio and Kane will battle in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the World championship. With each men out there to prove a point, be it Edge's supremacy, Christian's 17 year long wait, Rey's heart, Kane's anger or Orton's frustrations, every man will be in a mood to destroy and destruct. But who will walk out with the World Heavyweight championship around his waist?

29uy6x1.jpg

You can't remember a time where John Cena hasn't been in the title situation since his debut, excepting a feud with Nexus. And he was going to do it this time too, when he had The Miz beat, but Wade Barrett interuppted and cost Cena his shot at the WWE title. And to further fuel the fire, CM Punk attacked John Cena with a steel chair and a GTS. Both making a strong point, Barrett saying Cena was a bully and Punk stating he's better than Cena with examples, will face John Cena and each-other in a triple threat match. Can Cena prove why he's the "face" of the company? Will Punk make his statement? Or will Barrett sneak out with an underdog victory against the two giants of the game?

9ivj8y.jpg

Isn't animosity between two veterans in the WWE natural? Especially if one is like Chris Jericho. Perhaps that's the reason why he is targeting Triple H. His continuos claims that Triple H is what he is because he is a McMahon and that he wouldn't be a main-eventer if he hadn't married Stephanie McMahon have led to this epic showdown between the two. With Triple H replying word-for-word and ready to reply punch-for-punch at Backlash, destruction is inevitable. But at the end of the day, who will come out on top is more important? Will it be a always tactical Jericho who'll prove his claim right? Or will the angry Triple H level Jericho with a Pedigree and show who's the boss?

5mwfgk.jpg

Ever since making his debut in the WWE, The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus has been on a role. Be it making an impact on ECW and tearing apart RAW, be it taking out Triple H for 11 months or be it beating John Cena twice for the WWE championship, Sheamus has done it all in his first 2 years in the WWE. But that isn't enough, at least Sheamus thinks so. He is now trying to prove his dominance on SmackDown! against The Undertaker with many more stakes. Sheamus's anger at the management and Undertaker, his career and Undertaker's pride and honor. Can Sheamus overcome the highest hurdle one can ever cross in the wrestling industry? Or will The Undertaker nail Sheamus with a Tombstone and prove to be relevant and dangerous much like in the earlier years?

Plus, the Intercontinenal championship will be on the line, as Alberto Del Rio takes on the son of Mr. Perfect, Joe Hennig. The U.S championship hangs in the balance as States' very own Daniel Bryan faces the Indian import, Jinder Mahal. The WWE Tag Team titles will be defended when The Hart Dynasty takes on the much more carefree Long Island Broskis, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. And, the Divas action couldn't get bigger as 15 divas battle it out in a battle royal for the Women's championship.

All this and much more! Only on Backlash in WWE: An Icon Presentation. Don't miss it guys!

(Prediction contest on till I post Backlash. So hurry up guys, my show's almost over!!)

Sheamus: Watch where you’re going fella!

Jericho: Me? You should be watching where you’re going because I’m the best in the world and I don’t look out for parasites!

Sheamus: You’re the one with the headphones on. And besides, what are you doing listening to music? You better go get ready for your match, because you have Triple H on your hands. Or have you given up already?

*The crowd cheer for the last statement*

Jericho: Given up? I don’t give up. It’s just Triple H. A piece of cake for me. Just look what I do to him when I get my hands on him. I will tear every inch of flesh that he has and I will break his every bone. Sheamus, I’ll do something you can never do in your life.

*The crowd boos Jericho*

Sheamus: I already have. Let me remind you fella, that I was the person, I was the man to take Triple H out for nearly a year. Eleven months to be exact. And what I did in one match, you haven’t been able to do in your entire career. And looking at your standards, I think you’ll never achieve it.

*The crowd cheers for Sheamus for what seems to be like the first time*

Jericho: I don’t care what you have to think Ronald McDonald. And you should be warming up because you are up against The Undertaker, aren’t you fella?

Sheamus: Undertaker, that old man. Don’t tell me you’re just like these people who believe Undertaker is immortal and unbeatable. Tonight, I am going to prove that all those things people say about him are clichés. Me, I am going to beat Undertaker and tear him into half. Tonight, you will see why they call me The Irish Curse.

*The crowd boos Sheamus as he storms off and Jericho is left behind as we go to ringside*

Christian: How are you Orton?

Orton: What are you doing here?

Christian: Orton, this World Heavyweight championship picture, it’s getting dirty. Because it’s surrounding you.

*Christian gets mixed reactions for that statement*

Christian: You see ever since week one, you are like the main guy of the group and all of us are mere players to make the game more entertaining. Ever since Teddy Long chose you as one of the five men to compete for the World championship, you have been the king and all of us are just pawns.

*The crowd cheer for that*

Christian: And this isn’t the case from just 4 weeks. It’s been the case ever since you won your first World championship under the influence of your father and Triple H and Ric Flair.

Orton: Something that you haven’t done in your long, 17-year long, “glorious” career.

*The crowd cheer the insult*

Christian: Yeah. But that changes tonight Orton. Tonight, the focus shifts from you to the AT&T Center, to the people of San Antonio, to the TLC match, to the World Heavyweight championship. Orton, tonight, the spotlight, for the first time in 17 long years, will fall on me.

*The crowd cheer for Christian*

Christian: When I win my first World Heavyweight championship under the influence of nobody!

Orton: Well done Christian. Nice talk. But it doesn’t make sense does it? Do you think that you can do what you want and all I’ll be doing is watching? Are you serious? I’m not a watcher Christian, I am doer. I will climb that ladder, retrieve the World championship and become World Heavyweight champion. And all you’ll be doing is watching!

*The crowd cheer as Orton walks off and leaves Christian as we go to ringside*

Todd: Miz, what is your plan for tonight against John Morrison for the WWE championship.

Miz: Plan? What plan? You know Todd, I’ve got more important things to do than think about that moron John Morrison. I was reading to school children and I was at the Backlash Axxess this weekend giving out autographs to hot girls while John Morrison was watching from a long range. I’m still the chic magnet ain’t I?

*The crowd boo the overconfident Miz*

Miz: But I mean, seriously, I don’t waste my time thinking about John Morrison. Because however ready Morrison is, however strong his desire to win the WWE championship is, he will never be able to beat me. He will never outlast me. Ladies and gentlemen, John Morrison can never become WWE champion!

*The crowd boos the loudmouth from Cleveland*

Miz: He and his girl-friend are alike. His girl failed to win the Women’s championship and he too will fail to win the WWE championship. All you people, who think John Morrison will beat me and hope that he does it, let me tell you, I am going to crush your hopes and his dreams with a Skull Crushing Finale. I will show the entire world who is the Shawn Michaels of our team and who is the Marty Janetty. I will show Morrison that he’s just another flash in the pan, a one hit wonder, a failure! While I, I am the new face of the WWE!

*Miz continues to generate boos*

Miz: I am on billboards, I am on collector cups, I am on T.V shows, I hosted the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, I am the new top merchandise seller and I will become the WWE champion! And not any WWE champion, the most must-see WWE champion in the history of this company. Because I’m The Miz and I’m… you know what it is Todd, say it!

Todd: Awesome.

Miz: AWEEEEEESOMMMMME!

Punk: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time CM Punk.

*The crowd cheer for the taunt to the interviewers*

Punk: I am here to tell you that tonight, I will be debuting my new theme song, Cult of Personality by Living Color.

*The crowd cheer for that statement too*

Punk: But in all seriousness, I am standing in this foul smelling room because the Executive Vice-President of Talent Relations, Mr. John Laurinitis told me to give my views on San Antonio and the AT&T Center. And I am going to do just that. You know, this arena was the best. The people of San Antonio were my favorite because they were always positive.

*The crowd cheer for that*

Punk: But that was until 2010. That was until Shawn Michaels performed in this ring, for the WWE. But after Michaels retired at the hands of The Undertaker at WrestleMania 28 in Atlanta, Georgia, everything changed. You people started booing. You people started booing me. You people turned into savage negative bitches.

*The crowd boos for the first time in the promo*

Punk: You people started favoritism. You people started cheering only for your favorites. Be it Triple H, The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton et cetera, et cetera.

*The crowd cheer for the great superstars*

Punk: And that’s when I decided I would punish each and every favorite when I came here. I decided I would bury, I would beat, I would finish off the people you cheered for. You voted for. And for whom you verbally assaulted me. And I did that. And tonight, I am going to do it again. This time, the obvious favorite is John Cena.

*The kids cheer for Cena*

Punk: Tonight, I am going to rip him off into pieces and feed him to the hungry, wild dogs. I am going to ensure John Cena never walks into the AT&T Centre ever again. Or into any arena for that matter. Tonight, I will make Cena pay. And I hope, the next time I come here, I do not have to rip off another guy. I hope the next time I come here, I will be the favorite!

*Punk storms off to a number of boos as we go to ringside*
