I actually didn't mind most of the matches list, so ill go with the survivor series match for the mind-shattering stupidity with which it was booked.

The Survivor Series tag had apalling booking, but the first few minutes before anyone got eliminated were pretty fun.
Meanwhile, the Punjabi Prison match was shit all around other than the Singh brother going through the table. Granted Singh brother destruction is almost always a guarantee in a Mahal match.

Punjabi Prison reminded us how dreadful it, The Great Khali and naked, misguided capitalism all are. It was the crux of the malaise surrounding Mahal too. This was dreadful while everything else afterwards was simply an extended disappointment.

I liked the Punjabi Prison match. There, I said it. I thought the Survivor Series ME and Reigns vs Cena were a lot worse. The former did nothing for SD's credibility and basically buried the brand, and the latter was just a glorified spot fest. Reigns/Cena isn't on the poll, so SS main event it is.

Bayley vs. Bliss Kendo Stick On A Pole was nommed a few times, and for good reason.
Many fans loved Bayley because she was constantly evolving as a character while staying true to that Good Girl persona. The one time she could break away from it and rightfully so...she doesn't. Since then her progression has come to a screeching halt. She's no longer that beloved hugger, or at least not the "John Cena of Women's Wrestling" several thought she'd be. If there was a match that defined her rise and fall, this was the one.
The others were bad matches, and some even had ramifications for those wrestlers' future, but none can come close to damaging a rising star than the one with Bayley and Bliss. She's not even a threat in the upcoming Women's Rumble. Dana Brooke is doing more than Bayley right now.

I think people have forgotten exactly how bad the Wyatt/Orton WWE title match at Wrestlemania was. Jinder/Orton was horrible but it, at the very least, had some fun spots such as the near-death of experience of Singh bro #1 and the so-stupid-it-was-funny return of Khali. Orton and Wyatt's match was so bad that it single-handedly made people forget about their pretty great 6+ month feud. Honestly, one of the worst WWE title matches in Wrestlemania history.
Yep I’m with ODYK. I can forgive the House of Horrors match because you know that was going to be a crap match coming in. I also agree with Bernkastel in that I think the Punjabi Prison match was actually decent. The great Khali coming out was a good way to end the match I think. Kevin Owens vs Goldberg was 2 moves so I’m not counting that.
That leaves the Survivor Series match and Wyatt vs Orton at Mania. I’ve already said I agree with ODYK so that means I’m voting Wyatt vs Orton at Mania. The Survivor Series match was like from the late 2000’s but I think the booking of the match was the problem, not the actual match itself. Where as Wyatt vs Orton was shit all over. From bad effects to not having much time to quite clearly just not a good mesh of guys, Wyatt’s first title defense could be his last and the match could’ve definitely hurt his chances of ever being in the title picture again.

The house... wasn't horrifying... AT ALL, it's like they didn't even try. Rent out a run down mansion or some shit, have Randy fall through the floor and end up trapped in the basement or something. Don't expect me to be frightened by Randy wandering aimlessly through four rooms of what looks like a slightly less run down version of a frat house. They showed Randy reacting with horror as he saw parts of dolls being hung by string from the ceiling, and they played cute -- I repeat, CUTE -- baby noises for the audience to listen to.

Bayley/Bliss should be on this list. The only possible explanation was that it had time cut out of it very late in the day and they along with the agent had no time to reorganise the lay out. It ended up making Bayley look incredibly weak and as a consequence did nothing for Alexa as she beat someone who was incredibly weak.
Orton vs Wyatt at Mania was bad and this is from someone who did not mind the cockroach projection - but then why, oh why did Orton then win? Surely the way the story played out, Wyatt should have retained at Mania claiming that Sister Abigail helped him; Orton then tries to do away with Abigail by burning the compound and then takes the title from a weakened Wyatt in the House of (no) Horrors. All of these matches made me feel bad or angry.
Wyatt vs Orton in the House or Horrors upset me because it was used as a vehicle to push the Orton/Jinder feud, but at least I didn't expect a masterpiece going in.
Goldberg vs. KO was upsetting because I believe that KO could have gotten something watchable out of Goldberd. Not a classic, but more than five minutes of stalling then a Chris Jericho appearance to cost KO the thirty five second match.
Orton vs Bray at Mania was bad because it ended so suddenly and was arguably the wrong result. I cried when Bray won the title at Elimination Chamber. I loved Bray, I still do, and I was just so happy that the tears started. Then for his reign to end like that. Even my girlfriend said it was a stupid ending.
The Survivor Series match was stupid because the whole Raw vs. Smackdown story was reduced to the Triple H and Shane McMahon show. Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura, Finn Balor. All marketable names in 2017, and all made to look like chumps.
The Punjabi Prison was the worst for me though because of a few reasons. One, I don't care for Randy Orton. He bores me. Two, he was basically sleepwalking through the entire feud with Jinder. I'm going with the Survivor Series 5 on 5. Just so many strange... nonsensical booking decisions. And the actual action itself wasn't even all that great, a huge step down from the previous year.
All the other matches were pretty much what you'd expect them to be. Goldberg/Owens went exactly how I thought it'd go. The Punjabi Prison is... The Punjabi Prison. Same goes for the House of Horrors. Orton/Wyatt from WrestleMania while tremendously disappointing from a wrestling standpoint, honestly did entertain me somewhat. It also helps that it was a very small part of a very big show that had many other stories coming out of it.

Given the name value and the weight the Men's Survivor Series match had, it should have been better. What happened there was an attrocity.

My vote here is for the Survivor Series Mens match.
-The House of Horrors was them trying something different. It failed, but they tried and the correct person won.
-Goldberg/KO was exactly what it should have been. Goldberg wasn't going to go long with KO and KO shouldn't have had much offense, so by having the distraction lead to the 2 moves of doom protected KO while removing the championship from him.
-While I don't want to see the whole projecting an image onto the ring thing again, I liked the thought process. Orton has it done to confuse Bray into falling for the RKO and it would have been perfect.
-Punjabi Prison led to the Super Singh Bros. taking pretty sweet bumps, and I actually liked having Khali help Jinder.

I went with the House of Horrors match because of how abysmally dull it was and because of the lack of detail WWE put into the execution of the match. The dull part is self explanatory, it was little more than a punch & kick fest between two guys who just didn't have good chemistry. As for the execution, the match had been filmed the night prior to the ppv itself because as Wyatt was leaving the "house" to head back to the arena, it was dark outside yet, in San Jose, California where the Payback ppv took place, the sun would've still been out or was just starting to set by the time the match went down. This must've been something that looked good on paper because it most certainly sucked in execution.
Any match listed is viable, in my opinion. Just about anything involving Goldberg is almost guaranteed to be shit. I was tempted to go for Wyatt vs. Orton at WrestleMania because the match was just kooky, they didn't work well together and this match probably did more to set Wyatt back than anything else since being fed to Cena. Wyatt had made some huge steps by winning the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber and successfully defending the title in a triple threat on SmackDown Live against John Cena and AJ Styles but WWE shit all over that by jobbing him out to Orton the way they did.
