France looked very ordinary for a good 70 minutes. Only when they did the obvious and put Benzema central did they look really dangerous. Against a team who won't run out of puff after an hour or so (I.E. the Germans) they're going to be in some bother.

Even at Madrid and for Germany, I find his form to be incredibly patchy. If he is not winning the game, he might as well not be on the pitch.

Don't think his being deployed on the left does him any favours at all.

If Colombia can maintain their form, specifically Rodriguez, they could win this thing. They're the only ones who have been impressive in every match.

Gotta love Gordon Strachan commenting on all the bollocks that ITV commentators/presenters talk.

Quoted for the truth. He and O'Neil are making their coverage hilarious because they're a good grade smarter than the rest and aren't afraid to voice their points, especially Glenn "Al Jazeera" Hoddle.

On a side note, Ozil is exactly the sort of player who fits Arsenal for a glove; super talented, bags of pace can pass beautifully and faffs around with the ball to the point where you're screaming until you're blue in the face. Such an irritant to watch.

He was anoynomous tonight for 99.9% of the game while Muller looked like an utter beast. If Germany win this tournament (which I think they will) it'll be due to him largely.
