WM29: Aftermath and General Discussion

What match do you THINK we'll see for the WWE title?

  • The Rock vs John Cena II

  • The Rock vs CM Punk II

  • The Rock vs CM Punk vs John Cena

Results are only viewable after voting.
i think your randy orton turning heel and facing sheamus is a great idea.

Ryback should be involved in a bigger way

No one wants to see rock vs cena 2. no one wants 2 see cena

i like seeing brock lesnar vs undertaker no holds barred falls count anywhere

take hhh out just this year, he can't follow up last year

alberto shuld be in the championship match going into mania as champion, hes made much money as a face

any one see seth rollins turning on the sheild and being another jeff hardy?

CM Punk (c) vs. The Rock vs. John Cena,
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship

If Taker isn't up for Mania 29 then CM Punk should regain the title at EC for The Rock envokes his rematch clause to set up a Triple Threat at Mania.

Team Heyman (Brock Lesnar,Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins) vs.
Triple H, Randy Orton, Ryback and Mark Henry,
8-Man Tag Team Match

The final conclusion to The Shield and HHH/Lesnar angle, Orton turns heel in the match to give Lesnar and The Shield the win and start a feud with Ryback.

Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Chris Jericho,
World Heavyweight Championship

Jericho wins at EC and Ziggler cashes in on Del Rio clean on the next Smackdown. Ziggler gets a credible CLEAN win.

Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes) (c) vs.
Goldust and The Miz,
Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship

Really thought Rhodes Scholars should've won at RR and still think they should win the tag titles even though they've gone their seperate ways. This would also solidify Miz's face turn by teaming him up with Goldust.

Daniel Bryan vs. Kane
I see them dropping the belts to Rhodes Scholars with Bryan winning here, Kane winning at Extreme Rules and winning again at Over The Limit in a Hair vs Mask match.

Sin Cara vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio,
"Face of Mexico" Triple Threat Match

They've done Del Rio's face turn well but I would rather see Jericho/Ziggler for the WHC at Mania. Del Rio wins.

Wade Barrett (c) vs. Sheamus,
Street Fight Match for the Intercontinental Championship

Even though they've faced off at least 10 times on Smackdown this would be still be Mania worthy with an added gimmick and can be billed as "Battle of the Brittish Brawlers". Barrett beats Bo Dallas at EC and continues to "bully" him after the PPV before Sheamus the person who "hates bullies" saves Bo and starts a feud with Barrett. Barrett finally gets an IMPORTANT pay-per-view win.

Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. Jack Swagger,
United States Championship

Swagger turns face by being "American Patriot" and wins the belt to open the show.

WWE Championship: The Rock (c) vs. John Cena

We all know it's happening. I remember last year, it was about 50/50 as far as who we thought would win. This year, we know Cena's winning. There's no way they make the golden boy job to Rocky in back-to-back Manias. I just hope it's a clever ending. Help from The Shield and a heel turn, anything at all just to keep our interest. It's the biggest show of the year, don't be afraid to do something bold.

The Undertaker vs. CM Punk

As long as Taker can walk, he's wrestling at Mania. I'm afraid of this not being the great match we've come to expect from both, given Taker's questionable health. There's the rumors that Taker wants Vince to let him pass the torch to Punk and ride off into the sunset. I'll believe that when I see it. While it'd be the ultimate way to put Punk back at the top without being champion, I don't think the dead man should ever lose at WrestleMania. 20-1 just doesn't have much of a ring to it. But, if is in fact what Taker wants, Vince should allow it. He's been the most loyal WWE employee for over 20 years and doesn't owe the company anything. If he feels Punk is worthy, then do it.

Hell in a Cell: Triple H w/ Vince McMahon vs. Brock Lesnar w: Paul Heyman

While I wish we could see DX vs. Brock & The Shield instead, the only members of DX that can still go are the Outlaws. So with that said, I think putting Hunter and Lesnar in the cage is the next best thing. It's Triple H's domain, and Brock made a new living in a different kind of cage: the octagon of UFC. Brock Lesnar should go over just like at SummerSlam, but I don't think he will. With a new 2-year deal, there's no reason he can't be WWE Champion for a short time this summer just as The Rock is. Lesnar losing to Triple H is the wrong way to go if you want him to hold the title this summer. I'm not saying both can't happen, just that it makes more sense for him to come out on top in April to set the stage for SummerSlam.

World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat: Albero Del Rio (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus

I think the unexpected success of Del Rio's face turns and great matches against Big Show have effectively earned him the right to walk into MetLife Stadium as World Champion. I can't really picture anyone but Orton winning the #1 Contender's match at Elimination Chamber, except maybe Mark Henry. And somehow, despite me seeing Orton as the winner, I still don't believe it will be a 1-on-1 match. Somehow Sheamus gets into this match and maybe that will be the catalyst for an enraged Randy Orton to turn heel. Maybe all 3 wrestlers walk in as fan favorites. I don't think they even know yet how it will play out. My theory is that Del Rio will retain though, and Dolph Ziggler WILL cash in. A great feud for the next 2-3 ppvs will ensue between Ziggler and ADR, which I really look forward to. I also look forward to Dolph and AJ kicking off Raw the next night with their newly won title belts as the WWE's newest power couple.

Ryback vs. Big Show

Ryback should NOT wrestle Chris Jericho. Why? Because Jericho should NOT turn heel. He's possibly had more face and heel turns than anyone in wrestling history, and he doesn't need another one. He's perfect in the role he's in right now. Ryback doesn't need him to get more over at Mania. A great Mania moment for Ryback would be the visual of him lifting Show over his shoulders and hitting Shell Shocked on the biggest guy on the roster.

Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way: Team Hell No (c) vs. Ambrose & Rollins vs. Mysterio & Sin Cara vs. Brodus & Tensai

If Mysterio and Sin Cara face eachother as rumored, you can easily replace them with Prime Time Players here. However, I don't think Mysterio is in the best of shape to give us an entertaining singles match that he's known for. Who should win this? I honestly don't know because I thought Rhodes Scholars would be wearing the belts as we speak. But they're no longer a team, and I don't think Hell No will be either for much longer. They can't accomplish anything more together in the ring or from an entertainment standpoint. I say if PTP are in the match, give them their due. If not, put The Shield over. That's the 1 team we'd want to see in a rematch or 2 with Kane and Bryan.

Divas Championship: Kaitlyn (c) vs. AJ Lee (with special guest referee Trish Stratus)

I think this is the best way (probably the only way) to breathe life into the division. Kaitlyn and AJ have a long history. From being former tag team partners to AJ slapping the bejesus out of her at random moments in past Smackdowns. This dates back a year or more, and to my knowledge they've never had a match. AJ needs to start being used as more than a character and return to the ring. This match would generate some interest, and I think it would be a wise move to give AJ the win (with Dolph's help of course) and make her get in that ring a lot more often. She's an entertaining personality, get the most out of her that you can.

Intercontinental Title: Wade Barrett (c) vs. Christian

If the Intercontinental Cup is meant to decide the #1 contender at WrestleMania, then Christian obviously won't be in this match as he's not in the tournament. However, I can't think of anyone better to put against Barrett to deliver a great match. Not Kofi, not Miz, nobody except Jericho and there's no logic in him being interested in the IC Title. Not that I'd be opposed to it, I just don't see the sense in it. Christian should be returning within a week or 2, and if he remains a face, I think he fits in well as a foe for Barrett. Also, they need to make Wade look strong again. Enough jobbing to Orton, losing to NXT guys, or any other bs. Put Barrett over if you're serious about making him a future main event guy. They scrapped MITB at Mania last year due to his injury and put the IC Title on him somewhat soon after his return. Then before you know it, he's back in the same rut. They misuse him much like Ziggler. Fix it if you want him to be taken seriously.

Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler

This could be a potential show stealer. They might even make Dolph put the briefcase on the line again just as an excuse to make it a ladder match. Dolph should win and preferrably clean, but as long as he wins that's all that matters. Y2J will be gone again before long and Ziggler is the future World Champ, possibly even on this same night. We saw what Jericho can do in a fantastic match with Punk last Monday night. I this match can at least equal it if not top it.

United States Title: Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. Jack Swagger

I know this match doesn't look likely right now with Swagger returning without a single adjustment being made to his character. All it takes though is one random anti-American promo from Cesaro after Elimination Chamber and Swagger can come out to make the face turn and issue the challenge. Cesaro has impressed the hell out of me in the ring since debuting and losing the title to Swagger helps him get over and it'll help himself in the long run also because bigger and better things are in store.

Goldust vs. Cody Rhodes

This is the perfect opening match. This should've happened at WM28, but better late than never. I hope that the reason Rhodes Scholars split was for this match to happen. Maybe you even let Dusty get in on the angle and play the impartial guest referee. This match could spring Cody back into relevance as a singles competitor again after a rough 2012.

What to do with the best of the rest? Why a 20-man pre show battle royal of course. Make it meaningful. A title shot of his choosing for the winner.

Mark Henry, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, The Miz, Damien Sandow, Justin Gabriel, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Darren Young, Titus O'Neill, Primo, Epico, Big E Langston, Joe Hennig, David Otunga , R-Truth,*Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Great Khali

Mark Henry picks up the win, goes after Cena and the WWE Championship. Could be the making of a nice feud for Extreme Rules, where we know The Rock won't be for a rematch.

I know 12 matches won't happen, but without a MITB match, I thought this was the best card possible that includes everyone who deserves a their place in the show.

I want Bryan to win the world heavyweight title then shout "YES YES YES" only for Dolph ziggler to walk down with the breifcase. Bryan will then start yelling "NO NO NO". They've never done this before also, yes bryan just wrestled in a match but they always beat the champion down before the cash in. This time they shouldn't.

Three main matches I'd do

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP: THE ROCK (C) vs JOHN CENA

I'd have Cena win but turn heel in the process.

10 MAN TAG: THE UNDERTAKER, TRIPLE H, SHEAMUS, RYBACK & KANE VS CM PUNK, BROCK LESNAR, & THE SHIELD

This would get most of the top stars in a big match and leave time for other stars to get over.

Some of the sample build up-
The Shield defeat Ryback, Sheamus and Cena at EC pinning Sheamus or Ryback.
Triple H returns to confront Lesnar on RAW
The Shield defeat Bryan and Kane for the tag belts leaving D-Bry and Kane to split up.
Kane goes one on one with CM Punk The Shield come out to make it 4 on one then big brother returns to make the save.
Heyman challenges Vince to put the company on the line against his team.
Vince reveals the 5 men that will represent team WWE
Punk snidely informs The Undertaker that his team mates will cost him The Streak
Ryback and Lesnar have a wild pull apart brawl.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: DOLPH ZIGGLER (c) VS DANIEL BRYAN
Show stealing match, Ziggler cashes in and Bryan wins the chamber.

There is a lot of speculation and assumption about what the top three main events of WrestleMania will be this year. But nothing has been confirmed or as far as I even know reported about a potential World Heavyweight Title match. Right now I see two possible scenarios.

Option 1- Alberto Del Rio retains against Big Show this Sunday. The returning Mark Henry wins the Elimination Chamber. The two meet at WrestleMania in one of the under card if not opening matches, and Del Rio conquers yet another giant. Ziggler could cash in post match and take the title from Del Rio.

Option 2 - Dolph Ziggler cashes in this Sunday and wins the World Title after Del Rio's grueling match against Big Show. Chris Jericho wins the number 1 contender Elimination Chamber match. We'd have ANOTHER rematch at WrestleMania, but I don't think anybody would mind.

What do you think about the possibilities of Alberto Del Rio (C) VS Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler (C) VS Chris Jericho?

What match would you like to see for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXIX?

Personally I'd love Ziggler defending the title against Jericho. Jericho looks better than ever, and is debatably performing better than ever. Ziggler retaining would be the safe bet, but Jericho could shock us all and win the World Title, then maybe drop it back to Ziggler at Extreme Rules in a Ladder Match allowing Ziggler to continue as World Champion, and for Jericho to leave again.

Ziggler vs. Jericho makes a lot of sense, but I really can't see them taking the belt off Del Rio right now. Del Rio vs. Mark Henry would be a total fail, as it does not scream WrestleMania title match AT ALL. Of the 6 chamber participants, the only ones (besides Jericho) I can see winning are Orton and Daniel Bryan (less likely but wouldn't be shocked). If Orton isn't in the World title match, this would mark his 4th WrestleMania in a row that he is not competing for the title, which is pretty shocking considering his name value. I see Orton winning, as much as I'm intrigued by the Ziggler vs. Jericho scenario. I'm very much in the dark as to what WWE is going to do here. Del Rio's face turn/title win has really changed the whole perspective.

I don't care what anyone says: Option 1 is NOT wrestlemania standard. The talent on this particular roster is far too good for that to be a co main-event. I really would be angered if this got on the card never mind for a world title. I like both guys but I don't think this is a worthy Wresltemania match. To be honest, I don't even see Henry on the card as a whole but that's not the point.

Jericho v Ziggler would be great for the belt although it doesn't need it. I think the winner would be obvious but they could still put on a terrific match: almost Ziggler winning the belt probably and getting his big moment.

The biggest question about Ziggler cashing in this Sunday is where does that leave Del Rio for WrestleMania? Another match with Big Show? Can't see it happening. What ever happened with Mayweather returning for WrestleMania? If that's still in the works, then I can see Del Rio teaming with Mayweather to take on Big Show and a partner of his choice.

If Jericho and Ziggler compete for the title at Mania, where does that leave Del Rio? Who would he face and what would be the story behind their feud? Jericho and Ziggler already have a story together to build up a match between them at Mania, the last thing they need is the world title on the line in their match, that's why I think they should save the world title for Del Rio, they can easily put anyone against him at WM and the story would already be there. Wrestlemania would be a lot easy to book if they kept the belt on Del Rio, so between your two options I would book Del Rio vs. Mark Henry for the title even though I think it would be a crap match too. The only thing it would be good for is just for Henry decimating Del Rio so bad after he loses to him for Ziggler to run in, cash-in on Alberto and win the belt.

Personally I would prefer Orton vs. Del Rio for the belt at WM even though the original plan for Orton was for him face to Sheamus. I think Del Rio would be the perfect feud for Orton to finally turn heel for, and they would be capable of pulling out another tremendous match with each other again. That would leave Sheamus and Henry, who I think would be a good match for each other at Mania. Yes I know that it's yet another rematch, but with Henry coming back stronger than ever, I'd love to see Sheamus test Henry at the big one.

WrestleMania should be about putting over as many superstars as possible and setting them up for success in the future.

Having Del Rio retain the title until WrestleMania would definitely help accomplish that. It's understandable that some fans are growing impatient when it comes to Ziggler's push, but good things come to those who wait, and hopefully the WWE subscribes to that theory as well.

I'd book Big Show to win the WHC at the Chamber and for Jericho to win the Chamber match.

On Raw, Jericho will come out and talk about how he's going to WrestleMania as the number one contender for the second-straight year ... how this year will be different ... yada yada yada ... Dolph Ziggler will interrupt the promo. Ziggler will remind Jericho that he shouldn't even be in the WWE anymore, much less be headlining WrestleMania 29. No, it should be Dolph headlining WrestleMania. The two will go nose-to-nose, and Jericho will point to the briefcase, reminding Ziggler that if he wants in the match, he has the means to make it a triple threat.

Ziggler won't take the bait. He'll remind Jericho that there are 6 weeks between now and WrestleMania for him to take the title from The Big Show. At that point, Big Show will come out and "wish" Dolph luck in taking the belt from him.

For the next several weeks, Dolph will STALK the Big Show. He'll have Big E attack Show before matches, during matches, after matches, backstage, etc ... he'll do whatever he can to incapacitate the Big Show to the point where he can easily pin him and win the belt. But he'll be unsuccessful every time.

As Mania nears, Jericho will taunt Dolph, reminding him that he doesn't have a match yet, and that if he doesn't win the belt soon, then he's going to be left off the card. This will only increase Dolph's focus on cashing in his MITB contract prior to the show.

This whole storyline will come to a head two weeks before 'Mania when Booker T will come out and say that the board of directors are nervous about the possibility of changing the WHC match two weeks prior to WrestleMania, and as a result, they're putting a hold on all WHC Title matches. Therefore, The Big Show can NOT put his title on the line in any match between now and 'Mania. An irate Ziggler screams that this isn't fair ... that his contract calls for a WHC match anytime he wants ... but Booker T will remain steadfast in his proclamation. At that point, upset that he'd be left off the WrestleMania card otherwise, Ziggler says he will cash in his briefcase and headline WrestleMania in a triple threat match with the Big Show and Chris Jericho.

If Jericho and Ziggler compete for the title at Mania, where does that leave Del Rio? Who would he face and what would be the story behind their feud?

That leaves Del Rio ready to start a feud with Jack Swagger - and here's how you do it ...

Alberto Del Rio cuts a promo during the EC ppv, talking about how he's going to defeat the Big Show and go to WrestleMania ... Jack Swagger and Zeb interrupt the promo, and in a continuation of his anti-immigration promo on Monday, Zeb tells Del Rio that he's a disgrace to the title - but that he hopes Del Rio retains so that Swagger can take the strap from him at 'Mania.

After Swagger loses in the chamber, they show him backstage, frustrated over the loss. Del Rio walks by and delivers a glancing insult about how Swagger won't be taking the title from Del Rio after all. Swagger and Zeb later interfere in the WHC match, costing Del Rio the title.

On Monday, Zeb and Swagger call out Vicky Guerrero. They then continue their anti-immigrant promo, and demand that their Mexican boss gives Jack Swagger a match at WrestleMania. Del Rio cuts off the promo and says all they had to do was ask.

For the next several weeks, Zeb and Swagger make ADR's life miserable - they ruin in his cars, they insult his heritage, perhaps they even get Ricardo "deported." Needing a new manager, and a new car, Vicky offers her services ... and at WrestleMania, Del Rio drives Eddie Guerrero's low rider to the ring with Vicky in the passenger seat.

The Rock vs John Cena - WWE Title Match
No explanation needed. This one was booked in July and pretty much set in stone at the Royal Rumble.

Big Show vs Chris Jericho vs Dolph Ziggler - WHC Title Match
Upset that Jericho won at the Chamber and earned himself a shot to headline WrestleMania, Dolph Ziggler vows to use his MITB contract and get himself in the match. Only, instead of making it a triple threat match, he spends the weeks leading up to WrestleMania trying to ambush The Big Show and cash-in the easy way. After weeks of failing at that, Booker T says that the Board of Directors have placed an injunction on the MITB contract until after 'Mania, forcing Ziggler to either cash in his contract or be left out of the main event. He chooses to cash-in and makes it a triple threat match.

The Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar
Triple H will interrupt a Brock Lesnar promo on Monday night, telling the former UFC Champion that he's come to get some retribution for the McMahon family, and that at 'Mania, he's going to kick his ass. The only problem is that Lesnar has no reason to accept the fight. He's already beaten Triple H, and he'll prove nothing by doing it again. At that moment, the lights go out, the gong hits and The Undertaker comes out. 'Taker doesn't say any words, just points to the 'Mania sign. Lesnar eventually accepts the fight - and Triple H stays out of the mix, out of respect for The Undertaker.

C.M. Punk vs Triple H
Convinced that Vince McMahon's vendetta against him cost him the WWE Title, Punk vows to take out on the son-in-law. For me, this match makes the most sense because it would put Punk in position to win a high-profile WrestleMania match against a legend. The rumored match against The Undertaker is a dangerous proposition because to be in that match, it would mean that he lost at Elimination Chamber, and then he'd obviously lose to 'Taker at 'Mania, making it THREE pay-per view losses in a row. After a 14 month reign as WWE Champion, it wouldn't make sense to me if the WWE booked Punk to lose three-straight pay-per view matches.

(Alternative: If The Undertaker can’t wrestle, then Cena/Rock becomes a triple threat … if Undertaker can’t wrestle a full match, but can still give it a go, then you could always make it Triple H/Taker vs Lesnar/Punk.

Team Hell No vs. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins Tag Team Title Match
Most people assume that Kane and Bryan will break up and have a match at WrestleMania. I hate the idea of seeing these two have a match at 'Mania because it would just lead to a re-match at the next pay-per view. I'd much prefer they break up at Mania and have their one and only blowoff match the following month. As for The Shield's involvement ... they're the only credible 'team' that I'd buy as champions at this point - plus, you may as well give them a big moment at WrestleMania since the plan is for them to be big-time players in the coming years.

Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger
Simple set-up here. Swagger's new character is anti-immigration. So he's going to go after the Mexican wrestlers. He'll make Del Rio’s life miserable for the next few weeks - attacking his heritage, damaging his cars, and maybe even having Ricardo deported. The reason I'd book the car damage into the script is so Vicky Guerrero – who will also face Swagger’s wrath - can tell Del Rio not to worry about the car; she has the perfect ride for him at WrestleMania. Then ADR will come out at 'Mania in Eddie Guerrero's low rider. As I don’t have them on the main card, Mysterio and Sin Cara can play a role in helping Del Rio go over in this match.

Wade Barrett vs Bo Dallas -- IC Title Match
They've been building this match for a few weeks now, and a 'Mania payoff would be sweet for the NXT rookie. I could see Bo Dallas coming down to the ring with the NXT roster - winning the belt - and then celebrating with the NXT guys. That'd be a great rub for all the young guys involved.

Antonio Cesaro vs Ryback US Title Match
I think this concludes my goal of booking every title to change hands at WrestleMania ... While most would say that Ryback is above the US Title at this point, and I'd agree, but with Cena most likely winning the WWE Title at 'Mania, Ryback's face character is probably going to be out of the WWE Title picture for a bit. The US Title gives him something to do in the meantime.

Randy Orton vs Sheamus
For the second-straight year, Orton is in a match that doesn’t make much sense. Orton’s star has faded to the point that he’s likely to turn heel soon. Sheamus, with The Shield moving on after the EC pay-per view, has no feud. It’s a perfect fit for two guys that won’t be left off the WrestleMania card, but who have nothing to do otherwise.

Miz, Kofi Kingston, Goldust vs Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow
There’s no way the WWE is going to give us Dustin Rhodes vs Cody Rhodes one-on-one, but the possibility exists that we’ll get it in a six-man tag match. The other four guys in this match also need to find a place on the card.

Brodus & Tensai vs 3MB -- Dance off / Air Guitar off
This isn't a match. It's a time filler. It ends with Brodus and Tensai cleaning house, and then dancing in the middle of the ring. Of every match I've "booked," this is probably the one I'm most sure of happening...

Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs Prime Time Players
This is my pre-show match. Injuries have slowed Mysterio to the point of irrelevancy the past few months, but he should be on the card somehow. This would be a good, quick-paced match to get the crowd going before the real show begins.

Punk v Cena v The Rock (C) - WWE Championship

There is still a small hope this match may happen but I highly doubt it will. Having Cena win the Rumble is fine but I would like there to be something extra to the rematch from last year. Obviously the WWE Championship adds to the match but Punk would give everything a different feel. From the build up to the match itself. It would be a real step up.

Brock Lesnar v Undertaker - Hell in a Cell

I realise this has been done before but these guys are capable of putting on a great match. It would be brutal and really gripping for the viewer- taker getting destroyed by Lesnar

The Shield v HHH, Ryback, Sheamus

Instead of Lesnar, have the shield take out VKM. This would allow HHH to try and get revenge and the links with Ryback and Sheamus would be obvious. Just let these 6 guys loose around the arena and put on a great match.

Dolph Ziggler (C) v Randy Orton - World Heavyweight Championship

I think Ziggler should have cashed in at the end of last year and given a proper run as champ. Allow Orton to win an EC match and set up this classic. It would be an incredible match and give Ziggler his big win at mania.

The Miz v Jericho

Have Y2J play on the Miz taking his style and copying his ideas. Make it a great feud on the mic - the segment each week that the audience is most interested in and the match of the end of it would be solid.

I would like to see a Triple Threat Match between Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio.

Hopefully we will see Ziggler Cashing in and win the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber or if not sometime before WrestleMania and then Jericho winning the Chamber and then it will continue the Jericho and Ziggler feud, but at the same time it will have two Fresh new faces in the Main Event at Mania.

Or

Have Jericho win the #1 Contenders Elimination Chamber Match and then face Del Rio at Mania, Have Jericho win the title at WrestleMania and then have Dolph Cash in and defeat Jericho and that will continue there feud and give Ziggler the Championship run he deserves.

I'll start from Elimination Chamber:

At EC, during Punk-Rock, the lights go out. When they return, The Shield is beating up on Punk which causes Rock to get disqualified, giving Punk back the title. Then Stephanie comes out wheeling Vince in a wheelchair. Vince gets on the mic ready to tell angrily tell off Heyman and the Shield, before he swerves and laughs, and tells the Rock that he was behind the Shield the whole time. He added the stipulation so that the Rock would lose the title. He wanted to screw Rock over again like he did at WM2000 and 17.

At this, Rock goes berserk on the Shield, but the Shield starts kicking his ass. John Cena comes running in to help the Rock. Steph jumps in and hits Cena with a chair. Before Cena could get up and go after her, she runs off wheeling Vince with her to the back. EC ends as Rock and Cena are leveled on the floor while Heyman, Shield and the new champ Punk celebrate.

The next night, Vickie announces that the WM main event will be a triple threat since Rock got screwed out of his title. Later that night, HHH confronts Steph saying that although he also still hates the Rock, he doesn't like Heyman because of Brock.

In the last segment, Heyman, Punk, Brock and the Shield are in the ring bragging about Punk's title. Then The Game comes out to threaten Brock. They all jump HHH, but then Ryback comes out to help Trips. Ryback and Brock get into it while Ambrose and HHH kick each other's ass.

This leads to Brock-Ryback and HHH-Ambrose.

Then Seamus challenges Taker's streak.

Final card will be

Punk(c) vs Rock vs Cena

Taker vs Seamus

HHH vs Dean Ambrose

Brock Lesnar vs Ryback

CM Punk VS. The Rock(c) for the WWE title
The build up would start at Royal Rumble. The Rock wins the title previously held by Cena (let's say around the new year's Raw).Punk goes to the Royal Rumble and wins after being the final two with a surprising Chris Jericho return.I would have the build-up similar to their Real life Royal Rumble encounter.Of course I would have CM Punk winning the match and solydifing himself as The Best in the World
Dolph Ziggler(c) VS. Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship
I can already tell you that this macth is more than likely to happen. The fact that their match at Summerslam was the best of that night certainly puts this match for the card.the Current one going on is fine.Though I would have their rivalry to be a little more intense than last time.I would have Ziggler win the match,of course.Though I would give the title to Jericho some way down the road.I would also have an stipulation of some sort. Most likely no holds barred.
The Shield VS. D-GenerationX
The trio known as The Shield will face DX's TripleH & The New Age Outlaws. The win in this one will give The Shield a great boost in fame and popularity. The rivalry starts after EC where The Shield attack VKM.The next week VKM comes out again and demands an explanation from The Shield. As the Shield wants to attack him again with the reason being "Vince doesn't give a damn about wrestling"DX strikes back and it will lead to this match.
Brock Lesnar/John Cena VS. The Undertaker
Finding the right opponent for 'Taker these days is very hard.So I suggested both Cena and Lesnar. On one side Lesnar's athletic abilities and strengh will cause more pain upon 'Taker. On the other hand Cena isn't really a good storyteller in the ring since previous 'Taker matches were good because of that.Or if 'Taker isn't ready,You can throw Cena and Lesnar against each other again.Although I think people would complain about it.
Other matches suggested areMoney in the Bank,Randy Orton VS. Sheamus,Daniel Bryan Vs. Kane,Triple tag team for the titles with The Uso's Prime Time Players and The Rhodes Scholars.

WWE Championship: Dwayne Johnson v Juan Cena.
This is pretty much what was needed to main event, money wise. I'm not a huge fan of the same match headlining Mania twice, but this is pretty much the only way. Cena has to go over here.

CM Punk vs Undertaker. With Punker ending Taker's streak.

Dolph Ziggler vs Chris Jericho for the WHC. Ziggles goes over.

Daniel Bryan v Kane for the Tag Team Championships. A 1-1 bout to determine who is the Tag Team Champions. It'd be both funny and probably be a passable match aswell.

Brock Lesnar v Randy Orton. I know it's going to be Lesnar v Mr. H's, but that match was ass awful last time so why not put Lesnar with someone who doesn't totally suck now? This could be absolutely fantastic.

Stupid Divas Battle Royale that will allow me to shit and possibly make hot dogs.

Stupid 6 on 6 for...some reason. Big Slow, Mark Henry, Cesaro, Rhodes, Sandow & Barrett v Miz, Ryder, Santino, Kofi, Sheamus & Del Rio. I want it to end with Mark Henry destroying literally everyone, heel or face.

Ryback v The Shield. This needs to happen, and have Brad Maddox be a part of Ryback winning for some reason.

Rey v Sin Cara. This one gives both something to do, and could be a fun watch...even if Rey is fat and slow now.

I posted my WrestleMania card in another thread, and even though this offers a slight twist - I'd book pretty much the same card ...

The Rock vs John Cena - WWE Title Match
Two of the biggest stars ever, in the same ring at the same time. I know this happened last year, but it'll be just as big this year.

Three years ago, after their confrontation at a UFC event, every thought this match was going to happen. Last year, when Lesnar re-signed with the WWE, everyone knew this match was going to happen. A year later, it needs to happen.

C.M. Punk vs Triple H
You know how Vince McMahon more or less screwed over Punk at the Rumble by putting in the disqualification stipulation? Well, I'd have done the same thing - since the weeks leading up to the Rumble pretty much made it clear that VKM would play a role in Punk dropping the strap. The only thing is, I'd have Punk take out his aggression on another McMahon - Triple H.

While most would say that Ryback is above the US Title at this point, and I'd agree, with Cena most likely winning the WWE Title at 'Mania, Ryback's face character is probably going to be out of the WWE Title picture for a bit.

I want the Goldust vs Cody Rhodes element to the match, but I also want the other four guys on the card. This match makes that possible.

Brodus & Tensai vs 3MB -- Dance off / Air Guitar off
This isn't a match. It's a time filler. It ends with Brodus and Tensai cleaning house, and then dancing in the middle of the ring.

Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs Prime Time Players
This is my pre-show match. Injuries have slowed Mysterio to the point of irrelevancy the past few months, but he should be on the card somehow. This would be a good, quick-paced match to get the crowd going before the real show begins.

Cena vs. Rock vs. Punk for the WWE title

HHH and Orton w/ Flair vs. The Shield in Street Fight - essentially an Evolution reunion that'll put the Shield over like Rock and Sock did for them, an Orton heel turn could happen here too.

Lesnar vs. Taker

Del Rio vs. Mark Henry WHC title with a Ziggler cash in match after

Ziggler vs. Jericho

Daniel Bryan vs. Kane (beard vs. mask)

ReyCara vs. PTP vs. Usos (tag title ladder match)

Big Show vs. Ryback

Cesaro vs. Barrett (champion vs. champion match)

Something for Sheamus

Some meaningless battle royal or elimination tag match to fit in the other guys left out

Del Rio is being pushed for his Latino background. Not sure how long that will last, but really not sure if Mark Henry is Wrestlemania World Championship material either. I could see a Y2J vs Ziggler vs Del Rio match?

I'm really torn on this one because I think Del Rio deserves to walk into Mania as the WHC with the unexpected success of his recent face turn.

However, Ziggler vs. Jericho for the title might be the match I'd look forward to most on the Mania card. I'm a big fan of both, especially Jericho, and I think it would steal the show.

Anyways, what I actually think will happen is this: Ziggler does not have a match on the card, so I'm almost certain this means he's cashing in. However, I think the WHC match won't have a clear-cut winner. A DQ, count-out, even a double DQ or CO. After the match, the fighting continues and Big Show lands the KO punch on ADR. Ziggler runs down with Langston, Big E hits Big Show in the back of the head with the briefcase to keep him from interferring, and then Dolph cashes in on an out cold Del Rio.

Jericho wins the #1 contender's match. This one I'm almost sure of. I think Mark Henry will face Ryback at Mania and Orton will face Sheamus, so Jericho makes too much sense to ignore. With Del Rio having a rematch clause to use and Big Show not losing by pin or submission, they both plead their case to Booker T and he makes it a Fatal 4-Way: Ziggler (c) vs. Jericho vs. Big Show vs. Del Rio at WrestleMania.

I'd much rather see Jericho and Ziggler 1-on-1, but I'm also ok with this because I think ADR at least deserves to be in the WHC match if not walk in as the champ (or even walk out as champ). It's also been a while since we saw more than 2 guys in a high profile title match at WM. And the last fatal 4-way was at WM16 if I remember correctly.

I could be way off. They might be planning a Del Rio/Swagger feud and have Big Show face Ryback, but with the way they're having Mark Henry destroy everyone in his path, I think he's the more likely opponent for him.

I would like to see Del Rio vs a heel Orton. I know we have seen Orton and Del Rio many times before but the face heel switch would freshen it up a bit. Ziggler and Jericho would be a great match to see, but they have a back story already and the belt isn't really needed in this match. If they didn't have the trend of the World title match opening the show I would say Ziggler could defeat Jericho and go on to cash in later in the show having his Mania moment winning the title then.

What do you think about the possibilities of Alberto Del Rio (C) VS Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler (C) VS Chris Jericho?

What match would you like to see for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXIX?

For me personally, I'd prefer Ziggler vs. Jericho for the title. Jericho & Ziggler are two of the best in-ring guys going in my opinion, so a match between them at WM for the WHC that's given a lot of time is an almost guaranteed show stealer. Jericho & Ziggler have both displayed the ability to work very well & get a strong match out of just about anyone. They had a couple of great matches themselves last year and I've no doubt they could pull out all the stops for WM.

I'm enjoying Del Rio more than I have in quite a while. There's not a ton of depth to him as a babyface, but he feels much fresher than he has in a long time. Mark Henry is back as the unstoppable monster that made him one of the most enjoyable acts in wrestling during the second half of 2011. From a match standpoint, for me, Del Rio vs. Henry just can't compare to Jericho vs. Ziggler, at least not without some sort of stipulation to the match. Del Rio vs. Henry in a standard, 1 on 1 match probably won't pack a ton of excitement into it. I think it'd be a good, solid match but not anywhere near the league of Jericho vs. Ziggler.

I think that we'll have a firmer grasp on where WWE is going with WM 29 after tonight's Elimination Chamber ppv. I'd say that there'll be some matches added to the card later just so everybody can have a WM payday. As for some of what I think will or might take place.

WWE Championship - John Cena vs. The Rock - Even though we've already seen this match last year and the WWE Championship being on the line all but gives away the ending, this will be a big money match.

The Undertaker vs. CM Punk - If Taker appears at WM this year, it's all but written in the stars that Punk will be his opponent. I think it'd be a great match but if Taker doesn't work WM this year, then I expect to see Punk added to the WWE Championship match.

Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar - I think Trips will make a return to Raw tomorrow night looking to avenge Vince for having his hip "broken" by Lesnar. Again, I think it'll be a good match at WM, though I think the match needs to be no DQ.

Daniel Bryan vs. Kane - I think we all know that this match is coming. Team Hell No are on the verge of breaking up, it might even happen tonight as they're both in the Elimination Chamber match. It'll be a solid match I think, and at least Bryan will have finally gotten a real match at WM.

World Heavyweight Championship - This is wide open at this point in time. Del Rio faces Big Show tonight at the EC ppv and is expected to retain. Dolph Ziggler is waiting in the wings and has stated he will cash in before WM. Tonight might be the night. If that happens, then I expect Del Rio will get his rematch at some point on either Raw or SD! before WM because the winner of the EC match will face the champ at WM, whomever that might be. I'd say the favorites to win EC are Orton, Henry & Jericho. If Ziggler cashes in successfully tonight, then I expect that Jericho will win the EC and go onto face Ziggler. WWE has continued to point out that Jericho has been in more of these matches than anyone, plus Ziggler wanted to get into the EC match after Jericho earned a spot, so there's a potential of their rivalry being renewed.

Diva Match - There'll be some sort of Diva tag match or Diva Lumberjill match at WM cuz the women will be pissed if they don't get a WM payday.

I hope they do something with the US and IC titles this year WM as well.

At this time though, I think that Cena vs. Rock II & Triple H vs. Lesnar are probably the only pretty solid locks for WM right now.
