Why is everyone here hater?

I am just wondering about something? Every time I read a thread on Wrestlezone, it seems to be all hate. Most of the people here, their top topic is "I hate (insert wrestler or organization here) for whatever reason" I have wondered if everyone here hates so much about wrestling, why do they watch. I hate NASCAR, but I am not going to spend all my time bitching about it. People hate TNA, keep forgetting that it is only 7 years old. They are about 60 years behind the WWE. People hate the WWE because they aren't pushing there favorite guy. I love wrestling. I always have and always will. I used to be the guy who said he would boycott if they didn't do something, but I would always come back. There are a lot of guys who are a lot smarter than all of us who are in charge of this stuff. If all the fans knew what would be better, we would have a job with one of the companies. I am not saying you have to like everything they put on tv, but wrestling is not a democracy. I personally don't like much of wrestling for story lines as I do the in ring product. Usually when someone is talking, I turn the channel and come back when the matches start. Story lines can be great or terrible, but the in ring performances are what keep you entertained.

Stop hating on Cena, Stop hating on Punk, stop hating on wrestling. Enjoy the good about wrestling. The fun you have with it. I know we all wish it were different, but with the PG rating style, they are limited to what they can do. Get over the attitude era. That will never happen again. Do you remember when you started watching? I was 4 years old watching old NWA (JCP to be exact) with my grandmother hating Ric Flair and the Horseman, loving Dusty Rhodes an Magnum TA and Ricky Steamboat. It was PG back then and I have been a fan ever since. The WWE wants to hook them when they are young so they can grow up to be fans who bitch about wrestling.

I say this to all the haters. Its is a rip of of an old saying but here it goes..."Wrestling, love it or leave it!"

P.S The alleged 5 moves of Doom. Tell me a main event star who doesn't suffer the 5 moves of Doom syndrome.

HHH - Punch, spinebuster, high knee, facebuster, knee drop, pedigree
Batista - Spinebuster, powerslam, spear, punch, batista bomb
HBK - sweet chin music, elbow drop, flying forearm, chop, turnbuckle flip
etc. etc. etc.

I not saying...I am just saying.

Oh stop preaching or bitching or whatever other term you can think of. This is a discussion forum on professional wrestling. Half the reason for this forum to exist is for fans to talk about their likes, dislikes, loves and outright hates of what's going on in professional wrestling these days.

If I want to rant about how lousy I think a wrestler is, I will. If I want to ramble on about how far in the wrong direction a company is going, I'll do exactly that. You know why? Because I'm a consumer. I'm an individual that pro wrestling companies are presenting their product to. Same goes for everyone else here. If someone wants to hate, let 'em hate. If someone wants to gush love for a wrestler or company or whatever, let 'em gush. It's all good here, but don't try telling anyone not to do either.

See, it's ******ed to moan at people for moaning. We're all here to express our opinions about what we like and dislike about pro-wrestling.

Most of the guys i like keep getting released for apparently no good reason (Kennedy, Umaga), or spend a lot of time on the injured list(Taker, Edge), or just aren't featured on TV very much(TBK, Kozlov).

The guys i don't like are on near enough all the time, so i'm not likely to sing their praises all the time am i? I can appreciate a good match between two wrestlers but you're never going to hear me say that HHH is the best wrestler ever, because i can't stand him anymore.

But to throw abuse at posters because he doesn't like the wrestlers you like, just makes you look like a childish wanker at the end of the day.

So people who say: 'If you hate Cena you're opinion is stupid and you suck' are essentially childish losers who can't come up with a decent response and have to get their panties in a bunch over it.

People slag off my favourites all the time, but i still respect their opinion, and try to convince them otherwise. If they still disagree then fine, but i'm not going to say 'NateDaMac is a twat because he likes Cena,' despite the fact that he recently did the same thing to people who DON'T like Cena . You want to talk to groups where EVERYONE loves Cena, go to your local playground, just keep your hands to yourself.

You want to go on a forum where EVERYONE agrees with EVERYTHING you say? Don't bother, you won't find it.

(Nate that wasn't a personal dig, yours was just the most recent example that i'd read.)

I think this is fairly simple. There is plenty more negative than positive in the world, at least, it is more apparent. Pick up a newspaper and count the major articles. The majority are likely something involving death, scandels, or money problems. All can be viewed as negative. Meanwhile, all the positive stories are featured in smaller text on page 30 something. Bad things are easier to market, and have more to discuss.

There are plenty of threads here that aren't all based around said hate. However, it is just the numbers game, and it gives the illusion that everyone hates everything. I'd think that each poster has to have something they like about the WWE/TNA/ROH/etc. or else they wouldn't want to be here anyway.

It unfortunately has started with wrestling new's leaking into internet. Before then people just were fans just like every other fan and were watching the show for entertaining. They were not trying to outsmart bookers. When wrestling news, spoilers and all of that bullshit started to leaked into internet. It changed the entire wrestling world.Everyone started to think that they have some knowledge about wrestling because they started to know about what happens at locker rooms,in wrestler's personal life etc.So it gave them a stupid thought. They started to actually believe they know wrestling business better than who are in the business the reason is they've been watching wrestling for 20 years. When they had that thought they pretended to be like wrestling professors and started watching wrestling to analyze instead of entertain.I think some people even take some notes about the shows and I think it's completely BULLSHIT.It's not your job. It's booker's job let them care about these things.Yeah you can tell something that you don't like about wrestling but in a kind and polite way.Not with bitching about it and you have the remote control if you hate the show that much change the fucking channel. It's what I do.I don't try to analyze matches/segments on shows I just try to entertain for only one and half hours.I'm completely honest with my opinions that should be the way wrestling fans act.

Hating comes in when people actually believe the storylines and take it for real... for example, when WWE stck drop, because the shareholders thought that Trump was actually in charge... sad...

The main problem from my view is that to many fans have turned into critics and just wont settle with enjoying it or turning the damn channel.

Everyone is a critic. Nobody can watch the show and agree with anything and everything. There will be parts some like and parts some don't, and in my opinion there is nothing wrong with that.

Fact is, tastes change. Characters and storylines you liked when you were younger are repeated or you see the talent of today and you don't like it. Or, you just find an angle in particular incredibly boring and can't get on with it. However, that's just fine and it's what makes you a good fan. Enjoying the show, and noticing the parts where you didn't. Its better being critique about the show rather than being a blind fan that agrees anything that's put in front of you including the most ridiculous of things.

The amount of hate on these forums really annoys me. Sure, you can give me the "I have a right to my opinion because I pay to watch it" shit, but that's really all it is at the end of the day - shit. The WWE is at the best it has been in years. It's entertaining all across the board, and has a LOT of potential with the rising stars we're seeing become more prevalent each week. It's seen as 'cool' to hate a lot of aspects of the business; the PG Rating, Triple H as champion, Cena doing pretty much anything etc.

At the end of the day, you're still watching it, so it really can't be that bad. And if it is, there is an option no one seems to comprehend. Don't watch it.

Why's that, exactly? Wrestling is supposed to be ridiculous; grown men in the middle of a ring in tight shorts doing fake moves on each other? What do you expect? The whole point of watching wrestling is to believe. Believe that Cena is the best, believe that Edge is a horrible person, believe that these moves are really hurting the other person. Forget it's scripted. Sit down and enjoy the damn show, mark out like you did when you were a child. That is what wrestling is about.

:worship: Sigh, Becca. You rox my sox.

That's why we still all watch wrestling. it's not to give us a hobby, or to enjoy a great artform. It's to get that giddy feeling that comes around once a year when Wrestlemania is on the horizon. Its to get those butterflies in your stomach when Michael Buffer announces the Royal Rumble Match.

We try to justify watching wrestling, trying to fight off the fact that we didnt "grow out of it", by getting all technical on it's ass. We use terms like Heel, Face, Heat, Angle, all words to distance ourselves from what drew us there in the first place. Its okay to have an opinion. It's ok to get angry at some stuff that happens on your wrestling show.

But never forget that you are a wrestling fan and to once in a while lose yourself in it.

Becca does have a good point but five tyme champ I gotta say I never said I hate wrestling. If anything WWE and TNA is disappointing when I watch it, I have never said in a blog post that I hate Cena, if anything I've hated the way Vince has pushed him with the same character to appease his own ego, basically Vince tries to prove with Cena and HHH that WWE can be PG. I think that there are feuds that go the extra mile in order to impress the fans and I know I may sound redundant with it but the Rey/Y2J is the perfect example of being able to readjust their feud PPV by PPV. So WWE can get it right, TNA however only keeps me interested for the first hour or so of every PPV cause thats where they bury their best product, the X division. BTW no offense five tyme champ but you gave HHH 5 moves + 1

Hm, I get your point. But shouldn't we have a choice who we can like and dislike? Isn't that why there are 30+ men on each show and not just one main character? If we are supposed to like whoever they put in front of us and hate those who are "evil" then that takes out the fun in watching it. Personally, I like it when two people can debate about wanting either the good guy or bad guy to become champion. I never even mentioned in my previous post that you have to believe it's scripted, but you should be able to have your own opinion on the show and it's characters and also have your own personal favourites.

Simply because people are complainers. People complain all the time because it's human nature. No matter how good something is, a person will find something wrong about it and bitch and moan about it, no matter how small and insignificant it is.
When wrestling is at it's best, people will find things to complain about that are, as I said, small and insignificant.
Wrestling at the moment, isn't great. I think it's good, I'm happy with the way it is. Apart from TNA, obviously, but that's to be expected.
Anyway, alot of people aren't happy with the way things are in wrestling. The over exposure of main event talent on Raw, and the misuse of midcard talent.
Smackdown at the moment is arguably the strongest it ever has been. Or at least it was a couple of weeks ago before Edge got injured. Either way, it's still awesome now.
But people are still complaining, about R-Truth's split personality gimmick, about Crime Time not being used well in the tag division.
Basically, people will bitch and moan about anything. It makes everything more interesting. You can either ignore it, or tell the haters why they're wrong.

There's over 30 men on the show so that you like and hate LOTS of different people. I don't really get why this is a point.

If we are supposed to like whoever they put in front of us and hate those who are "evil" then that takes out the fun in watching it.

Um, no, that's the point of it. Do you go see Superman/Batman and want to bad guys to win? Hell no.

Personally, I like it when two people can debate about wanting either the good guy or bad guy to become champion. I never even mentioned in my previous post that you have to believe it's scripted, but you should be able to have your own opinion on the show and it's characters and also have your own personal favourites.

You can have personal favourites. My favourite has always been Shawn Michaels but I still 'hate' him as a heel. Wrestling is based on good vs. evil. If you take that away and mix the boundaries you're losing a lot of the essence of the show.
