As a Sixers fan, AI has always been a phenomenal player despite his poor shooting, who excelled because of his quickness and ability to get to the basket.

I'm not as big of A.I. fan as you, but yes... I am an Allen Iverson fan. He just slipped my mind when I posted that. But yeah.... Bibby, Melo, and Iverson are by far and large my favorite 3 players currently in the game. I also dig Derrick Rose and Kevin Martin, too.
But yeah.. I'm very much looking forward to watching Memphis this year. They have some serious talent on that team. Will they mesh well and live up to the potential, however, is not certain. Hopefully they do though.

It has been decided that A.I. will start the season as the sixth man and all of his teammates and coaches say that he has been fine with it in practice and hasn't complained one bit. They are even saying that he has been motivational and giving O.J. Mayo points on driving to the basket. Are we going to see a change from Allen Iverson?

I occasionally watch a few Knicks & primetime games , but for the most part I don't start watching basketball until around playoff time.
I'm not a big fan of the NBA itself though. I mean come on, this off season most high-profile FA's just went to teams where they could win a championship. That really doesn't help the "unknown" franchises of the NBA that are still need development. (That way the NBA doesn't need to rely on popular markets for advertising)
