UWF: Mock Draft III

Keep in mind, I have no idea of any stories or planned match-ups. Just evaluating overall strength of cards.

C.M.
Brand Name: Independent Wrestling Federation
General Manager: Vince McMahon
Roster:
1. Hulk Hogan
2. John Cena
3. Chris Jericho
4. Randy Orton
5. Jeff Hardy
6. Matt Hardy
7. MVP
8. John "Bradshaw" Layfield
9. Farooq
10. Ken Kennedy
11. Carlito
12. Bobby Lashley
13. Finlay
14. Paul London
15. Brian Kendrick
16. Ultimo Dragon
17. Paul Burchill
18. William Regal
19. Shelton Benjamin
20. Jerry Lawler
Pretty solid roster. The inclusion of Carlito and Ken Kennedy loses you points as they are both pretty horrible, but a great steal in Jerry Lawler at 20th pick, and Ultimo at 16th pick. Not to mention I love the possibilities with Hogan, Cena and Lashley. You have the heavy hitting main-eventers who are VERY good at working matches, and a more fast paced undercard. You're main-event heel MIGHT be a little weak, just depends on what direction you plan on going.

Overall Grade: B+

BRIANBECKERISAGOD
Brand Name: Star Power Wrestling
General Manager: Shane McMahon
Roster:
1. Stone Cold Steve Austin
2. Randy Savage
3. Ric Flair
4. Dusty Rhodes
5. Tom Billington
6. Davey Boy Smith
7. Mr. Perfect
8. Vader
9. Kerry von Erich
10. Roddy Piper
11. Bruno Sammartino
12. Arn Anderson
13. Tully Blanchard
14. Diamond Dallas Page
15. Billy Graham
16. Ted Dibiase
17. Stan Hansen
18. Barry Windham
19. Dustin Rhodes
20. Magnum T.A.

Probably my favorite roster of the bunch. You have plenty of guys who make GREAT and entertaining undercard workers and any number of guys who can make good main-eventers. And, if you don't have plans for a Steve Austin vs. Randy Savage main-event at some point, you will be red-repped until I die. Great tag teams, great stable possibilities, great history of great feuds, with great potential for new great feuds. You have some great heels and great faces. Overall, you have a fantastic roster.

Which, considering the ignorance of so many of today's wrestling fans probably dooms you to be eliminated first.

Overall Grade: A+

THe WHoLe FuCKiN SHoW
Brand Name: The Whole Fucking Show
General Manager: Paul Heyman
Roster:
1. Shawn Michaels
2. Brock Lesnar
3. Edge
4. Chris Benoit
5. Christian Cage
6. Christopher Daniels
7. Bryan Danielson
8. Nigel McGuinness
9. Bam Bam Bigelow
10. Lance Storm
11. Taz
12. Rhyno
13. Ricky Morton
14. Robert Gibson
15. Low Ki
16. Rick Rude
17. Jake Roberts
18. FORFEIT
19. Shane Douglas
20. Bruiser Body
The addition of Bruiser Brody gets you a legit main-event big time draw. Shawn Michaels can give you a solid number 2, and Edge, Christian, and Benoit are very solid midcarders. Jake Roberts and Rick Rude are two additional solid wrestlers. While I feel it is ridiculous, the inclusion of people like Storm, Danielson, Nigel, Taz etc., may get you a couple votes. However, I am not nearly as impressed.

Overall grade: C

Mr. Sam
Brand Name: Sports Entertainment International
General Manager: Eric Bischoff
Roster:
1. The Rock
2. Sting
3. Triple H
4. Eddie Guerrero
5. Rob Van Dam
6. Samoa Joe
7. Chris Sabin
8. Alex Shelley
9. Rick Steiner
10. Scott Steiner
11. Homicide
12. Hernandez
13. Gene Anderson
14. Ole Anderson
15. Mike Awesome
16. Jeff Jarrett
17. CM Punk
18. Colt Cabana
19. Austin Aries
20. Roderick Strong

Such a strong start, such a ho-hum finish. Rock and Sting are wonderful (as long as you don't try to turn Sting heel against face Rock...just silly). After Eddie things just go downhill. I like Jarrett on the roster as he is very versatile. But, your lust for ROH nobodies just ruins your roster for me. But then again, that probably makes you the favorite of this thing.

Overall Grade: C-

cabowers
Brand Name: Fan Power Pro Wrestling
General Manager: Mick Foley
Roster:
1. Bret "Hitman" Hart
2. Kurt Angle
3. Goldberg
4. Rey Mysterio
5. Undertaker
6. AJ Styles
7. Ricky Steamboat
8. Owen Hart
9. Abyss
10. Jushin Liger
11. Chris Harris
12. James Storm
13. Petey Williams
14. Robert Roode
15. Sycho Sid
16. Great Muta
17. Billy Gunn
18. Jesse James
19. Lex Luger
20. Ken Shamrock
I'm loving this roster. Bret Hart, Lex Luger, Great Muta, Jushin Liger,Goldberg, Rey Mysterio, Ricky Steamboat, Sid Vicious...all amazing professional wrestlers. Throw in guys like Abyss, Owen Hart, Kurt Angle, etc., and you have one stacked line-up. The only thing I wonder is about the long-term possibilities of the roster. You have a great card for two or three rounds, but may have some mis-matched styles afterwards. But, that's a problem for later, you have a stacked roster for now.

Overall Grade: A-

SuperDerf
Brand Name: Behemoth Championship Wrestling
General Manager: Bobby Heenan
Roster:
1. Andre The Giant
2. Batista
3. Kane
4. Umaga
5. Mick Foley
6. Kevin Nash
7. Scott Hall
8. Booker T
9. Vince McMahon
10. Ultimate Warrior
11. Road Warrior Hawk
12. Road Warrior Animal
13. Big Show
14. Great Khali
15. Bubba Ray Dudley/Brother Ray
16. D-Von Dudley/Brother Devon
17. Santino Marella
18. Spike Dudley
19. Monty Brown
20. Yokozuna
Another solid roster. You have some incredibly underrated professional wrestlers, with guys on there who really know how to bring in the fans. The biggest problem I have with this roster is there is very little variety. Everything is giant brawlers, and nothing to spice up the card. Your undercard are guys like Santino and Spike Dudley. Yuck. You would have been better off with guys like Brian Pillman, Rick Martel, Tito Santana, Marty Jannetty etc., guys who provide something special apart from your heavy hitters. Still, great concept for a roster and I really like some of your choices. Although, Brody and Vader would have been a great fit.

Overall grade: B

Overall, I'd rank card potential and rosters like this:

1. Brian
2. cabowers
3. C.M.
4. Superderf
5. The Whole Fuckin Show
6. Mr. Sam

Best of luck to everyone. I hope you appreciate my analysis on rosters.

Well appreciated, and yes i have ideas for a Savage Austin. Erich Dibiase feud

cheers sly i remember after 6 picks i was 5th ranked so glad i improved.

I disimproved, but with the additions of Spike Dudley (who is SUPPOSED to be one of the Dudleys) and Santino Marella (Who after RAW last night probably won't get me as many cheap smark votes) I suppose I did deserve to drop from 3rd to 4th. I know right now that if I'm not the first one gone, I'm picking up someone else from another roster and Santino will be the first to go. I just finished my card, and I could barely find any place for Santino to fit in!

Ladies and gentlemen, a lifetime offer. Eddie Guerrero is going cheap. Seriously, I'll take anyone. By that, I mean a main eventer/high mid carder. No complete nobodies.

sam, Taz for eddie????

yo sam, we just got ranked below a roster with khali, santino (although i adore his raw segments) and spike dudley. did that really happen? no offense to superderf btw. everyones got their own style.

Haha No offence Taken. Like I already explained a few times, I have plans for Spike as part of a Tag Team/Manager, Santino is only for Comedic relief and cheap Smark Votes, and since I'm building around huge guys, I kinda needed Khali. You don't get much bigger than Khali, no matter how bad he is.

btw my card runs in reverse order so the match at the top is actually going to be the first match on the show

Thats how most cards work. But the match of the night at the top so that it's the first one people get to see, and that makes them wanna see the whole thing even more.
