Tyson Kidd and his future

I personally am a Tyson Kidd fan. Love his ring work and his story telling mom the ring. He's decent on the mic and he can perform good as a heel or a face(preferably heel). This thread is just a general discussion and I want to hear others opinions on Tyson Kidd

What do you think the future holds for Kidd? Do you think he can make it back to the main roster and excel? And do you think cm punk endorsing Kidd in one of his final pipe bombs helped Kidd or hurt him?

I don't think Punk's mention of Kidd did anything for or against Tyson. Then again, Tyson Kidd is another fantastic talent that has absolutely no charisma. Which is a shame because personally I could watch him do flippy flips for hours, but in the end he isn't going to put butts in the seats.

I agree with the whole no charisma thing, but after watching the Adrian Neville match at takeover, which was a great match in itself, I think he has improved since coming to wwe even if e is in developmental

I think Tyson Kidd sucks and cannot speak or have any personality. Yes, he can be a decent technical wrestler but who really cares anymore. He is pretty terrible and his future holds very little. Maybe a solid wrestler instructor position somewhere with 100k a year plus benefits would be good for him. He will not even succeed in TNA, ROW, or lesser promotions as he has less personality and character, mic skills etc then even people such as Davari who was rather awful himself.

When it comes to his in-ring work, Tyson Kidd's always been fun to watch. With the current angle with him doing what looks to be a slow heel turn in NXT, he's FINALLY showing that he has something to contribute as a personality. His promos during the build for his match against Adrian Neville for the NXT Championship at NXT Take Over were pretty good in my eyes. He demonstrated passion, desire and genuine intensity for the first time I can recall.

If they were to use what they're doing with him in NXT as a launching pad and continued it up on the main roster, I think there's a possibility that Kidd could be a meaningful part of the roster. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll happen if reports of Vince wanting to turn him into a Luchadore babyface are true. At the same time, I can see the advantage of repackaging Kidd completely because he's been so irrelevant in WWE for so long that his "image" as Tyson Kidd may irreparably damaged. Vince feels it's important that they have a Mexican babyface on the roster even if the person isn't even Mexican.

I've not got any real issue if WWE wants to put Kidd under a mask and while this might be considered nitpicking, I'm just not that wild about WWE making a Canadian wrestler play as if he's from Mexico if they're not able to actually put in an effort to convince us he MIGHT be Mexican. For instance, if Kidd can fluently speak & understand Spanish, I think that'd be acceptable. Otherwise, I think it's a genuine insult to people's intelligence.

I think Kidd is so technically proficient....the other guys probably love working with him because he's so good at making them look good.....that it's hurt his chances of having stuff written special for him.

In the earliest days of Sin Cara, the assignment given his opponents was to make Sin look good, which isn't an easy task. Tyson Kidd did it better than anyone I'd seen, timing those wild, stupid flying maneuvers and making it seem as if tactics like that could actually work in a shoot match.

Tyson's reward for being so good?.... Vince McMahon probably took him aside, put an arm over Kidd's shoulder and said: "Stick with it, Tyson. Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll have a job here as an enhancement talent for the next 10 years."

And never is heard a discouraging word.

Here's the thing.

Tyson Kidd is an AMAZING technical wrestler. If you want to see an awesome wrestling match you watch a Tyson Kidd match (provided it isn't on Raw or Smackdown because he gets booked as a bitch on those shows and will probably lose in 2 seconds). But you watch him in any match in NXT and it's great.

He DOES have ability on the mic and charisma but I think the WWE has not let him shine on the main roster. They haven't given him a fair chance.

I hope this stint down in NXT for him will help changes the big honchos mind for the main roster and he'll get a push when he gets back on the main roster.

I think a good idea would be for him and Justin Gabriel to reform International Air Strike tag team. There is still a need for more tag teams and forming a tag team would be a good way to get back into it and eventually get maybe a US or IC title shot.

Face it. Tyson Kidd will likely never get to the Main Event level because of his size. Maybe if he is really, really lucky the fans will get behind him like Daniel Bryan but if he stays in the mid-card for his career and wins a few US or IC titles then I'd call it a big success.
