Pretty interesting list. I agree with many of the top 10 picks but not all of them. I certainly don't agree with Sam Weir from Freaks & Geeks being in the top 10. While I know a cult following flat out WORSHIPPED the show, they only made 18 episodes of the show. As a result, I don't see how the character could rank higher than characters that people have watched for years, even decades, that have become pop culture icons like Laura Ingalls, Marcia Brady, Stewie Griffin or any number of others that made the top 60.

I believe the same thing as it pertains to Angela Chase from My So-Called Life. She's ranked #3 on the list even though the show lasted 19 episodes back in the mid 90s but she's ranked higher than the likes of Bart Simpson and Arnold Jackson? Well hey, I guess TV Guide is entitled to it's opinion but I think that's just flat out wrong. Now I know that the fact that Freaks & Geeks and My So-Called Life had very short runs isn't the end all, be all but I don't see how it doesn't warrant much more merit than what TV Guide used in determining the list.
