Triple H Raw Announcement

So Triple H just announced on Smackdown that on Raw he will be announcing something that will shake WWE to it's core. What do you guys think it will be? I'm guessing it's simply going to be a third wrestler added to the WM main event match, however effecting something to it's core sounds a lot bigger than simply changing one match. One match is only a part of the whole which makes me wonder what it could be.

Any guesses?

Nope, Triple H said WWE doesn't like being told what to do. They need to stick by Reigns and the sour grapes crowd needs to stick it up their ass. I hope Bryan goes 6 feet under tonight.

They might do something to threaten Reigns...erm, reign. "You have to defeat *insert whoever* in order to retain your rumble spot".

At least Reigns got a mixed reception and seemed to be TRYING to do some more stuff...didn't always work out. But there is a chance he can recover before mania, without turning heel or anything.

He is going to pull off a mask and reveal himself to be Dixie Carter.

I am going to lead to something we already knew like the Sting encounter at Fast Lane or WWE Network for free. Maybe it is something to do with giving Rollins another shot at the title only to be interrupted by Orton (or did Orton pop up tonight?) Maybe in order to get Justin Gabriel back HHH is reforming everyone's favorite faction, The Core!

All that is definite is that many people on the internet will complain if it starts the show and lasts what feels like 20 minutes.

I'm going with MartialHorror. I think that's the easiest "solution". How effective? I don't know, I think it all depends on Roman's performance. However, we did get the hint that Roman might be stripped off his title opportunity.

could it be Daniel bryan vs roman reigns at fast lane? or Daniel bryan vs brock lesnar at fast lane? Who knows but with the rumor of Daniel bryan vs dolph ziggler at wrestlemania, I am pretty sure roman reigns will stay in the main event of wrestlemania. Who knows perhaps we will get a new title exclusive for smackdown?

Its likely to be H announcing Reigns vs. Show at Fast Lane w/the chance Reigns is out at WM.

Or it could be the return of WCW if Sting beats H at WM. Yeah right.

my best guess is that firstly, Bryan won't be added to the main event. i know many don't want it, but for me, i wouldn't hate it just because it would be great to see Bryan at least in the match, BUT i don't see it happening because i don't think WWE thinks Bryan's money and i see him NEVER winning the WWE title ever again. if he ever wins the title, i will be the most shocked person alive because i don't see WWE EVER giving him a title run again.....i want him to win the WWE title and have a REAL run with it, but it won't happen.

Secondly, my guess is that the announcement will likely be some type of either handicap match, tag match or one-on-one match vs. either Kane and Big Show or just the Big Show. i hope that's not the announcement, but i doubt Triple H will please the crowd by having Bryan vs. Reigns or Bryan vs. Lesnar....ANOTHER guess is Rollins could be put into a match against Reigns at Fast Lane....if that's the announcement, i won't hate it. Reigns vs. Rollins at Fast Lane for the WWE title match would be great to see.

I just don't want Bryan in the Main Event at Wrestlemania now because forcing him in that match for two years in a row will get old. Wrestlemania XXX was special for how that worked out. Give Bryan another, real title reign, but don't repeat the same corrections to already repeated mistakes.

I honestly hope it's more than just a match announcement. That is definitely not a "shake to the core" announcement. In my opinion, "to the core" means that it drastically changes the entire landscape of whatever is the context. So in this case the WWE as a whole. I have a funny feeling I am going to be severely let down.

I think it will have to do with a match between HHH and Sting at Wrestlemania 31 for control of WWE. If it is not that then maybe adding Seth to the Championship match at Wrestlemania 31. What I hope is it will have to do with the Andre the giant memorial battle royal, the winner gets a future title shot or gets to be in the Championship match later that night.

Although a match between Trips and Sting for control of WWE would be pretty interesting, why would he just randomly bring it on himself? He's the one making the announcement. Why would he essentially put himself in a dire predicament? There would need to be something else big that happens prior to that.

Well with the streak ends during the last Wrestlemania, maybe he's going to announce that The Undertaker will host Wrestlemania 31!!

Personally, I'd like the announcement to just be simply, "If you don't like what you see, go fuck yourself." At least with the Philly crowd the reaction was legitimate. That I can respect. The fans in the crowd tonight in Hartford were so disingenuous it wasn't even funny. For example, though the crowd was split for Roman, they were still louder overall than they were for Daniel Bryan. Fucking marks.

I'm thinking that maybe they'll have some sort of match to determine a third entrant into the match at Mania which is cool, I suppose. Daniel can only make the match better if they were to go that route. Personally, I'd rather they just stay the course. Bryan getting his moment has already been done before. It can be done again and I'm sure it will, but to me, Reigns vs. Lesnar is a more intriguing story right now.

One thought I had (as crazy as it may sound) was the possibly of splitting the two brands once again. Yeah I know that the title just got unified into one championship but that was during Brock's Run. His run will soon come to an end. If not having 2 main championships than perhaps just have the mid card titles exclusive on the Smackdown Brand. I'm not sure. WHen I hear shaking things to the core it reminds me of when they used to have the draft lottery to "shake things up" It could play up as well to Sting vs HHH for control of the company. I guess I'll have to tune in Monday.

this will probably sounds stupid, but i feel that he will announce that Lesnar has resigned with WWE, that certainly will shake the core because everybody already asume that lesnar is leaving after WM.

I want to see this very match for reaction alone, Trips is a bad guy, but at the same time fans begging for him to take over, so if there is Vince in Sting's corner, fans will think twice who they cheer for - good guy Sting or Triple H as chairman.

Well since WWE are the king of hyperbole, I would certainly take the whole "shake to the core" stuff with a massive grain of salt.

I will say this though, I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the WM main event. I'm not a fan of how things have been handled, at all. That said, WWE made their bed and now they have to lay in it. If they can find a way to make this work, great. If they can't? Oh well.

This has been discussed to death, but it was an absolutely stupid decision to announced Bryan's return for the Rumble, if they knew he wasn't going to win. Anyone with a brain could see that a beloved wrestler returning after a career threatening injury, the week before a show that he was screwed out of a year prior was going to be the favorite to win. They put Reigns in a position to fail, and now it is their job to overcome that and find a way to get him over.

On a related note, I've seen it mentioned many times that Heyman should align himself with Reigns and screw Lesnar. I don't want to see that at all.

The roster has so little depth as is that there is no way the current WWE could sustain two separate brands. I loved when Raw and Smackdown when they were separate but it just wouldn't work right now.
