TNA with the 2

ForzaItalia

Layeth The Smackdown!
Now, obviously TNA would really have to work their asses off to get a rating like a 2.0. It would take time, but with what I have seen from the TNA product lately has really surprised me. MCMG and Beer Money had 5 of the greatest tag matches in history. The invasion of Fortune was a pretty cool idea too. With that being said if TNA were to ever score a 2.0 rating or higher would Vince take TNA seriously? More importantly would you as a WWE fan including myself take TNA seriously because TNA has not been that bad except for Hardcore Justice.

i love tna i think there doing just fine. i wish they would go back to the 6 sided ring but hey what can u do right. now when i 1st watched tna on the debut on spike tv a few years back. i couldnt get into it cuz i was a hardcore fan of the wwe but no that the pg era took over i love tna cuz the matches i get to see are way better

The key word ther is IF, SD struggles to get 2.0 rating's sometimes I doubt TNA will and if it does happen something will have to drastically change from what is going on now. However if by some mirical it did happen then yes I think Vince would start to take them more seriously and yes I certainly would take TNA more seriously.

I think it would take TNA scoring a 2.0 rating for an extended period of time (say 6 months in succession) before Vince would even raise an eyebrow. WWE is consistently in the low 3's and that doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon. When they put off what should be considered to be a better show, or when they put off one of their more lacklustre efforts, their rating doesn't seem to fluctuate too much. So even if TNA were to pull a miracle and start scoring consistent 2's they would still be well behind WWE and no real threat to them, but would probably be worthy of taking notice.

Hard to discuss such hypotheticals, though, as we all know TNA are worlds away from scoring a 2.0 even once, never mind for an extended period of time. And if they are banking on EV2.0 to boost their ratings to such lofty levels, they're delusional. I mean, after all, TNA is not even ready for the immortal Paul Heyman :), how can they ever aspire to achieve greatness without this (over-rated) mastermind at the helm?
