Eugh, to an extent this reminds me of when Morrison moved to RAW from SD a couple of years ago. On the blue show he was starting to build a lot of momentum for himself, even cutting promos too would you believe! Then he gets traded and his momentum evaporated and it took a few months to build him up again.
Initially, I didn't like Dolph, just couldn't see the appeal.
Slowly but surely he made more and more of an impression on me, and when he started feuding with Edge I thought, great, they've built this guy up for a while and are now starting to push him into the main event. Then that got ballsed up so badly with the minor title reign culminating in him getting moved to RAW.
So now he's on a show where he's behind a host of guys getting more time, instead of when he was on Smackdown nearly always near the top of the card, and the main feature that made him stand out is gone, and Vickie is in a less significant position.
At this point, it's hard to see his turning face regaining the momentum he built up on Smackdown. Mikeyado mentioned them having the perfect opportunity to do so on Smackdown with Kaitlyn, and the end result was so poor. There were a few times where they could have tested the waters to see what the crowd reaction would be if he were face, but instead he went backwards. Staying with Vickie didn't make him more of a heel, it just made him look pussy-whipped.
I feel bad for the guy, he has talent in the ring but the change in look hasn't helped, and now creative need to think of a good feud for him to become relevant again first before either keeping him heel or turning him face.
