What are people's first thoughts on this? With the rest in pieces bit, I was thinking of Undertaker/Kane.

I think they're hyping Kane's return to be honest. Anytime Rest in peace is involved it's always been one of the Brothers of Destruction. Considering that all the pieces are bright red and appear that when put together make Kane I can only assume that quite frankly it is Kane. As for his return I'm super excited. Although I feel like he may come back a heel.

I believe and hope that kane comes back as a sosiopathic heel. He would serve under Bray Wyatt. With the direction this is going a Wyatt Family and Kane vs Undertaker match at WMXXX would be the right choice. Both have similar entrances(darkness) and both have the erry precense. Imagine if Taker lost and Bray Wyatt is the next paul bearer. Maybe but probably not. All in all, this kane is comming back as the see no evil killer and Undertaker will face him and the wyatts in the near future, guarenteed!!!!. Sorry no Lesnar vs Taker

But yeah, I'm pretty sure this is meant for Kane. Red is his fashionable apparel. I'm wondering if they'll give him a new look or if he's sticking with his current one. I don't think The Undertaker would ever go this approach. Ever.

The red is clearly his face paint, or is a tribute to his red nWo days. And he is using twitter because he's been associated with Dixie Carter for the last few years.

Or it's just another Undertaker return with no particular meaning or purpose.

Well i also think its the return of Kane! Kane has been off for a while now,and this current Kane has been rather lame. I hope the heel Kane as we all know returns. The Wyatt Family really messed him up. The Kane i like is the one with the full mask,voice box,and harder than hell to bring down. Remember when it took three tombstones to just barely beat Kane at WM14?

If you take a close look at those pieces it sort of looks like CM Punks logo. Black Red and White. Maybe there is a hint of Taker vs Punk 2 at WM 30, which I as many others wouldn't agree they want that again for the 30th WM. WWE will probably swerve everyone and it wont have anything to do with Taker or Kane.

Punk vs Taker 2 won't be happening at Mania XXX. The beauty of the first match was in the fact that we knew Punk would lose but how and how great the match was is the story.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that the tweet is for the return of not only Kane, but Taker. What I'd like to see is Kane comes down to confront Wyatt, lights turn out, Taker appears, they scrap with the Wyatts and the music hits for the Shield, since they took out Taker. See a triple threat elimination tag match at Mania, which can lead into a feud between the Wyatts and the Shield.

Well at least this time we know it's either Kane or Undertaker, so that saves everybody from getting excited or getting their hopes up about it being Sting or some other guy from another company, only to be disappointed when they see it's not like so many times in the past when we've gotten these cryptic tweets and it turned out to be Taker or Jericho.

I've never known Kane to use "Rest In Peace", well I have heard him say it a couple of times but it's Taker's catchphrase, so I'm gonna assume it's him and he's coming after The Shield. As for the picture, I'll also assume that's part of the Battleground poster since the poster is red, black and white, and Taker might return at the PPV to cost The Shield their match (and probably tag titles) against The Rhodes or The Usos, leading to some match at Hell in a Cell or Survivor Series. If Taker is retiring soon, maybe he wants to have one last match at the PPV he debuted at, Survivor Series, and they could also use his appearance on the show to set up Taker/Lesnar or Ryback for Wrestlemania. I really don't expect Taker to return without getting his revenge on the guys who put him out. Apart from The Nexus, I can't recall a time Taker ever returned without getting his revenge on the person or persons who put him on the shelf.

Whether it's Kane or Taker, neither get me excited but I'd rather this turn out to be Taker more than Kane since he's been out a lot longer.

To me it looks like Kane's original mask mixed with Daniel Bryan's shirt. What if Bryan won the title and his "old friend" Kane came back 2 haunt him. It would be a nice feud to kill time for whatever they have planned after Rumble and it would put Bryan more over and get Kane back 2 where he belongs. Relevant again.

I'm glad that I wasn't the only one to think this. I was genuinely going to put a similar statemenet into my post, but wanted to see what people thought first.

I agree though, CM Punk / Taker wouldn't make sense, unless they want to genuinely finish Undertaker off with a loss (please don't!) to CM Punk, and Punk then cements his place as "best in the world".

I think it's more a Kane thing, and I hope it is.

I hope it's Sting, but the only problem I have with that is he won't have his awesome TNA theme, Lights go out and that shit plays and I get really HYPED. I don't think it's Kane because they are not gonna hype his debut it's gonna be a surprise from out of no where and he will turn to join the Wyatts. If it is Taker I don't get the red cause that's never been his colors. As for Punk why would they tease a guy who is still actively competing. I honestly could also see Ohno cause he knocks people out so that could be the souls beneath his feet.

I really don't think it's Kane, since the storyline is that the Wyatts kidnapped him and are keeping him somewhere. Wouldn't make sense to have WWE hype his return, since the Wyatts are their own men and make their own decision when he's brainwashed enough to return under their command. I also don't think it's Taker because I think the pieces make a picture or drawing or something of the person that's debuting/returning and Taker has nothing to do with white/red. Quite honestly, I haven't got a clue who it is, which makes it more fun when it happens, I think.

The last I heard a few weeks ago on Barrett was that he was stuck in England trying to sort his work visa out.

As everyones said, it probably is Kane, but they've only just started shooting See No Evil 2 this week, so surely he won't be back still for a couple of months?

My initial thought was Undertaker/Kane, as the colours fit with Kane and the quote is 'Taker-like, but as Kane is filming See No Evil 2 at the moment, and that has only just got underway I don't see how it can be him. Plus, as The Wyatt's are supposed to have kidnapped him it seems a bit silly that WWE would promote his return with cryptic tweets.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was The Dead Man, but the colour red isnt linked with him at all and his return promos are usually alot more linked to his "undead" persona.

This is interesting and could be anyone? What about the Ascension from NXT, or a new debuting character. It's intrigued me thats for certain.

Very cool. Another cryptic WWE message. These always seem to get the Universe riled up.

It's obviously a gimmick character. Something to do with darkness. I think many of the responses so far could be possibilities. Something to do with the Wyatt Family, Kane, Undertaker, even the Ascension. One thing is definitely for sure. It's NOT Sting.

My guess would have to be Kane. My runner up is the debut of the Ascension. With an influx of tag teams (Wyatts, The Shield, PTP, Usos, Los Matadores, The Real Americans, Tons of Funk, 3MB... to name most of them), I don't think that another tag team is a bad thing. The Ascension have a pretty cool thing going on, and Conor O'Brien can be down right creepy at times. With the debut of thy Wyatt Family recently, I'm not sure right now is the right time to debut another creepy, dark tag team/stable. It's way too soon. And let's face it... The Wyatt Family is WAY better than the Ascension.

By logical thought process, I'm going with the return of Kane in a month or so. These vignettes will air for a month, month and a half, and we'll see Kane again. Hopefully, he'll be a member of the Wyatt Family. Bray could use another monster. One with a little more credibility. Not that Harper and Rowan aren't badass enough... but Kane is Kane. Simple as that.
