It's a gimmick match too, so I don't think it's the cake walk you're thinking it will be. If Malenko draws submission match or 2 out of 3 falls, he's very capable of taking down Angle.

Sam try to find some Malenko matches in WCW, they were awesome, particularly any with Rey Mysterio and the Benoit match at Road Wild. The guy was an animal in the ring. Almost any move Benoit through on Malenko, it was countered.

I started watching that one, I think. Wasn't it called Hog Wild though? Something was on telly anyway, so I stopped watching after five minutes. First impressions? Pretty good.

It was Hog Wild and I think Harley Davidson filed some legal things agains WCW, so they changed it to Road wild, I think. But yeah, that match was awesome. It's a tossup for me really, I don't think you can go wrong with either Malenko or Angle. Malenko did win PWI wrestler of the year in 1997, and PWI is a kayfabe magazine so that says a ton.
