The Official LOLWWE Thread

Evan Bourne wasn't the only one who "should" have been suspended according to reports by The Wrestling Observer newsletter.

It is believed that Bourne was suspended for violating the company's wellness policy courtesy of smoking fake marijuana, believed to be Spice. The word going around in WWE is that Bourne used the drug at a party with other WWE talents who were using it as well. The talents on the roster who also smoked the fake marijuana are said to be higher up on the roster.

Internal talks have been on the fact that a mid-carder gets suspended for doing something that a main eventer does for which he/she is not punished.

I am fairly confident at least some part of this is funny.

Fuck Jim Ross, either he doesnt care or he's a glutton for punishment, either way I dont give a shit

If he feels that way, he doesn't have to do it. Seen as he does, Jim Ross clearly understands the concept of fiction.

It's not like this is a book or a movie. He's actually dancing like a complete cunt live in front of an audience of millions, portraying a character or not.

Certainly, he never dismissed WCW's Oklahoma as mere fiction.

And he was paid to do it. Pay me what the WWE pays Jim Ross, and I would do it too. If you aren't willing to make fun of yourself first, you have no right to make fun of anyone else.

Jim Ross is agreeing to do things like the Michael Cole Challenge. He didn't agree to Ocklahoma.

Consent is important.

That skit was annoying and an embarrassing to watch to be honest. But I give both men props for doing what they did in front of 15,000 people. I for one do not have the courage or balls to do that.

Whether it is about money or what not they're both paid to play there parts and both men played it well. The money they must make more than likely makes up for the act they did last night. I am sure they didn't care much of it either way. So kudos to them.

Also, what is up with The Rock being the most electrifying man in "entertainment?" WWE does not want to say the word "sport" or "sports" anymore? Pretty fucked up.

I hate the defense of "well fuck him, it's his own fault for continually taking it." Because while it's true to an extent, that's like saying "fuck kids who get picked on at school because they still keep going to school." They still treat the guy like shit for no other reason than the fact that he's an easy target and he'll keep agreeing.

I agree that he should grow a set one of these days and tell Vince to fuck off, but the idea that JR deserves it because he does what the company wants him to do is dumb.

There are a couple of problems with Cole right now. And him being bad at his job is not one of them, because he plays the character extremely well.

One, he's the lead play by play announcer on Raw and PPVs. Your lead play by play announcer really should not be an obnoxious heel. If they're going to keep him this way (which they've made it clear that they are), either bring JR back full time or have Mathews do both shows again. It's okay to have a heel color guy, as that's proven to have worked in the past. Which is part of why I enjoy Cole a lot more on SmackDown than I do on Raw.

Two, he never gets his proper comeuppance. All he's done for the past year is rag on the faces and pick on his fellow announcers whenever he gets the chance, every week, for four hours a week. And I can count on one hand the number of times he's gotten his ass handed to him for it. If JR had won the challenge and made Cole look like an idiot, then I'd be fine. But Cole having the last laugh all the time is just really stupid.

Haha, no. That's an awful comparison. First of all, what evidence is there that Jim Ross is being bullied? None. Secondly, the kid has to, by law, go to school. Ross doesn't have to work for WWE. Thirdly, Ross is a very smart man - he knows what he's doing. Where as the child is just a child.

You keep blaming the company and painting the WWE as bullies. Have you ever thought that Ross might just enjoy it. Have you ever thought that Ross may just like performing for the crowd? Watch the segment back. Does he look uncomfortable? No, he looks like he's enjoying himself, and the fans are enjoying it too.

Leave it to WWE to promote subliminal infidelity!

At least Cole is a much better character, draws more heat, and can talk rather coherently for four hours every week without actually losing track of what he's saying.
