You know what, i really don't care if you respect me... I have enough people on here that respect me all ready... It was a great wrestling match, but had no story... okay. So wrestling matches can't be classic k.

Fair enough. I just thought that you would like to know that I do respect you and your opinion, whether you care or not is of no importance to me. Wrestling matches can be classic, but stories can make them even better. IMO HBK/Cena was great, by far the best match of that WM, but it wasn't on par with something that I consider to be classic. You might have a different take on what a classic is and if you do then cool.

??? an your point is? Cena returning wasn't epic? :lmao: really ask anyone here...

It was a huge suprise and great to watch, but it wasn't a pivital moment in wrestling history. I'm not going to look back on that 5 years from now and say, that was classic.

I'm being difficult... nope, just stating my opinion, if you don't like it, tough....

Sorry, I love reading your opinion, sorry if you don't like mine.

Wow, I have to give you credit you are a brilliant mind... :worship:....

Thanks, you know, I try. I always said, I would make a great wrestling heel.

:lmao: sorry.... You have the closes thing to proof???? So your opinion is proof now? You stated your opinion on the video. We stated ours. You're the only one that agrees with your opinion... Takerfan you really are making me laugh now....

I stated my opinion on what the video meant, is that what you are trying to say? So we can't take HBK's words as literal can we? I guess we would need HBK to flat out say, "I carried his bitch ass in that match and that's that." That probably wouldn't work for you either would it?

I do try to make people laugh, but it seems to me that you are taking this a little personal. You need to calm down, its just a debate.

Let me just kill this argument, because we can go on and on about both Taker's and Cena's qualities in and out of the ring. Let's make this clear...

TAKER>CENA

Can't hold a fucking candle to Taker. Sorry, maybe in ten years, but the influence and respect that the Phenom had earned in 20 years is untouchable.

Fin.

Wait... I don't think anyone on this thread did... hmm nice try but make sure you read everything before you say your going to end an argument....

Thanks then...

Wait so are you saying a match by itself can't be a classic? I know that stories make matches better. That's what I was saying earlier when you were telling me that those "matches" were great. When in fact it was the stories that made them into what they were.

It was a huge suprise and great to watch, but it wasn't a pivital moment in wrestling history. I'm not going to look back on that 5 years from now and say, that was classic.

Wait, it was huge, and was great to watch. So it's those, but it's not vital to the wrestling so it's not classic? hmm.. i don't know what I think about that. While I see your point I think that it's classic moment for one reason. The face of the company return when everyone least expected him to. No one was expecting Cena to come out and enter the rumble. It's kinda like when Triple h returned in 02. difference being everyone knew it was going to happen, but it was still huge. Remember that pop? Cena got the same thing.

Sorry, I love reading your opinion, sorry if you don't like mine.

While there are times that I think I'm going to go nuts on you. I enjoy reading your post.

Thanks, you know, I try. I always said, I would make a great wrestling heel.

hmmm... maybe...

I stated my opinion on what the video meant, is that what you are trying to say? So we can't take HBK's words as literal can we? I guess we would need HBK to flat out say, "I carried his bitch ass in that match and that's that." That probably wouldn't work for you either would it?

All hbk said was if the match went bad it was going to be on him. Just like if Cena couldn't get a good match out of Miz or Swagger it was going to be on him. Does that mean that he carried him? No... Look at the matches Cena had with both Swagger and Miz who did the majority of the work in the match? The other guys. Does that mean that they carried him? No it doesn't. It's the job of the older wrestler to pull the younger guys up to their level to perform. HBK did it with Cena just as Cena did with the others. Does that mean that they had to carry the match no. It means that those guys have to make sure nothing goes wrong.

I do try to make people laugh, but it seems to me that you are taking this a little personal. You need to calm down, its just a debate.

I'm not taking it personally i just find some of the things you say funny. I'm calm did you not read half of my last post I was laugh all through it... lol

Did anyone else catch Cena on Raw? Gah........he pisses me off so much. Orton and Cena were dominated that entire match and then Cena get's the tag, comes in, hits him five moves and wins. That is what I am talking about when it comes to Cena. It was so predictable and lame. It is getting to where I can't stand to watch his matches anymore. SS is going to happen the same way, if he wins and even if he doesn't, it is going to happen that way, just with a random RKO out of nowhere.

Did anyone else catch Cena on Raw? Gah........he pisses me off so much.

Hm... is someone upset again?

Orton and Cena were dominated that entire match and then Cena get's the tag, comes in, hits him five moves and wins.

Remember that psychology that I told you about? I give you yet another exhibit to add to my list. Another thing to note. Have you watched anyone's matches with the Show lately? He normally dominates. If you're mad at anyone be mad at Show for being so "DOMINATE" :lmao: Last thing. I'm pretty sure you've heard of a "hot tag." Which means you would know that normally is where the match is going to end. Also when the face gets it He's going to come into the match and hit them with his best. If you don't believe me go back and look at some tag matches from the past.

That is what I am talking about when it comes to Cena.

Really? What exactly?

It was so predictable and lame.

Oh, I see, what about Big show and his "DOMINATE" ways? Are they not predictable? If that was lame then I guess tag team wrestling is predictable and lame. Aw now you've ruined that for me too... Thanks... Oh one other thing... what about Cena getting RKO'd after he won? Dang I've seen that so many times... It's becoming predictable.... Maybe Orton need's to stop acting like a heel and shake his hand...:lmao:

It is getting to where I can't stand to watch his matches anymore.

So don't... At least don't constantly complain about it.

SS is going to happen the same way, if he wins and even if he doesn't, it is going to happen that way, just with a random RKO out of nowhere.

Did you start booking for wwe? If not let's wait for the match to happen.... how bout that?

Hm... is someone upset again?

A little frustrated, yea.

What psychology? All that did was show everyone that the superstar of the year for 2008 could be beat by five moves after having little to know damage done to him at all. Of course I've heard of a hot tag, it happens in every single tag team match.

Really? What exactly?

Stale and predictable move set.

Oh, I see, what about Big show and his "DOMINATE" ways? Are they not predictable? If that was lame then I guess tag team wrestling is predictable and lame.

Big Show is the largest person on the roster. If he comes out and doesn't dominate, then we have a problem. His moves still aren't as predictable as Cena's are, even though we know he is going to dominate. Tag team wrestling is predictable and alot of tag matches are lame. It has been a very long time since I have seen a quality tag team match.

Aw now you've ruined that for me too... Thanks...

Good, I'm glad I ruined it for you.

Oh one other thing... what about Cena getting RKO'd after he won? Dang I've seen that so many times... It's becoming predictable.... Maybe Orton need's to stop acting like a heel and shake his hand...:lmao:

Come on, that is classic heel move. We knew that something like that was going to happen. If it didn't, then that would have been a shock. Maybe they should've shook hands and then have Orton beat the hell out of him when they shake hands. That would have been better.

So don't... At least don't constantly complain about it.

Again, I pay to watch it so I am going to complain as long as I have a forum to do so.

Did you start booking for wwe? If not let's wait for the match to happen.... how bout that?

Fair enough, but when it does happen, I am going to reference this post and say, "I told you so!"

A little frustrated, yea.

well i hope I didn't add to it....

What psychology? All that did was show everyone that the superstar of the year for 2008 could be beat by five moves after having little to know damage done to him at all. Of course I've heard of a hot tag, it happens in every single tag team match.

Good you've heard of a hot tag, then you know that it doesn't matter who's in. The fresh face is going to come in and end the match. That's what happens. See I don't get it... If this was anyone but Cena you wouldn't have said anything...

Stale and predictable move set.

Big Shows isn't? If you really get down to it. Everyone on the Roster has the same move set. We've all seen them before so get over it.

Big Show is the largest person on the roster. If he comes out and doesn't dominate, then we have a problem. His moves still aren't as predictable as Cena's are, even though we know he is going to dominate. Tag team wrestling is predictable and alot of tag matches are lame. Yeah Show's dominate... Let's see what exactly does Show do that he hasn't done for the past 10 years? oh that's right he started punching people last year... Thanks.

Good, I'm glad I ruined it for you.

MEANY!!!! :nugget: just as I thought we were going to be friends....

Come on, that is classic heel move. We knew that something like that was going to happen. If it didn't, then that would have been a shock. Maybe they should've shook hands and then have Orton beat the hell out of him when they shake hands. That would have been better.

Yes, yes it is a classic heel move. Just as a hot tag is a classic tag move where the fresh guy comes in and dominates and ends the match... thanks come again.

Again, I pay to watch it so I am going to complain as long as I have a forum to do so.

Fine....

Fair enough, but when it does happen, I am going to reference this post and say, "I told you so!"

ok.... if you want to... I really won't care. Why? because Cena most likely will be champ, which will make my day because he's a whole lot better than Orton as champ.

well i hope I didn't add to it....

Nope, debating with you calms me down.

Good you've heard of a hot tag, then you know that it doesn't matter who's in. The fresh face is going to come in and end the match. That's what happens. See I don't get it... If this was anyone but Cena you wouldn't have said anything...

Not all of the time. Yes, we know that the fresh face is going to come in and go on an offensive run, but not exactly end the match. WWE is trying to make Jericho and Big Show a credible tag team and it didn't do them any favors jobbing to Orton and Cena like that. It was ridiculous. I think that all tag matches have become predictable and lame and if we had a forum on other people involved in a tag match, I would say the exact same thing. Cena doesn't get special hate from me, I dish it out equally.

Big Shows isn't? If you really get down to it. Everyone on the Roster has the same move set. We've all seen them before so get over it.

Ahh the circle continues. We have all seen them before, but all Cena does is his signatures. If we are lucky, however, we might see some transition moves from him. Other superstars do more than just signatures.

Yeah Show's dominate... Let's see what exactly does Show do that he hasn't done for the past 10 years? oh that's right he started punching people last year... Thanks.

You left out the camel clutch and the spear:).........silly.

MEANY!!!! :nugget: just as I thought we were going to be friends....

Don't take it personally. I still want to be friends.

Yes, yes it is a classic heel move. Just as a hot tag is a classic tag move where the fresh guy comes in and dominates and ends the match... thanks come again.

Hot tag or no hot tag. It made the "TAG TEAM CHAMPS," look like week ass mid carders. It was stupid to have them lose so easily just because it is Cena.

Good.....

ok.... if you want to... I really won't care. Why? because Cena most likely will be champ, which will make my day because he's a whole lot better than Orton as champ.

God I hope Cena isn't champ. Not because of my, "Blind Hate," as you like to put it, but because, if he wins, it will continue their feud for at least another month as Orton will get his rematch and I don't know about you, but I am all HHH/Orton, or Cena/Orton'd out at this point. I want to see something else.

Nope, debating with you calms me down.

Sweet!

Here's where i disagree with you. Jericho and Big show are already a credible tag team. Look they've already beat some of the best tag teams in wwe. So question, you would have had Jericho and Show go over? How logical is that for wwe? Let's have our main event for the second biggest show of the year lose the week before the ppv. Yeah great choice there.

Ahh the circle continues. We have all seen them before, but all Cena does is his signatures. If we are lucky, however, we might see some transition moves from him. Other superstars do more than just signatures.

Darn I new i forgot something!

Ok...

Hot tag or no hot tag. It made the "TAG TEAM CHAMPS," look like week ass mid carders. It was stupid to have them lose so easily just because it is Cena.

Um... they didn't lose easily. They dominated the whole match. Sorry it was a hot tag Cena got the win.

I doubt that it will go another month. I don't see this feud going past Breaking point or whatever. Why? because they want Triple h and Orton at hell in a cell. Makes sense. That way Cena can get in a fresh feud.

Yep, you make my day.

How are they credible? Who have they beaten that is a top tag team? I don't consider any team that they have beaten to be established and the only thing that they can use as credible is their past titles. Yes, it would have been logical for Jericho and Show to beat Orton and Cena because Jericho and Show are a tag team and it would have given them steam. It wouldn't have hurt Orton or Cena at all. They could have used they fact that they couldn't get along as the reason that they lost. It would have helped more for Show and Jericho to win because IMO, it made them look weak.

So you say. What does Taker do that isn't a signature move?

You still get to see some random suplexes and submissions from 'Taker, like a dragon sleeper or something and you damn sure see alot more transistion wrestling from 'Taker than you do Cena.

Darn I new i forgot something!

You are silly:lol:

Yep

Um... they didn't lose easily. They dominated the whole match. Sorry it was a hot tag Cena got the win.

Maybe they didn't lose easily but the damn ending was weak and it made them look weak. "Oh look, we can dominate the champ and number one contender all match and then get five moves put on us and lose, without any damage at all, oh yea, we are the tag team champs."

I doubt that it will go another month. I don't see this feud going past Breaking point or whatever. Why? because they want Triple h and Orton at hell in a cell. Makes sense. That way Cena can get in a fresh feud.

You can doubt it all you want, but if Cena wins the match, their feud will continue because Orton will have his rematch, and it will be an endless circle. I am tired of Orton/Cena and Orton/HHH and I hope to god HHH doesn't fight Orton again for a long damn time. C'mon, you have to be tired of it aswell. You just have to be.

And that's fa dam sure. I'm so sick of seeing Orton/Cena Orton/HHH. Orton is too talented to keep up with this stale feud. The matches are always good, quality wise, but it's becoming boring. Orton vs Jack Swagger or MVP would be somethin' I'd tune in to watch. Orton's last match with MVP on RAW a while back was very, very well done. It felt so new. And Jack Swagger teased at a good fight when Orton had to go against all those heels in that Gauntlet match, where all the heels besides Mark Henry gave Orton the pass, lmao.

I can understand people being tired of Orton/HHH but not of Orton/Cena. They haven't faced one-on-one I believe in almost 18 months. Their feud is still incomplete because John Cena got injured October 2007. They haven't done this one to death like they did with HHH. Cena is the top face of the company while Orton is the top heel. This should be a great feud that probably won't last as long as it should because Hell in a Cell is just around the corner and they want to have Orton/HHH for the last time.

MVP is not ready for the main event yet. He hasn't done anything since coming to RAW. Miz could use the United States Title to boost him up even more. The only ones I consider would be Swagger and Kofi and if Swagger wins, it is likely that Cena will win so we can possibly get a Swagger/Cena feud which I will be looking forward to.

I don't care if they have faced one on one or not. We have seen them in plenty of triple threat matches and tag matches and such since 2007 and I am tired of seeing them two together. Just because your hero is involved in the story doesn't make it any less stale or boring than if it were someone else working an endless program with Orton.

Well I guess you better watch a different sport because they are going to be together for a long time. They're right around 30 so they have plenty of years left. Their matches in the past have been good and I expect nothing less from them this time around.

What's will all these assumptions and implications around here? Find somewhere where I said John Cena is my hero. You won't find it. Strike one.

Fine. I know that they will work together again in the future, but for right now it has been played out and I am sick of seeing it. You may not be ready for something new and fresh, but I certainly am. I wouldn't even care if Cena was the champ. If he was the Champ going into this match, I would want him to win, just so the feud would be over. If Cena does win, however, I hope to god that their rematch is on Raw tomorrow or next week or something, just to kill this pointless endless feud.

Strike one? Here, I will go ahead and strike out for you. He's your hero, he's your hero. I just assumed, you know, as much as you seem to go to bat for him and defend him with such conviction. IDC if you said it or not, you sure act like it.

Who said I didn't want to see something new and fresh. It will all come in due time. People want to rush and rush things and when they don't work out they still complain. You can't become a main eventer just like that.

How is this feud pointless and endless when to my knowledge it's only been going on for no less than an month and they haven't even fought yet. If less than a month is an endless feud than I hate to know what the 2 year HHH/HBK feud was.

Defending Cena and proving people wrong doesn't make him my hero. It makes me prove people wrong.

I'm not necessarily saying bring someone up to ME status. Where did I say that? We can stand to see a new feud in the ME on Raw though.

Just because they haven't fought one on one doesn't mean that their feud wasn't still going on. You are going to tell me that all the times that Legacy attacked Cena, the triple threat matches, and everything else that they have been involved with, that their feud wasn't going on? Crazy point of view you have. Fact is that their feud has either been going on directly or indirectly since Orton has been in the title picture and it is old and boring just like HHH/HBK was at the end, just like HHH/Orton is now.

Defending Cena and proving people wrong doesn't make him my hero. It makes me prove people wrong.

Where have you proven me wrong, please tell me. Where has anything but opinion been offered in this thread(except the video that I provided)? I'm dying to know when you proved me wrong on something.

Well, I'm not totally going to bury Cena, but he did have the second worse match on the card at SS. Not only was the finish completely shitastic but the match itself was completely predictable, boring, and stale. If you have seen Orton/Cena once, then you have seen it a hundred times because they can't put on a better match than their previous SS in 2007. Ahh, Cena. You are supposed to be the best today, as many of you like to say in this thread, so why couldn't you have a better match at SS with Orton?

I'll give you that this match was crap... Why was it? Because the thing was overbooked out of it's mind. Why the heck was it that they had 4 restarts i don't know. That's not the same as it's been in the past though.

Your tired of Cena Orton now.... Wait, they haven't done anything for over a year, before the triple threat... Wow man you must get bored quick.

Say what? Between Legacy attacks, tag team matches and triple threats, yea, I am tired of Orton/Cena. You know that HHH/Orton or Cena/Orton is always in the main event on Raw and it is getting stale and boring. So yea, I am tired of it.

Dude, it's been a month with Cena, a month..... Are you really serious. How long did the feuds, between Triple h and dx and the Rock last? That was basically the whole McMahon Helmsely era.... Did anyone complain then? No... Don't say that it's not fresh, because the last time these two feud Orton didn't have legacy. Now he did. Last time Cena had the belt. Also Orton improved a lot from where he was last time these two feuded.... You rethink this....

I'm not going to rethink this. Are you crazy? Just because they haven't fought one on one doesn't mean that their feud hasn't been going on. This feud has been going on every since Orton has been in the title picture(except when Cena go hurt). So yes, I am tired of it. Not just because of Cena though. I am tired of the rotating ME on Raw. Honestly, Raw was better when Cena was on that year long title run, because we got to see alot of new matches at feuds at that point in time, we didn't get the same stale, if you've seen it once, you've seen it before, match style. That is exactly what Orton/Cena is. If you've seen it once, you've seen it 100 times.

Well at one point, wasn't that the same way with Cena's year long title reign. He feuded with Edge which he did most of 2006. He feuded with Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton for most of that year as well. The only newcomers were Umaga and Great Khali. You can blame the draft and people being released for most of why RAW's main event is stale. Don't you fret your pretty little head. Either MVP, Swagger or Miz will be in the main event soon.

Not at all. When he first came to Raw it was He, Christian, and Jericho in a feud. Yes he feuded with Edge alot, but they had different match styles, it wasn't the same over and over. He only had two matches with HBK that I can remember. Also, during that year long run, didn't we see him go up against RVD, Orton(for the first time), Lashley, Umaga, Khali, Edge, HHH, HBK, idk if theres more. That is more feuds that he had in about 18 months than in the past 2 yrs. I actually enjoyed watching Raw at that point in time, even though I can't stand Cena, but at least stuff was fresh.
