Today is the day that this country dies a little.
If our country dies a little from now until the day Obama leaves office, that will be a victory over what the country has done the last 8 years under Bush.
Was Bush the perfect President? No, not even close. But if you're going to bitch about the economy in one breath, don't spend the next breath hating someone because he's pro-business. Is it business that drives the economy or increasing welfare rolls?
Great thinking. And it's JUST that great thinking which has made our economy...piss bucket.
Good fuckin' lord, you don't have to be a genius to look at the economy before Bush came into office and after to see that it has done nothing but turn DOWN.
The media has made their bed with this President, and now, they, along with the ignorant youth and uninformed Hollywood must lie in it.
Are people like you just completely oblivious to the awful state our country is in? The dollar is down 2 to 1 to the Euro, gas prices were out of control, we just had a "financial crisis", we're STILL in Iraq, a country that we could NEVER link to 9/11, spending billions of dollars there, whilst our own economy runs right down the drain. Unemployment is the highest it's been in years, the economy sucks, we're still in a war we should never have been in in the first place, and our current direction of government was so reviled that our President was sporting one of the lowest approval ratings in history.
Seriously, have you been living under a rock for the last 8 years?
Fine until the Democrats took control of congress two years ago. go ook at the Dow before and after. Sorry, I use facts. I know liberals prefer empty rhetoric, but I don't have any.
I'm sorry, did you just say that the economy was fine until Democrats took control?
Our economy went into recession 4 or 5 years ago, and never climbed out. The fact that we DID have Democrats in office is a sign of the piss bucket economy we were sporting in the 2006 elections. Add to that the fact that this latest "financial crisis" was a situation that has been building since around the year 2000, and that makes it clear you are talking completely out of your ass.
No, seriously, cable and internet are in 90% of US households now. 15% of the country lives below the poverty line. Simple math. SOrry to use facts and research, I know you prefer fluffy idealism.
And the top 5% of the country owns more than half the wealth.
What's your point?
The fact is, the reason you support Obama is because you want to blame everyone else for your lot in life.
What is it with the conservatives making stupid fucking statements tonight?
I support Obama, because it's clear that Bush and the Republicans weren't getting it done.
It's someone else's fault that you live in poverty.
It's already been established I'm not in poverty, I'm just reasonable enough to see failure. And the Republicans were failures.
When America wants a mommy, they vote democratic. America wanted someone to wipe their ass for them, to give them everything, and they got it. But as soon as they figure out that they are going to have pay for it, they are going to run back to the right. That's the way it works.
Wait, I thought you said earlier in this post that you don't use empty rhetoric. That's funny because this part of your post is NOTHING but empty rhetoric. Hypocrisy much?
I'm not responding to you any more either. You are incapable of intelligent discussion.
Given the two posts you have made that I just responded to, I'm not sure you really have much room to talk.
Are we even sure Obama is a natural born U.S. citizen? Last I heard he hadn't revealed his actual birth certificate.
Are you kidding me with this?
