I'm not going to the soup line, but watch prices rise, and see how many people are going. I mean, I willing to give him a chance, but from his rhetoric, I don't like the direction he want to go. Plus giving Pelosi the White House and the Senate scares the crap out of me as far as social policy goes.

B) You also apparently don't understand what the term "poor" means. You're trying to tell me those below the poverty line have the internet and cable? That wouldn't exactly make them "poor", now would it?
Funny, I didn't know the media and Hollywood were the only ones allowed to vote in this election. Are you going to blame blacks too? How about hispanics? First time voters? Women? Because all of those groups came out in droves for Obama. I suppose middle-class Americans are to blame as well?

No, seriously, cable and internet are in 90% of US households now. 15% of the country lives below the poverty line. Simple math. SOrry to use facts and research, I know you prefer fluffy idealism.
It's funny how you ignore that I said the youth, which includes first time voters. It's cool. You can dance around facts all you want. You can lie to yourself all you want. The fact is, the reason you support Obama is because you want to blame everyone else for your lot in life. It's someone else's fault that you live in poverty. It's someone else's fault that you can't maintain relationships. It's someone else's fault that you will live in your mother's basement. Face it, history goes like this. When America wants a mommy, they vote democratic. America wanted someone to wipe their ass for them, to give them everything, and they got it. But as soon as they figure out that they are going to have pay for it, they are going to run back to the right. That's the way it works.
The best case, absolute best case, scenario for Obama is that his fake tax cuts (re: welfare checks) offset the way prices are going to raise and no one gets worse off. That is the best case scenario.
You can call me a neo-con like that's a bad thing, and you can call me hopeless. But in this three month long debate that I've been killing you in, you have produced zero facts. All you have done is curse and provide emptier rhetoric than Obama. You sir, are hopeless. You sir, want everything given to you. You sir, are the worst thing to happen to America, ever. You sir, will realize that this Obama/Pelosi/Reid government is going to be the overly permissive mommy state that has driven Europe into it's economic demise. You will see the quality of health care in this country fall.

For everyone that says the Democrats have done nothing since being in control of Congress needs to go back to high school and study government again. They had what, a handful of seats more? Not very effective when 2/3 is needed to really accomplish anything. After tonight you'll get to see a Democratic congress at work.

They still don't have enough seats to be filibuster proof. But, with a majority, the party should be able to do more than pass nonbinding resolution saying nuclear war is bad. All they accomplished was passing a Bush economic stimulus plan, a Bush energy bill, and the Bush bailout plans, which is pretty amazing considering Bush doesn't get to vote in congress.
