Jesus Brian shut the hell up, odds are you wouldn't even have noticed the raise in taxes if you didn't already know about them. This is one of the most historically significant moments in the history of this country and all you can do is complain about taxes?

We are going to tax people in a down economy, taking money out of the market and the marketplace.
We are going to destroy small business, the backbone of the economy. Nobama's plan to tax Americans who claim more than $250,000 in personal income. The problem is, most small business owners claim all business revenue as personal income because the tax rate is lower than capital gains (what the big boys have to claim). Now small business cannot grow, stagnating the economy.
Capital gains taxes will rise as well. It will cost money to pull out of the stock market. No more selling some stock to buy a jet ski, or car, the things that boost the economy. Also, corporation will have to pay higher taxes. Who thinks that they will pay those taxes out of profits? No one, good. You know, as well as I do, that they will do one of three things, raise prices, lay off workers, or both.
Today is the day that this country dies a little. Was Bush the perfect President? No, not even close. But if you're going to bitch about the economy in one breath, don't spend the next breath hating someone because he's pro-business. Is it business that drives the economy or increasing welfare rolls?
We spent the last half of the last century fighting socialism, only to turn to a socialist full of empty rhetoric when the country gets close to crisis. Our POOR have the internet, cable TV, and food. The rich in some countries don't have that, and yet, we need change?
The media has made their bed with this President, and now, they, along with the ignorant youth and uninformed Hollywood must lie in it.

As a political move it was a good idea. But there was a chance if mccain got voted in she would end taking over if something happend. I would not want to trust this country to a hockey mom who was governor of alaska for less then 2 years.
