The [OFFICIAL] Crock Spews Shit Thread

So my next two or so days are gonna be miserable. I just got to work at 10 and I'll be here until 7a. I won't be going home as I gotta be back in at 1 for a refresher course on diabetic training, so I'll be sleeping here for a few hours. Then that course will take me into my 5p-7a shift Wednesday into Thursday. All of this just to get a fucking Saturday off. I might just work the fucking Saturday since I seem to always be here the past week or so.

Theo! I'm sorry to hear that, buddy, but I'm up at all odd hours of the night, so feel free to pop in here and chat.

Also, the amount of people on this forum who have absolutely NO recognition of sarcasm astounds me.

I'll be roaming the boards for most of my shift. And yes many of our posters need to get their sarcasm meter checked out.

Sweetness.

What did you think of McNabb this week?

He played a hell of a lot better. Still missed on some throws, but I expect that seeing as he is still getting some kind of chemistry with our guys. We should be 2-0 right now, but we can't close worth a shit hence the 0-2 record. You're a Packers fan right? I'd kill for a QB half as talented as Rodgers haha.

Life long Packers fan. Gotta love Rodgers.

I thought he looked better. Hell, he's still a good QB, better than Jackson. Once he gets some kind of a rhythm going, he'll amp up the consistency. Your run game is good enough to take some pressure off of him, so he'll probably have some success off the PA passes. I think it's just a matter of time and if it comes down to it, Ponder's waiting.

Kid is a gamer, that's for sure. Even I dig the kid despite the fact he plays for the cheese. I expect Ponder could see some playing time this season if we continue losing early on. Not that it would be McNabb's fault, but sometimes something like a QB change is the spark a team needs. Peterson wasn't pleased during his press conference so hopefully he goes off against the Lions and helps McNabb get into some sort of rhythm.

Personally, I think you guys are going 0-3, unless McNabb shows up. Peterson is always going to perform at a high level, but McNabb will get eaten alive by the Lions D-Line. If he can get the PA passes going, like I said, he'll make it easier on himself. Not only is your O-Line poor, but McNabb isn't as mobile as he once was. If he stays in the pocket for too long, he'll get killed. Simple as that.

That said, this is a winnable match-up if the Vikings utilize their speed at receiver. If they can blow through the secondary on screens or deep routes, that'll force the Lions to play more conservatively. That all really hinges on the D-Line not fucking McNabb in the ass, though.

Yeah I think it'll be much closer than many think it will be. The Lions and Vikes always have close games (much like the NFC North as a whole). McNabb actually moved rather well against the Bucs and looked as mobile as his days in Philly. However the Bucs defense is now where near the level of the Lions front 7. I do expect a lot of pressure and I believe Musgrave knows this and we'll run a lot of screens, slants, and whatever quick routes he can come up with. Dink and dunk is our best option after Peterson of course. I do believe we will come up on the losing end, something like 27-21.

It's a real shame about the Vikings though. I may be a Packer fan, but I hate seeing Adrian Peterson on a losing team.

Kevin Williams is back. That'll be nice.

It'll be nice to see Big Kev back. The run defense was still damn good and having him back will only improve it. Now if we can just fix our secondary. Winfield is the only consistent player back there. Abdullah is alright and I trust him more than the rest of the crew. I'd imagine Cook will be given the burden of covering Megatron on Sunday due to his size. He did alright last year against him, but Calvin is just on straight beast mode this season.

There's a thread in the WWE section that claims Punk is the number two guy, not Orton. It's basically a battle between smart people and fucking morons. I've yet to see a single compelling argument for why Punk is more important than Orton.

I love Punk, but I think it is pretty clear Orton is the number two. Unless Orton goes on a tailspin and Punk just runs rampant through the Raw roster then Punk may be the number two. Until that happens it is clearly Orton's spot.

If that happens, I'll change my name to CM Punk's lucky green testicle.

People who are over enthusiastic about Punk make me want to hate him, which would be a shame because I do enjoy him quite a bit.

Yeah I can see that. Pretty much the reason I stay out of the section at times because usually Punk marks just think he should be the champion of everything. Don't get me wrong, Punk is fucking great, but he ain't Hulk Hogan nor will he ever be. He sort of reminds me of the Edge/Jericho type of star. He is a guy that the E can rely on no matter what, but he will never be the guy. It wouldn't surprise me to see Punk fall back and forth between the upper midcard and main event for the next couple years.

Theo, your ability to not overreact to an impressive, albeit trying rise to stardom fills my soul with joy.

Then again, if Punk doesn't become WWE World Heavyweight Intercontinental USA Tag Team Champion of the World... who will?

Orton's on the B-show. Punk's the center of the A-show. I'm compelled by that argument.

Hugh Jackman broke Dolph Ziggler's jaw. Zack Ryder is friends with Hugh Jackman based on what we saw on Raw. Dolph Ziggler pinned Randy Orton several motnhs ago in a gauntlet match. Ryder>Orton.

Why does Mark Madden keep insisting that TNA hire Jim Ross? Does he not realize how unrealistic that is... Honestly?

It's Mark Madden, lower your expectations whenever you're about to read an article of his. The only good editorials on WZ are IC's and Josh Isenberg's Title This, even though, I much prefer KB's wrestling reviews, but whatevs.
