Normally, I don't engage in "I told you so" posts. I normally don't enjoy being right this much, because I'm pretty used to it. I'm making an exception today. This is sweeter than honey to me.
Gelgarin, just for the record, a portion of my laughter is reserved for you, trying your hardest to be Mr. Big Swinging Forum Dick. Just because someone's using big words, doesn't mean they're trying to confuse you.![]()
I really hope people see why I find this so funny. I'm content to laugh and have people pissed at me for it, but I would like you to at least understand the why of my laughter.
No, this isn't me dropping out of the race. But for those of you who have been paying attention, it's all too apparent that Dagger is going to win the election and become your next moderator. The ABC has herded cattle much better than anyone here and that will turn into a monumental benefit for Dagger come election time. Crock can't move people like that and I care far less than Dagger does. Say what you will, but the man has passion. So I feel it appropriate to extend an early congrats to Dagger. Good race. You earned it.
I'm sure your name will look good in bold, as the kids like to say to the newly bolded.
Have you watched anything besides the first month of an election? I'm sure some Jew called Moses a ********er while they were trying to figure out who was going to standup to Pharaoh. It's strange seeing people say that Dagger's campaigning. In politics, campaigning implies that ideas are being put forward.

Discussing the issues is what you do in the very first part of a campaign. You announce what your platform is, and what you'll do. In America, we drag elections out way the fuck longer than they should go, so after the initial ideas are discussed, all that's left is explaining to people why your opponent is a boogerhead. What in the blue hell are you talking about?
Afraid not. It takes a little bit more than one guy I've never talked to, who I have fuck all reason to care about expressing his disapproval to get me to change my behaviors, seeing as they've been working pretty well for me up to this point in my life.Darn I thought you had gone for a minute there
Something good DID come out of this whole process!!!!! This cynical revelation in one poster validates this whole process.I think amazing things can be learned from this.
From now on, I'm kinda sure every election in every place is fixed.
You have to have ten posts to vote.
And all 4 of his posts refer to a 50 man rumble, after just joining today. Drive by spammer, most likely.

Why is it fishy? Anyone can come her and vote. If everytime I clicked new posts and this thread was at the top, I'd surely click on it.
When I was a new user, I never needed to use the New Posts button.

But to say "fixed" is a stretch. The rules were here for everyone to read at the beginning. Buying votes is the first thing I'd do in an election if I wanted to win, provided I wouldn't go to jail for it. A fixed election would imply that the winner was predetermined in advance.
