Normally, I don't engage in "I told you so" posts. I normally don't enjoy being right this much, because I'm pretty used to it. I'm making an exception today. This is sweeter than honey to me.
Gelgarin, just for the record, a portion of my laughter is reserved for you, trying your hardest to be Mr. Big Swinging Forum Dick. Just because someone's using big words, doesn't mean they're trying to confuse you.
I really hope people see why I find this so funny. I'm content to laugh and have people pissed at me for it, but I would like you to at least understand the why of my laughter.

Although I was never certain that Dagger would go as far as PMing for votes the only part of Coco's post that I don't agree with is the idea that Dagger cares more. Coco was right.
Have you watched anything besides the first month of an election? I'm sure some Jew called Moses a ********er while they were trying to figure out who was going to standup to Pharaoh.

Discussing the issues is what you do in the very first part of a campaign. You announce what your platform is, and what you'll do. In America, we drag elections out way the fuck longer than they should go, so after the initial ideas are discussed, all that's left is explaining to people why your opponent is a boogerhead.

Afraid not. It takes a little bit more than one guy I've never talked to, who I have fuck all reason to care about expressing his disapproval to get me to change my behaviors, seeing as they've been working pretty well for me up to this point in my life.
Alternately, come up with better attack and comeback lines, your material isn't exactly the kind of stuff that makes people fumble around awkwardly for words they can't find.
Something good DID come out of this whole process!!!!! This cynical revelation in one poster validates this whole process.
But to say "fixed" is a stretch. The rules were here for everyone to read at the beginning. Buying votes is the first thing I'd do in an election if I wanted to win, provided I wouldn't go to jail for it. A fixed election would imply that the winner was predetermined in advance.
Good to know. Maybe I'm just grasping at straws here. I still cannot believe it, though.

Turns out I love Coco. Intimately. I don't hate Dagger, and we have had a pretty good, friendly relationship on the forums. He's genuinely a nice guy. Long-story-short, after all the "hate threads", debates, and getting to take a lot of time to know all of the candidates, I honestly think Coco will do a great job. I don't think his trolling about not ever having to do anything is sincere, because I think he gets off on messing with Sly. It's kind of like the "who has the bigger trolling dick" competition between these two. He might be an ass sometimes, but he's also hilarious. Most importantly, by personality alone (not to mention experience and quality of spam posting) he fits in with the mod team like a glove.

Dagger did that. He was roundly criticised, on account of his ideas being stupid.
Yeah, Dagger hasn't done that. In the past few weeks, he hasn't put forward idea, he hasn't criticised his opponents and he's barely defended himself. He's kept his head down and messaged lots of lesser known members, promising them rep for votes.

I didn't mean this one is fixed, but I meant for example in a presidential election, they're never gonna let DD of politics get elected, so they whether fix it or try their hardest to not let it happen.
