The Doctor's Office

It's going pretty well, Zero. Downloaded the first fifty or so episodes of Rockman.EXE and I might spend tomorrow watching them. Right now I'm finishing up my WZCW RP and afterwards I may go play some AAI.

How are you?

Alright, I guess. The only notable thing that's happened today is that I've come to a conclusion that I should've discovered sooner.

My brother has no taste in video games.

Haha. Explain.

Well, here's just one example:

He hates No More Heroes.

Now, that alone would be enough to call him an idiot for the rest of eternity, but there's more. Here's his reasoning as to why he doesn't like it.

"You're just doing the same thing over and over."

That speaks for itself, really.

Oh, there's more. He hates Super Mario 64 because he hates the camera, he actually liked the TNA video game and purposely searched for it and bought it, and he refuses to play any older games due to how they look.

Also, I heard they're putting the Ace Attorney games up for download on WiiWare. I'll finally be able to play those games.

Wow. Your brother is a moron.

Definitely search them out; they're a ton of fun. Love 'em.

...And I've hit another block. I wish Blade was on MSN so I could ask him directly about his character. I have a feeling it's different from what his roster page says.

Time to reread his RPs and decide for myself.

OK, everyone, I'm going to bed. However, tomorrow I'm going to eat some donuts. I only want two, as I'm trying not to overeat. One of them will be filled with custard and covered in chocolate. However, the second one is unknown.

Tell me, which should I choose:
Plain glaze
Another custard-filled chocolate covered
Sprinkles
Other filled (If they have it)
Chocolate cake

The fate of the world depends on a decision being reached!

Watched L: Change the World, Doc

It was tolerable but not great. Too many stereotypically silly Japanese movie themes, like a character complaining about having to be a decoy.

The first ten minutes had me really looking forward to it as it seems like the whole movie is going to be set during Death Note 1+2 but then disappointingly swerves away from it.

L's character is as good as ever but without Light he has no real competition and no real mystery to unravel. Also, all of a sudden the masses of police/FBI that were there to help him in the first two movies are no longer there despite a threat that is even worse.

Still worth a watch but do not be expecting anything approaching the first two films

Yeah...I'm not that interested in it to be honest, and now that I've heard from both you and JMT that it's nowhere near as good as Death Note 1 and 2 (And JMT even says it's bad) I won't go out of my way to see it. If I stumble upon a copy somewhere I may give it a shot or a rent.

You should.

Also it feels awesome that I've introduced so many people to them and they liked them. Now you must spread the word yourself ;)

I hope X watches and likes them.

Got the special edition 4 disc set for £12.

I would spread its virtues amongst my friends but they are the worst kind of movie philistines. One will only watch gangster movies and the other only buys mainstream movies that are in the charts at Tesco.

Neither will watch a film with subtitles...

Losers

Wow. Fail. Sure you can't make them watch the dub at least? The dub on the first movie is actually pretty good; not sure about the second though.

I'm gonna go subscribe to an internet service today. I'll download what you gave me but I'll also start to watch other stuff. Death Note and Kiddy Grade are on my list as well as Naruto and Hellsing Ultimate.

Sure you can't make them watch the dub at least?

Not a fan of dubs myself and I know for a fact that neither of my mates will want to watch dubs or subtitles...

Masterpieces like Oldboy, Stalingrad and Death Note will sadly pass them by...

If you are still looking for new names, Doc, I would suggest a DN theme

Doc Note, Doc Light or Kira Doc spring to mind

Doc Light would be good sometime in the future. It has the added benefit of being both a DN ref and a MegaMan reference.

Sidenote: I have no idea why I find this so funny.

Only kind of. I'll still fill some requests people post in the request forum depending on if I feel inspired. Like Remix's sig, that was something new and interesting.
I just feel I need to get better.

Also, the Impossible Quiz is a lot of fun, and it's ridiculously hard.

X! My man I see you viewing this thread. Go to Last.FM and look up Beatdrop. He does heavy industrial techno.

You can download a load of his albums for free. I listened to Revolution over and over yesterday and I'm about to get started on his others.
