Well it looks like I'm going to Matsuricon on Sunday, and she's going to give me a ride.

Why wait for "if it goes well"? If you dig her, and she hasn't run away from you, you should just ask out (or make a move). The worst that'll happen is that she'll say no, and at least then you'll know you're in the friend zone and can stop worrying about it.
I know this is harder advice to take than it is to give, but in the long run you'll find that taking your sweet ass time with these kind of things can be more harm than good.

We're still hammering out plans, she wants to go for one day and while she could great deals from vendors on Sunday, there are cool panels on Saturday. If she picks Saturday I wouldn't be able to go because work, unless she picks me up afterwards.

I'm really, really excited about the tourney and I'm glad that some people are interested in it already. I'm really hoping it goes well. I'm having a hard time picking who I should support since there are so many awesome characters in it. I'll probably just vote round-by-round.

Outside of Alucard I have no idea who the hell any of the anime guys are. I know I'll be voting against the DBZ guy no matter who he faces just out of shear disdain for DBZ. If Batman wins, I'll be highly annoyed. Love Batman but no way he should win every fight.
The other guys are Vash The Stampede from Trigun (Check it out, it's on Netflix streaming and is one of my favorite series' EVER) and Light Yagami from Death Note, who can kill someone by writing their name in a notebook. That's also a great series and available on Netflix instant, though I think the two live action movies condense the story better and the manga is the best.
Alucard could totally destroy Goku...but that assumes he'll even get out of the first round. One of my favorite first round matches involves Alucard and a certain other someone that could realistically defeat him...

Fucking 3D bullshit, I really wish this whole stupid 3D phase Hollywood is going through right now would just go the fuck away. I want to see Fright Night in the theater, but I hate hate haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate the 3D horse shit, & the only 2D showing of it is way early in the morning. which in itself is stupid since the movie is called Fright NIGHT, not Fright Morning. Doc you work in a movie theater, use you stroke in the movie business to do something about this.

You do know that Dr. Who himself (David Tennet) is in Fright Night right? I here he's awesome in the movie, really funny.
Also sas a big cardboard cutout thing for Lion King 3... or so I thought, went to look up a trailer for it, turns out it's just Lion King 3D.... they're re-releasing Lion King in 3 fucking D...WTF man, is nothing sacred anymore?

Fright Night looks surprisingly good actually.
Yeah, the Rotten Tomatoes reviews say that it's actually funny and has some really good actors in it. I want to see it anyway, I'm just saying I can kill two birds with one stone here.

I watched 30 Days of Night: Dark Days last night, that was pretty good for straight to DVD, once I finish with Planet Hulk, & House of M, I might look into picking up a few of the 30 Days of Night tpbs.

I have Sin City on the top of my Netflix queue. Marv is really the only guy in the tourney I don't know much about so I'm doing some research, plus I've wanted to see it ever since I saw 300.
