The Doctor's Office

I own the 50 greatest Superstars DVD. If you ignore the rankings of the people, it's actually an AWESOME DVD. It gives a little 5 minute or so Documentary on all 50 of the people. Only problem was the bias numbering, but that's expected.

This is about right. Angle surprised me being on there. Batista is ranked very low which surprised me also.

So I just finished playing the WWE All Stars demo for a while. I played as both Ultimate Warrior and Rey Mysterio (the only 2 characters for the Demo), and I played in the All Stars arena (only playable arena, which is a custom for the game). Here are my thoughts.

1. The game is fun. As can be seen by the art style and the videos, it's not a sim, it's about fun. It's so over the top it's insane. EASILY the most over the top wrestling game in In Your House for PS1 (which was the sequel to Wrestlemania The Arcade Game).
2. The characters look AWESOME. VERY slick in High Def
3. Fink doing the entrancs is awesome, as is JR/King doing the commentary.
4. It's RIDICULOUSLY fast paced action. It took me a while to figure out how to do all the different moves for each guy, and I still haven't figured it all out yet.
5. the controls are very good. Easy to do everything, once you learn what each button does (X/Square is weak strike, Y/Triangle is strong strike, A/X is weak grapple, B/Circle is strong grapple, Right Stick modifies grapples mid move.

Basically, what I'm saying, is that this game is damn awesome. I can't wait to play as the full roster.

I would say this is a fairly accurate statement

it's a good game, but after three playthroughs I beat Rey without even losing half of my green bar. A bit too easy to kick ass IMO

Yeah, I played it a bit myself, since it was released on PS3. I'm going to have to try it out with the full roster before making my judgment. It was fun, really fun, and the over the top style was great. The controls were a bit tough to get used to, but once I got them down the combo system was a blast.

The only thing is, I'm just not compelled to buy it - yet. I may, I may not. I know my friend Alex is going to rent it so we'll probably play it together a few times.

I'm going to try and watch the 50 Greatest superstars documentary now.

Give it a month or so and it'll be pretty cheap.

All WWE games are like that.

Yep, it's what I'll do.

So Netflix is down. I decided to watch some classic 80's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I have it on DVD. It's great, so cheesy and fun. I used to watch it with my brother on old videocassettes back in the day...

I would really love to see Cole slip into a Heenan type guy after WM, just mangeing a bunch of heels, maybe he an Vickie could form a "Management agency" filled with guys like Miz, Swagger, Dolph, etc.

I mentioned that recently. He has the ability to be both a commentator and another non-wrestling personality. The Cole-Mine has only fueled speculation of this.

This is exactly what I want.

Jealousssss. At least you got him on the phone, I'm still thankful for that.

now I'm watching the top 50 Superstars Of All Time.

I don't know. If there's enough demand, maybe later today.

Oh sure when I'm a work I suppose, oh well today is a good day, it's FUCKING NEW BOOK DAY!!!!, the day I go a blow a shit load of money on new comic books, it's almost like a weekly Christmas for me... except for the fact that I have to pay for all the cool shit I want instead of just having it given to me, but whatever NEW BOOK DAY YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!

Well Doc I would show up! Maybe if you advertised it earlier like you did yesterday and put up a set time more people would show up?

You know all those WWE DVDs netflix took of instant yesterday, well they put them back on instatn this morning....#MakesNoSense:shrug:

LOL, I think we should change the name of the comics thread to the "Justin Babble's About Comics" thread, I think I have something like 40% of the posts in that thread:lmao:

Well you did make the thread and do have the second most posts in there, just as long as my name is first, since ya know I have more than twice as many posts in that thread as you (13-6):p
