I think it was a preemptive thing. He was getting ganged up on for saying that the collective intelligence of the forums goes down in the Cage. And he was right. People just kept misquoting him.

Based on the posters I've seen, Armbar is going to win ROTY. Just like Jason Cannon is going to win NXT.

He was right at first. For about the first week, it was really bad. But, now its become a second bar room.

I know Armbar's going to win it. And that makes it boring as shit. Last year, no one knew who was going to win since there were a load of great candidates. This year it's like "Oh, Armbar is going to win. Are there any other good rookies, even?"
