The Doctor's Office

I'll look forward to it, not expecting to be anything good, just trying it out, if it works, I might do more to it, seeing as I have like 3 weeks remaining until I actually have to return to work (school equals less time for things I want to do) so I could definitely do more of it when I'm done with this.

I have to go back and edit that first tutorial. I have no idea what I was talking about with that white background shit. Just go to psd-dreams.de and get your images there.

As for the blended background, make sure that with each different color brushstroke you use, make a new layer. That way you can change the opacity to make certain colors stick out more.

Yep it's what I went to PSD-Dreams.de :)

I got a pretty decent looking background if I may say so myself, complete yellow background with some camouflage like black strokes on top of it.

Right now I'm just struggling with it seeming a little empty at one specific place, and I don't exactly see how I could make much room for a second image without squeezing the images.

Doc. I think theres a problem in the DAG section. That thread that Kayoh started with his Alex Riley is listing me as the thread starter and the posts are all out of order.

Yes I'm using the scale tool, I made him slightly smaller than the regular size, I could of course make the sig larger, I went with a 350 x 392, I believe 400 x 400 would be allowed?

Or 350 x 450?

I know, TPP. I tried to merge Kayoh's spam post with the original and it got all fucked up. :( I think I may know how to fix it though.

MotherF... I found a way to resize the image, but it resizes both height and width now, so I can't make it 410 X 390, it wants it to be 410 x 452.

I know, it's not squished, it's original size, but due to the fact that I have a huge ass spot that's pretty much clean of anything but background, that wouldn't be a good one, so I figured I would have a smaller image, or something else put into the little area, but it would seem too messy and pushed together.

So if I enlarge it, it wouldn't look as pushed together, but the fucking software keeps scaling it too large for our sig rules, or going back to the original.

Indeed I do, I'm only using GIMP cause a classmate of mine said he considered it decent, so seeing as I either had to yes, pirate (something I don't do, or do much of) or purchase Photoshop, I might as well try out GIMP.

Is it okay if I throw some images in here for the picture? got 2 variations of Wade Barrett sigs.

Can only really say I'm satisfied with the background, just dyed the whole thing yellow, and then I changed the Brush from the normal (huge scaled) circle to a medium scaled Sand Dunes brush, and started rubbing it across the place, then I added Wade in, added the Wade Barrett title, the extra text and then a black border.

Edit: weren't too sure what text really fitted better so that's all there's changed in the two of them.

The background is pretty good. But like you said before, theres a lot of dead space to the left of him. I recommend using another picture in the background at a lower opacity or working with a smaller canvas. Just because you can make it big doesnt mean that you should.

One very minor problem is that you can see the bottom of the render. You might want to make him bigger or lower it just a little.

Yeah as I mentioned I tried to find a way to add another picture, but due to the problems dealing with size of the image as a whole, I couldn't find a way to add a picture that I felt looked good.

Besides all the pictures of Wade on PSD-Dreams is in sizes that are either larger than the actual image, or as large as the current picture I put in there, and as Doc said, squashing is baaad.

I didn't notice that, I tried to move him around for a moment, must've misplaced him a little bit.

Theres a difference between squishing and resizing. Squishing is when you make and image smaller without keeping the proportions. If you hold control when you grab the corner when resizing, it prevents squishing. That way he doesnt look squished, only smaller.

I want to play it SO BAD :(

You can play as Legends version Mega Man!!! And Frank West!! And VIEWTIFUL JOE!!!!!

For a Capcom fanboy like myself, it is a fangasm in disc form.

Also, MelodicLullaby for ROTY. ;)

Yeah, I try not to show my fanboyism for a lot of the things I like, but Capcom games not named Final Fantasy make me cum.

And :( In one fell swoop she knocked me out of the running I guess.
