Vin Diesel will be voicing Groot in GOTG, Groot is basically a tree and doesn't say much, so it sounds like the perfect role for Vin.

For a character who only says three words all the time, it baffles me why they'd hire a big Hollywood name over just a voice actor. Saying that, Michael Clarke Duncan made a good Groot in that Ultimate Spider-Man episode.

I'm not much of a comic guy but a friend of mine told me about Rocket Raccoon and I think he looks pretty cool so I'll be checking out the movie.

Does anyone read Pretentious Record Store Guy?
I looked into it last night after the friend I mentioned above was talking about it. Seems like an interesting concept. I read a little bit of it on a site where you could preview some panels.
Is it worth buying?

Bendis' current run is also a good jumping on point, it's only 8 issues in so you won't have a lot of catching up to do.

Started reading Ultimate Comics Spiderman today, I don't know a lot about that universe but I'm all for killing Garfield off in the third ASM and bringing Miles Morales into the fold as the main character. That would be sick.

Ryan Reynolds should never be hired for another comic book movie ever. My guess is Lobo, they can find another one for Stewart, plus Lobo is just the kind of over the top action character to sucker in the exact audience Rock can appeal to.
