The BattleZone Tournament is Back!

It is my intention to ensure that all DBZ characters in this tournament get fair and accurate representation. I've been reading through the past tournaments and how some of those losses accured to the DBZ characters is mind boggling.

EDIT: Really just how Goku lost to Kirby is mind boggling.

It wasn't. I have a much better feel of Kirby's feats now than I did back then, and the guy is a beast. Realistically he should be too powerful for this tournament. Goku is for sure, now that he has SSJG and SSJGB in his back pocket. But his then SSJ3 wouldn't have been enough to take Kirby down.

Kirby fought and defeated Dark Nebula, a being powerful enough to wipe all the stars and planets from a galaxy with one attack. Kirby later tanked said attack. Kirby's causal punches were shown wrecking planets in one game. He is shown to be consistently as powerful as other stellar level fighters in his own verse. With the warp star Kirby has speed comparable to the Silver Silver. Much faster than SSJ3 Goku. There are good reasons why Death Battle considered Kirby to be stronger than any of the Buu's.

And then you factor in his in house hax abilities like teleportation, regeneration, attack redirection, and intangibility it solidly cements him as the superior fighter without even having to factor in his inhale/copy ability.

SSJG Goku would defeat Kirby, but he's too much for SSJ3 Goku.

How can anything be faster than the ability to move instantly? Also, Kirby might be able to travel fast on his warp star but he isn't omnidirectional fast in combat like Goku.

Take SSJ4 Goku using all of his energy in an energy blast, instantaneous movement behind Kirby and it's ball game.

Goku doesn't have instantaneous movement. He has instant transmission. He has to mentally lock onto a power source for it to work. And it's never been a technique that he could just spam whenever he felt like it.

Instantaneous Movement is the original name of the technique or haven't you read the manga and watched the Japanese version of the anime? Instant Transmission is the name Funimation gave the technique. Also, it's not lightspeed like the dub said. It's literally instant movement. Also, Goku has spammed the move before against Cell, against Meta Cooler, and against Beerus.

I suggest you brush up on your DBZ and don't presume to tell me what Goku can and can't do.
