Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version.

i mentioned in the Wrestling Fans United party thread that I am backing Killjoy and The Rattlesnake's idea of a HOF thread for matches. If that party merges with this party I will back this one as well.
I think the idea of a HOF for wrestling matches in an interesting one. You have to give credit to The Rattlesnake for that one, who happens to belong to The ABC Party. This idea was also endorsed by Killjoy and the WFU, who appear to be contemplating merging with the ABC Party. That being said, we'd love to have the support of such a long time Wrestlezone member like yourself, just let us know.

Then the idea has to be fixed to make it practical. If we toss out every potiental idea before we tinker with it, then eventually we're left with nothing.
But I genuinely think these are foolish ideas. If there's any real motivation to discuss or compare particular old school wrestlers or matches, the old school section is always open. But to create this year-round section dedicated to specific HOF inductions borders on the trite lameness of the thread series you see every third newb start up. Motivation to get into passionate wars over this stuff comes about organically in random threads or in the sprint of a tourney or debate league. But really, no matter how much we tweak this idea, it's impossible for me to justify a year-round section for it. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sly shelving the HOF in less than six months.
