Why is it that when a match is slow and unimpressive, and the crowd boos, everyone assumes its because the whole entire crowd just wants high-flying spot after spot?

I enjoy a good mat-based wrestling match as well as a high-flying match, but this match has yet to get me interested in the slightest bit (outside of what they'll do with Hardy).

It has nothing to do with the fact that they aren't doing flying elbow drops and throwing chairs at each other. It has everything to do with all the slow punches and rest holds.

These fans know nothing about storytelling or psychology. Kozlov has been built up as a grappling god. He's playing to that and making the champion, the heavy favorite, adapt to his style. That's a basic story. The champion fights the challenger in a method he's not used to. Simple, effective, and apparently boring.
