Summerslam LD Will Probably Feature a Bunch of Bad "Summerfest" Jokes

Outstanding finish, Nexus can claim Cena got lucky, we finally get that Miz/Danielson feud, Nexus looked very strong, and we can maybe get a proper Barrett/Cena match down the line. This didn't end the angle, it continued it in a big way.

WHere the fuck does nexus go now? Made no sense for them to lose this fucking match.

As much as I'd like to agree with you here (on the grounds of being a Barrett mark) there's plenty of room for the storyline to continue. For a start Cena only just won, secondly there's the whole 'you won the battle but the war is just beginning' thing. And of course Barrett could sell Christ to Bin Laden on the mic. The angle is NOT over yet.

please explain.
Already have.

And this post perfectly captures how I feel about it. Everything about that last match is what saved the show. Nexus will be fine. You people act like losing one big match means you're toast.

Exactly. As if beating fuck out of everyone for 3 months isn't enough, they have to also win a 7 on 7 match, where the other team features 30 World Championships between them.

The idiocy of the IWC never fails.

I personally think the 1 on 1 at the end should have gone just a little bit longer, give Cena v Barrett a bit of a go where Cena gets some revenge man to man

Man, I loved every bit of Summerslam. Who else can't wait to see how they're gonna put D-Bry against Miz? NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS BABY!!!!

That was awesome!!!
Indeed it was.

I've long since accepted that WWE is the company that protects its top faces and sees heels as nothing more than interchangable tools to insert into the mix every month, giving the faces something to do. I've said for weeks now that after the initial shock wore off, I wouldn't be miffed to see Nexus go the same way. It has. Just as CM Punk before it, Randy Orton on many a night, and Jack Swagger earlier this year. But what we got out of this night is what we got out of all those men's major outings. We have fresh meat.

Barrett is still a viable heat magnet and a major prospect.

Gabriel made it deep into the match and gained a lot from that.

Daniel Bryan is a star and a made man.

Skip Sheffield has had his finisher legitimized.

Heath made Bret Hart look like gold.

A lot of men gained a lot of cred from this night while WWE's true spirit was maintained. Nothing wrong with that.

The final match was a rousing success.

The show, overall, was wank.

Honestly, for all those who enjoyed the ending, do you not get tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. Superman Cena is the least original ending out of all the possible ways the match could have ended.

I dunno. I was quite surprised actually. I know that doesn't make it original but-- it's 4 in the morning. Fuck this, bed.

Just like Cena overcoming all the odds and somehow getting the win after he was brutalized for about 7 minutes?

Ok, I've calmed down a bit. The ending made perfect sense. I just wish Cena didn't completely no sell the beating he had just got.
He didn't no sell anything. Hell, after he beat Barrett he laid on Barrett's fucking back for like a minute.

It's like in the movies, where with his last gasp of energy, the good guy manages to crawl to the gun and shoot the bad guy before collapsing with pain and exhaustion.

Cena didn't no-sell anything, he just had his last gasp of energy.

It was an awesome match, right up until Miz interfered and then it went massively downhill. That ending was just horribly disappointing when it was all building up so brilliantly. Instead of a shock we get the same old shit. Last time I was this disappointed in a match ending was HBK Vs Cena at Wrestlemania.

No kidding. He gets his ass kicked the entire match, and they're calling super Cena? Stupid people who don't understand anything.

That is Superman Cena. He gets his ass kicked for the entire match, and then for the last two minutes he acts like nothing has happened to him, and he just came out of the locker room for the match. It has been the same thing for the last 5 years. Would have liked to see something different happen for once. Not mad Team WWE won, just mad about how they won.

IMO this opens the door's for the war/fued to continue and they can have the same 7-7 at survivor series. If Nexus won what would they do? nothing? Now that WWE won Nexus will have to get their revenge. I am perfectly happy with this ending.

Nexus .vs. WWE will continue.

Honestly, for all those who enjoyed the ending, do you not get tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. Superman Cena is the least original ending out of all the possible ways the match could have ended. What is this, 4, 5 years of super Cena, it's old, boring, and stale.

The match was great overall, but the ending just killed my wood.

I think I need to debunk this damn Superman Cena idea. It doesn't exist like half the people here want to believe it does.

Perfectly logical ending. Nexus looked great even with a loss. With a loss, now they have something to do tomorrow. A bunch of rookies beat a bunch of future hall of famers in their primes.

I personally think the 1 on 1 at the end should have gone just a little bit longer, give Cena v Barrett a bit of a go where Cena gets some revenge man to man
If the match would have gone on longer, than Barrett should have won.

That was Cena's last chance to pull out a victory for Team WWE. He had nothing in the tank.

Well, that's the point they're making. He got his ass kicked the whole match and still came back and won.
Read my previous post on the subject.

I can only really sum up how I feel towards Cena the WWE and summerslam with one shot,,,,,,,,,,

John Cena is a hated man amongst the IWC. It doesn't matter what he does. A lot of people will never accept him.

Yes, except that's not what happened at all. Did you even watch the fucking match?

What is it with the idiots that come out of the woodworks when Cena wins? Do you all even watch the match?
