Summerslam LD Will Probably Feature a Bunch of Bad "Summerfest" Jokes

Stale ending to a great match.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend to be some all mighty god of wrestling knowledge, I watch because I'm a fan, not because I want to write a technical review, not because I want to debate mat wrestling; but because I want to be entertained. Seeing the same thing over and over again is not entertaining.

He didn't no sell anything. Hell, after he beat Barrett he laid on Barrett's fucking back for like a minute.

It's like in the movies, where with his last gasp of energy, the good guy manages to crawl to the gun and shoot the bad guy before collapsing with pain and exhaustion.

Cena didn't no-sell anything, he just had his last gasp of energy.

Theres a difference between last gasp of energy and completely getting up and diving on Gabriel like he's perfectly fine. I don't have a problem with the Barrett part though. Cena just caught him.

Nothing. Gabriel took his sweet ass time up on the top rope. Anyone knows if you give people enough time, they will catch a wind. How fucking stupid are you? If Gabriel went up and did it, Nexus wins. He didn't, Cena moved out of the way and capitalized. Barrett got caught. Boo fucking hoo.
They will catch wind? Once again, let's take a look at the chain of events before we call others fucking stupid: 1. Cena gets his ass kicked by Jericho and Edge. 2. Cena gets his ass kicked by the Nexus. 3 Cena continues to get his ass kicked by the Nexus. 4. Cena is dropped on concrete. 5. Cena has magically recovered and is able to move out of the way, get a pin and then force someone who was supposed to be getting pushed to tap. Yes, that is logical and right in order.

You call me fucking stupid? Laughable. See above.
I'm glad you were not too fucking stupid to understand that I was calling you fucking stupid.

The ending was logical and predictable. Is it terrible? No. But it was a complete demonstration of why some people do not like Cena (and I am not in that group).

I can only really sum up how I feel towards Cena the WWE and summerslam with one shot,,,,,,,,,,

Funny, because I believe that also represents the extent of your IQ.

This was a great show, outside of the snorefest that was Kane's match.

It's a testament to the greatness of the WWE that after five years, they can still book a threat in a way that makes you think Cena's met his match.

That was a very good match and angle.

He didn't do that at all. He saw his opportunity and made himself go for the pin. It's not like Cena got up just as soon as Gabriel missed, they both laid on the mat for a few moments before Cena saw his chance.

Some people REALLY need to pay better attention to the STORYTELLING of a match.

The same people that are gonna bitch and cry about Cena pulling it out are the same motherfuckers who would mark out and die whenever Goku made that Miracle Spirit Bomb. You people are morons

Honestly, for all those who enjoyed the ending, do you not get tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. Superman Cena is the least original ending out of all the possible ways the match could have ended. What is this, 4, 5 years of super Cena, it's old, boring, and stale.

The match was great overall, but the ending just killed my wood.

Fuck I just got of the arena right now and im on black berry that was amazing live. I'll do a review from a live perspective when I get home. But to your point Nexus had cost Cena the wwe title the last two ppvs so he was gonna one up them eventually. Can't be mad at the ending.

The only problem I have with the Super Cena thing is he naver really looks tired after his matches, he was put through hell in that match yet was smiling in the camera like he took a nice little jog and had a glass of tea. Wouldn't someone that was put through that be a bit more beaten up?

Im sorry to quote this. I remember reading sometime like last week you saying Nexus should win this match. Why change your opinion?
I don't remember him saying that at all...

Great point, and one I hadn't thought of.

Uh, so? The invasion aspect is over now. They looked great in their big chance and got to get a rub from superstars. This worked.
I actually would like the storyline to end tonight and have them go their separate ways. I'm tired of their beat downs and now they won't look as menacing as they did before. Plus the team is carrying some extra baggage
(Young and Otunga).

Have you never seen a UFC fight? Guys get their ass kicked all the time, only to celebrate when they win.

So the answer to your question is no.

But he still jumped up and made it seem to me that he was perfectly fine. If Cena would have just rolled over on top of him then I could understand the storytelling argument.

But I agree with the ending, that is just a minor gripe.

ZOMG, teh "NXTBlood" is like, teh berried.

fuck that shit. We get a Miz/Bryan feud, and Nexus looked STRONG. Plus they still have their "higher purpose". There's tons of life in this storyline.

Fantastic PPV.

Funny quote from elsewhere:

Pretty dumb to blow off a major angle like this 2 months after you started it. They should have at least waited until Survivor Series.

Everyone on the Nexus looked weak except for Sheffield... nobody else got any clean pins on the WWE guys.

Now bed.
