I won't speak for him, but the way I took that was that he recognizes you as better than the troll or spammer or complete idiot, but doesn't recognize you as someone he feels the need to rep. I feel the same way about a lot of people.

There are a lot of people whose posts are tolerable and I read, but I still don't think they're GOOD.

Like I said, he may have meant something else, but that's how I took it.

Thirdly, you reply to this 'attention' with reciprocation and welcome all the revolting praise and suck-ups you get. It's not as if my opinion of you is shaped by what others think and say to you. So don't think that for a second.

Most of your last post discussed the attention I got, in which I don't force people to give it to me. It's nice to be complimented yes, but if people suddenly stopped I wouldn't care.
