Sheamus is the NEW WWE Champion

i dont have a problem with sheamus winning the title, but damn, in two months time. Thats crazy. He debuted on raw in late oct or early november and wins the title the next month. Ludacrous. He went from the "c" show which is ecw to wwe champion. Hell he won the title 3 months quicker than brock lesnar, and we all know lesnar would destroy him one on one. Its crazy, it was a desperation move on wwes part to give sheamus the belt so quickly.

Personally, i saw Sheamus winning the title at TLC. It's something new to shake it up. He might even make a good champion. And honestly, to all those people complaining about him, you complained about cena being champion because he was boring. Well Sheamus is something new so it'll b a while before he gets boring. I hope he has a good run as champion but i dont see him being champ and mania.

No doubt sheamus won the wwe belt waaaaaaaay too quick, but what gets me is how someone is bringing up the triple h pull. Sheamus is 31, what could him and an almost 41 yr old 12 time wwe champion have in common or to talk about. Age is a number but come on. 10 yr gap. Then shawn michaels is almost 45, drew mcdyess oophs mcintyre is only 24. Michaels is old enough to be his daddy literally, so i don't see the connection at all. Sheamus being champion was a wwe desperation move to create somebody else, they just didnt have a long list to choose from like they did say 2002.

Didn't get to watch RAW but when saw it on YouTube seemed like when he came out still doesn't get that great a pop. Even for most of his speech when he would pause for a reaction from the crowd he would not get one.

Just a few minutes ago, Sheamus put Cena through a table to win the WWE Championship.

What are your thoughts on his win, and your predictions to how his reign will go? Why do you feel that way?

Personally, I believe they will think of something next Monday, but hopefully not, he put on a very good match tonight and him and Cena or him and Kofi could work out to a great feud.

I bieleve that he is being pushed too soon. He only did a small stint in ECW and an even shorter one in Raw. They are doing an even worse job than what they did with Lesnar. What will happen when he loses? What will they do with him then?

I've always felt that Sheamus won the title in a way to get Cena over.

Think about it.

Many of the older fans hate Cena. He is either getting boo'd or cheered out of the arena every night he wrestles. So how do you get face that holds the title over with fans that don't think he deserves it? Give it to someone who they will feel deserve it any less. Which is exactly what everyone is fueling.

Also love or hate it this change has really shaken up the world title scene for RAW. No longer are we enduring countless title matches involving Cena, Orton, or HHH which had whose names made the bulk of every WWE World title match for 2009. It's also raised more surprised as far as the title scene goes when everyone was practically assuming Sheamus will lose the title just about every week until it's become inevitable he'll atleast have it til RR. WZ even went as far as to report about his name plate not being on the title
