Just because you hated the thread and you don't like Santino and you know that this thread was extremely popular, you go and change it to not only fail at creating discussion, but also getting satisfaction out of the move. People weren't completely banned from the thread in the first place, and there was some people who tried debating with the Santino fans. So why change the thread title if it isn't going to create more discussion.

There's no real debate going on. This is what makes sense, HBK-aholic has said it stays, Jake has made an appearance and hasn't changed it. I do this now because it gives me something to do.

Thats why we wanted it changed back, because we didn't want Santino to have an official thread. Fair enough about merging the threads, but why change the thread title. As IC pointed out, why change something that is still going strong after 8 months? Santino haters are free to post in this thread, but they will have a tough time debating with us Santino fans.

Because we have quite a large number of members to our fan club that are always ready to defend Santino.

Many new posters don't venture into the Spam Zone until they have been for a few months and therefore most don't see this thread, so you're right there. But we do have some members that are new to the forum. This thread helped established guys like Showtime and 48/7, and that before the name change. It was fine before the name change and didn't needed to be changed or improved.

Yes, and thats the Santino fan a club. Everyone is welcome, but only the selected posters are members who care about this thread. Once again just because you never used this thread, you may think its worthless or pointless or whatever, but many others think the opposite because they LIKE Santino. Wouldn't it be your job as a moderator to keep discussion going all the time, so why change a thread that already had discussion going on a daily basis? Cena thread might not be getting used much right now due to the fact that he's out with his second major injury in a year or so, Triple H thread would be getting used more if people would post in there instead of trying to creat new threads which get closed right away anyways, and with some of the so-called discussion I've seen in this thread it looks like like it belongs in the barroom more than in the wrestling section scratchchin: actuelly that might be the best way to solve all this shit, just move this thread to the barroom and create an official Santino thread in the wrestling section, and everybody's happy)

Wrong, those threads are hardly used and haven't been used regularly for months, even before the injury. Plus, what the hell do you discuss in those official threads, everybody waits for some new poster to say something like "I hate Cena because he only knows 5 movez". At least the Santino Fan Club was about discussing how good WE think he is and not just any old shit. We always talking about Santino in here, so I don't know what the hell your looking at.

One thing I want to make sure is known: I had nothing to do with the name change. I think it was Sly that changed it but I'm honestly not sure. I'm just supporting what a member of the staff chose to do.

As for most of the people not being here, the forums have been dead all weekend. It'll come back around. Trust me. You have a thread this popular you're doing something right. People will come.
