Your fan-a-club nonsense is freakin' stupid. All you do is talk about Santino, let's just put all Santino topics in here. No need to have more than one thread just because 5 people think they are important.
In all honesty, this disappoints me. I consider this flaming to all members of the club. Many of us put so much time and effort into this thread. It's like our little "board room", but its about how GREAT Santino is, not just any old shit about Santino. Is it really hard to delete all other Santino threads? I don't think so.
You may think its stupid, but 30 others disagree. You have totally devalued great posters like Brian Becker, Juggalo and TM by saying this "nonsense is stupid". I take great offence to this move.
We have a whole forum for that. It's called "The Bar Room".
See, in "The Bar Room", you can talk about your many shared interests? Want to discuss the latest New York Times Bestseller? Make a thread. Want to discuss the latest Pulitzer Prize Winner? Make a thread.
Or, if you want to eliminate any possible off-topic conversation, make it in the Chit Chat forum.
So, we can talk about Santino being good or bad...but that doesn't make it a Santino thread?

Which he started months ago. The Official Cena thread was merely a started thread in the Raw section, but since more threads got created, they all just got merged together.
And Cena is three times the worker and 5 times more important than Santino. If Cena threads are going to be merged, and Triple H threads locked and deleted, then so are Santino threads.

Not really. I find that people, in general, bitch about change. Then change happens, they realize they were just being drama queens and then refuse to admit they were ever wrong.

You were worried about the forums being dead, it sounds like you all can do your part to liven up ALL forums on the board by discussing that stuff in various other places.
Once again, merging these threads is HELPING the overall discussion on the forum.

No, it was a thread created by a moderator (who later became admin) to discuss Santino Marella, a wrestling personality on a television show.
Read the first post. It clearly explains it. Now, what I did was made this thread be a non-prejudice thread. Before it was a "Whites Only"....excuse me, "Santino fans only" thread, and I'm making it a thread for all wrestling posters.

And it disappoints me to see so much childish bitching about treating Santino the same way we treat John Cena and Triple H, by giving them one official thread for all related topics to fall under. Furthermore, I consider it disappointing to see so many usually rational human beings stubbornly cling to an online concept that had long past worn its original meaning. Finally, I consider it disappointing that so many people claim to support a wrestler who tries to get people to boo him by cheering for him, which is disrespect at its finest.

No, I'm not devaluing anyone or anything. What I'm saying is that people who bitch about the name and intent of the thread being changed because they are concerned about being part of a "fan club" for a midcard wrestler who you're supposed to hate is freakin' stupid.

Once again, the Santino fans prefer it before but now it is just a normal thread about Santino which could easily be moved to the WWE Section, which is not what this thread was about in the first place. We were having fun with that thread and we were creating discussion on a daily basis about how good WE (not you) think Santino is. So is it an offence to cheer heels and boo faces? Its a free world.
Those other people can debate in the Santino thread which is already is the WWE Section about the IC belt.
Well to make it fair that other person could have made a Bashing Santino thread where Santino haters can discuss that issue. Theres a big difference between 2 and 25. Others weren't forbidden from the thread in the first place, but they didn't go in there for a good reason.
That thread first got me recognized as a poster. It means a lot to me and many others on this forum. Theres other fan clubs, but ours was the most popular. It was even stickied and still is. Wouldn't it be better if you just changed it back to stop the 10 others debating with you? We like Santino and we don't give a fuck if hes a heel. You may not like him or think this thread doesn't effect YOU in any way possible, but this thread was arguably the most used thread in the entire forum. We were getting new members all the time, so why change something that was creating discussion? Many fan club members wont post in this thread again now. So you may think you made the right choice, but you didn't.

There's no real debate going on. This is what makes sense, HBK-aholic has said it stays, Jake has made an appearance and hasn't changed it. I do this now because it gives me something to do.

I changed the name back. This thread, as "The Fan-a-Club," has been the most active thread on the boards during the past 8 month. No need to change a good thing. Most Santino topics go in here anyway, and trying to place EVERY conceivable discussion about 1 wrestler into one thread kills a lot of potentially good conversations.
