He was in the hearts of many. May he finally get healthy.

What was your favorite Santino Marella moment?

Shame he has to retire.

I liked Santino and I thought he was funnier than Eric Young.

The Stone Cold segments were gold. I wish he had also done comedy segments with Mick Foley and The Rock, they would've been just as hilarious.

I never saw his stint in OVW but I've seen clips of his Boris Alexiov gimmick and he looked awesome. Wish they had turned him serious last year and brought that gimmick up to TV.

Here's to Santino:

Invention of Cobra. The brief teaming of Co-bro. Chamber match, of course. Many good things. He had a pretty remarkable career considering his character. He was able to evolve the character multiple times and keep the audience interested for quite a few years.

The almost-wins at the Rumble and the Elimination Chamber were my favorites. The crowd was so behind him, and so was I. Honorable mentions include Santino's Tea Time, The Honk-A-Meter, and APPLE.

That Rumble, damn. Those moments are few and far between. Goosebumps.

This sucks but at least he will still be around for skits & backstage shenanigans.

I have a few moments that come to mind. When he was the last person eliminated in the rumble. When the crowd realized he was still there they errupted. His elimination chamber stuff comes to mind. His mockery of the Corre and when he was eliminated in like half a second in the royal rumble. Only because he started yelling "I wasn't ready". Which to this day still has me dying of laughter. He took a character that many people would fail in and he ran with it. You don't have to like him but I thought he was brilliant.

Gotta second the near wins Doc has. You knew WWE wouldn't do it, but there was just enough doubt to make it a tense moment. SHADDUP YOUR FACE was pretty funny too.

I think he'll probably be around as a road agent or producer.

The guy had some good moments and if there needs to have comedy, he was pretty darn good with it. Never going to forget that debut and some other moments, with Austin, Cena, Sheamus, Honky Tonk... Enjoy retirement and good luck with that MMA BattleArts School or wtv.

I personally didn't care for Santino, he made me laugh a few times, like others him nearly winning the Rumble is very memorable, but overall I'm not phased by him retiring. I do however feel sorry/admire him in a sense. I feel sorry that his career is over but I admire him for becoming a wrestler and still going even after two neck injuries. Other then that, I won't miss him if he becomes an off-screen guy or just fades away into obscurity.

My fav moment is now we won't have to see him tag teaming with Emma again.

As soon as the smoke from the funeral clears, we're all gonna see, and how, he did nothing for years! You let down your people, Santino!

Oh good lord... this thread lmao. God I'm gonna miss santino, one of my favorites was his rap on raw. Cm punk's face was priceless, good memories. He's got an mma gym now I believe

We should all thank me. I'm the first person who pointed towards how great Santino was going to become. It was 2007 but y'all still welcome.
