That's silly. You should use the metric 357.314/357.834 and 3/4ths scale I use. I read some Japanese critics use it, so it's obviously superior to whatever hedonistic and wasteful Western scale we might use.

Speaking of Nic Cage I watched Wild at Heart last night. Not nearly as good as I remembered it being, can't say I'd rank it very high on my list of favorite Lynch films.

Pretty much. He can be a pretty damn good actor when he's actually trying, like in Leaving Las Vegas. I need to see the quasi-remake of Bad Lieutenant Werner Herzog just did with Cage, I imagine his over-the-top acting would lend itself greatly to that flick.

Dafoe always dies well. The special effects for that scene were beyond abysmal though, fairly certain Lynch just purposely wanted that death scene to look like shit. I'm almost certain that heads don't pop off clean like champagne corks when you get shot in the face with a pistol.
