Having watched The World's End for a second time, now seems a fitting time to ignore JGlass and perform my annual (or possibly bi-annual) list retrofitting. Movies will plummet or ascend, stars will fall off like gangrenous limbs or sprout out like, I dunno, Doctor Connors' arm from that piece of shit Spider-Man film. I'm excited.

I lied before - Iron Man Three is the only movie to have
gained a point and climbs into four star territory; where it always belonged if I'm honest with myself. I can't stay mad at Shane Black, or that Drew bloke that actually wrote most of the film.
The Croods, Star Trek Into Darkness and Jack The Giant Slayer quietly drift into the three-starred ranks. They're high three stars though, so they shouldn't feel too bad.
Especially considering every three-starred film from Wreck-It Ralph down has dropped a star. I finally realised that they're all just a bit shit really. Wreck-It Ralph might have had videogame references but I didn't like
anything else in it. The rest don't really deserve comment, unremarkable as they are.
This is the End and Gangster Squad are appallingly bad. One star is generous - I don't know where I summoned two from. Too generous, that's my problem.
And here's the "seen in 2013 but definitely not a 2013 film" list, which Dial M for Murder (in native 3D!) will soon be joining:
