Trailer for Fincher's new movie - beware unintentional hilarity:

"We don't know what it can be, we don't know what it will be - we know that it is cool."

The shit-good-shit-good Fincher sequence is going to be broken with that one.

Just thought, I've bought nothing this week. I don't even know what's new in the charts.

They stopped having tits in it about 3 years ago. Maxim UK did the same and died. Getting ready for the impending ban I suppose. Well, it's not really a ban, just magazines with tits will be classified as porn.

They're going on The List. Not the film either, but my list of people that deserve to die. It's so important it's granted proper noun status.

It's only acceptable to like it because it's done by Fincher. Personally I'd put it in the same category as Brad Pitt films like Meet Joe Black & Legends Of The Fall.

Impressive CG though. I curse the stars that such a breakthrough couldn't have happened on a film that, you know, wasn't shit.

Someone's thoughts on Inception:

The special effects in this movie, 90% of the time we real enough looking to never make me question their authenticity. No other movie has attained that for me. In fact, the entire time I was watching Avatar or similar blockbusters, I couldn't help thinking "all of this is faaaaaakkkkeeee". Never had those moments with this movie.

Acting all the way around was phenomenal, music was intense, cinematography and pacing was awesome as well. Ambiguous and defined in all the right places.

Christopher Nolan is the best modern director.

Folding buildings are for real.

I can't picture Leonardo DiCaprio as anyone but Romeo after having to watch the modern one for English. That was a weird movie too. I haven't see Titanic though.

Weird trying to follow the language properly at least. In the end I actually liked that movie. Besides Claire Danes was pretty good looking in that movie.

You should watch Titanic. I believe every second of it is extremely entertaining. And for an even better Leo movie, watch Catch Me if You Can. Watch it, and I expect an essay for tomorrow.

English people not grasping Old English is irritating. I can forgive a Dane.

Oh I can grasp old English just fine. I'm not perfect on it and I sure as hell would have a problem writing it or speaking it cleanly. But I understand it fairly well. It's just something to adapt to when you're expecting a movie with new English because of the "remake" of it.

Yeah, I agree, Ferb. It was weird the first 15 minutes, but I just got used to it after that. I did like how the guns were called Swords. That made me laugh. And lWo, I would watch it, but my parents wouldn't let me.

Your parents wouldn't let you watch Titanic??

Just watch it anyway, it's what I used to do.

Saw Inception. I wanted to hate it but I just... couldn't. I've lost my edge. Doesn't mean it's as good as everyone's saying though. Arguably it's just the first Matrix rip-off that's matched up with the original at all.

The second half will make you forget the mediocre first, which was so full of boring exposition and car advert effects I thought I was going to nod off.
