RVD will obviously lose

Why in the hell would anyone schedule RVD v. Big Show for the title TONIGHT? We have Cyber Sunday this upcoming weekend and Vinny Mac has yet to announce which belt will be on the line (WWE/ECW/That other show). Obviously, taking one of the titles out of the main event which is billed as the "Champions v. Champions" match would not only result in a lop-sided competition (why would show compete when he has nothing to lose?) but most likely affect the draw/buy rate for the PPV.

Expect RVD to job, but not cleanly (Test interruption w/a Holly save maybe?)

I think it will be December To Dismember when R.V.D. regains the title. I really dont think Big Show will drop the title on free T.V. R.V.D. only lost on T.V. because he was about to get suspended.

That is ridiculous, I just like to complain? No sir. I think complaining about the obvious, pre-scripted outcome of the main event match on my favorite program (which is being turned into the 3rd show) is not only justifiable, but one of the main reasons for this message-board system.

We, I mean ECW fans actually from the Pittsburgh-Philly area who grew up with the company, have been in pain ever since the title was granted to Vince's ideal of a wrestler, the big man, the Big Show. It's ridiculous to finally grant (at least one of) the most talented members of the roster the match we've been waiting for when we know how the match will end--specifically the opposite outcome that I would be hoping for. This, then, ruins the 'surprise' aspect of the entire event. Why would you want to watch it?

Please. No way is RVD going to win this match. They have clearly established who they want the three World Champions in the Triple Threat match at Cyber Sunday to be, and they are not going to change that main event. Might as well skip that match tonight unless we get some good spots from RVD (highly unlikely since this is WWECW and it's on broadcast TV instead of PPV).

That is not true. I read House show results off of gerweck.net. Secoundly you want CM Punk someone who hasnt even establish himself well in WWECW to win the title over RVD who came back and put 100% into his matches since returning. Everyone screws up sometime.

I agree everyone screws up sometimes But! that doesn't mean RVD should get the title what about other wrestler who put 100% in there macths everyday while RVD was at home wacthing TV runing his comic book store and smoking pot.

Why shouldnt he get the title? Hes the most established wrestler in ECW.. He would definatly bring in more ratings and take ECW to a 2 hour time slot, without a doubt.

Dude he smokes weed. Who cares? A lot of wrestlers do worse things.. I can name about 7 wrestlers that have done drugs and been the champions during that time.. Like HBK (vikiting, other muscle relaxers), The Rock (weed), Steve Austin (cocaine), Angle (pain killers).. I can go on..

although i am sure Show will keep his title tonight, i DO seem to remember Vince McMahon saying that WHOEVER may be champion at the time of Cyber Sunday will put his title up in the triple title match...so he left the door open for a switch prior to the PPV

i think they threw Sandman's name in there because they WANT Kane to be his opponent at Cyber Sunday...like if RVD was an option, then more than likely that would truly be the fan's choice...but you know that Kane will be his opponent, and that will be that

Good deal, I won't argue.

But when is Sandman/Umaga scheduled, Cyber Sunday? I thought Umaga's opponent had yet to be determined?

If he is, this could possibly be a push leading up to December to Dismember (considering his arm is on the poster) where, hopefully, he will get some kind of title shot (BRING BACK THE TV TITLE!) He is the only other original receiving a decent push, and now that he cleaned his act up (i.e. spitting beer instead of chugging it) and has proved to be dependable (unlike Axl or Justin) maybe, just maybe, he will get another shot. I certainly hope so.

Sandman is one of the choices.. I was just saying, if they didnt have plans of RVD winning the title back, they would have put him in the match...

As for Sandman goes.. He is another original getting a push, but Dreamer is getting one as well.. Him and Thorn I believe are starting a fued and they have high hopes for him as well as Dreamer.. So I really wouldnt say he's not getting a push..

But now back to RVD getting the title.. I just read wwe.com and it said "Ecw Title on the Line"... And below "Will Big Show accept RVD"s challenge for the ECW Title".. I doubt he will except it tho.. And if he does.. I bet money it wont be until after Cyber Sunday.. Leading into tonight.. RVD and Holly vs Show and Test.

For some reason, they made the match tonight a ladder match. Show's still going to win, though. They haven't had a world title change hands on TV for storyline reasons in a long time. I know RVD lost the titles on tv this summer, but that was due to his suspension for toking while driving. And it sure as hell isn't going to change tonight after all the advertising for the Champion of Champions match for Cyber Sunday. But if it did, it would be awesome just seeing one thing I didn't expect.. Just one, that's all I want.

If your watching ECW right now then you know it's not a title match, It's a ladder match for a conract to the title match and if RVD wins he gets to pick when and what type of match( kinda like MITB). So RVD will probably win and hopefullly takes his title shot after Cyber Sunday, maybe Survivor Series, or possibly Dec. to Dismember, but thats still a ways off.
