If your watching ECW right now then you know it's not a title match, It's a ladder match for a conract to the title match and if RVD wins he gets to pick when and what type of match( kinda like MITB). So RVD will probably win and hopefullly takes his title shot after Cyber Sunday, maybe Survivor Series, or possibly Dec. to Dismember, but thats still a ways off.

I knew the ladder macth sound famrula(sp) I like it and i see him asking for it at Survivor Series what about you? I still rather see sandman or sabu get a ECW world title shot I still feel RVD has yet to earn it but that me.

I could really go with anyone of those three, as long as it goes to an ECW original, what would really be great is if RVD wins the title back at Survivor Series and then puts it on the line at Dec. to Dismember in a Three way dance against Sandman and Sabu, just imagine the match those three could pull off together.

yeah but by that time Stephanie McMahon will be back and she runs both ECW and smackdown so who know what will happen but yeah I can Imagine the 3 of them going at it

For some reason, they made the match tonight a ladder match. Show's still going to win, though. They haven't had a world title change hands on TV for storyline reasons in a long time. I know RVD lost the titles on tv this summer, but that was due to his suspension for toking while driving. And it sure as hell isn't going to change tonight after all the advertising for the Champion of Champions match for Cyber Sunday. But if it did, it would be awesome just seeing one thing I didn't expect.. Just one, that's all I want.

Well, I'm glad I was wrong on this one. Pretty good match. Ending was kind of sloppy, but I'm glad RVD won. I'm pretty certain the match will take place at December to Dismember. It's ECW's first big PPV, so it's pretty obvious that that's where RVD will get the belt back.

I definately agree. I kinda figured RVD was going to win but they wont change the titles until maybe after Survivor Series. ECW needs a dominant figure heading into the next two PPVs. As much as I like RVD, I just dont think he's a strong enough character to led team ECW into the S.Series.

I disagree, I think if Team ECW consisted of Originals then RVD would be the perfect man to lead them, imagine team ECW: RVD, Sabu, Dreamer, & Sandman, you can't tell me that that's not a good team

Survivor Series is actually fitting, because Survivor Series will be held in the same arena that RVD lost the ECW world title to. How fitting would it be for RVD to win back the ECW title in Philly.

id actually like to see a ecw world title match between rvd and cm punk, then and only then will i tune into the 2006 extreme crappy wrestling. extreme championship wrestling from the days ago period in time can only come back when there is more than one damn title to chase after and some of the originals make returns. that is Extreme Championship Wrestling.
