This scenario I would MTFO for and I think a huge number of the 'WWE Universe' would as well. It comes down the the final two - Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy. It looks like Jericho is going to win when Edge's music hits. Jericho is distracted, Hardy throws him over. Edge doesn't even need to be there but his mere 'presence' alone will lift Matt Hardy to ME status instantly, the same as the real life love triangle in 2005 did for Edge. It would be ironic that Edge 'makes' Matt Hardy, since it was Matt that really 'made' Edge. It would also give more wheels to the Jericho/Edge feud and Matt can go on to Mania and fulfil his destiny defeating whoever is WHC at the time (I'm feeling that it will be Punk but if he is facing Taker who then?) Comments?

I want HBK to win the rumble and have one more title run. Lets be honest there's nobody who is worthy of maineventing than hbk. he so deserves it and to answer his question, whos been buit up, well nobody has. If this is Hbk's last year then I want to see the showstopper in the maine event coz then I will know for sure that I'm gona get a good match.

What's with all this HBK deserving talk and such? Didn't he main event WM 20 and 23? People claim he stole the show at WM 24 and WM 25. He can get a title run anytime he wants to and doesn't need the Royal Rumble to get it.

If Edge returns by then, I can see him winning it because it would be a good comeback like Cena in 2008. If not Edge, Morrison would be a good option because he has improved as of late and we haven't seen his best yet.

I'm going to go with Edge for this Rumble. He's known for making huge returns, and returning to win the Rumble is the biggest way someone can return.
I think WWE might possibly be making his injury sound worse than it actually is, so we'll be expecting him to come back around Wrestlemania. But I really think that he will be coming back in the Rumble at number 30. And we'll have no hints beforehand, either. It'll be a perfectly kept secret, just like Cena's return.
No doubt when Edge comes back he'll be super over as a face and he has a Wrestlemania feud pre-made for him in Chris Jericho.
So if he is in fact well by January, there's no other choice for Royal Rumble winner.

I think it's highly unlikely that Edge will return in time for the Rumble but Edge/Jericho seems set for Wrestlemania, so both of those are out as winners but I expect Edge to win at NWO for the other No 1 contended spot. Raw Rumble winner then? There are only 2 likely options

Cena Vs Batista

Firstly I don't imagine Orton Vs Dibiase will be for the title, if they even wait that long.
Realistically, you've got to go with Cena Vs Batista because why else would they have a match. Personally I'd much prefer Michaels as the champ Vs HHH but I can't see Michaels wanting the belt when the attention needs to be elsewhere. So yeah, Cena as champ Vs Batista as the Rumble winner.

Of course, don't put it past the human ragdoll to make his craptacular return and become the least credible Rumble winner since Rey.

I think it'll be Morrison. He's on the brink of a title push and this would solidify that, while keeping him a way from the title a little longer, it tells us though that he will get his shot that we think he deserves. So I really can see him winning. He's really climbing the ranks and this would help him out a lot I believe.

Rumble is always the best PPV of the year imo. I'm pulling for another Undertaker win where he faces Punk at WM. I'd just LOVE to see that.

I see Edge pulling a Cena and coming back to win,except when he comes back,people will cheer.If not Edge then Morrison,or maybe even Matt Hardy,which would be weird because I was playing Smackdown vs. Raw earlier and he won,but yeah Edge is my first option,then Morrison,then the loyal Hardy.

Edge is my pick. If they make it as easy as this years (if Randy didnt win, he'd be fired), then expect Edge. Morrison will 9 times outta ten win the MITB.
