Round Two: Wesker vs. Snake Plissken

Stage: Lijiang Tower​

Lijiang Tower is the corporate headquarters of Lucheng Interstellar, an extremely successful space exploration company. The tower's grandiosity reflects the success of Lucheng Interstellar and stands taller than any tower nearby and includes beautiful gardens, shopping districts, and a control center for all space operations being run by Lucheng Interstellar. Unfortunately for the people who have gone to Lijiang Tower to work, shop, or relax, they are about to be caught up in a round two fight between Wesker and Snake Plissken. These two men will stop at nothing to win, but which one makes it off of Lijiang Tower?

Wesker injected himself with prototype of the Progenitor Virus which he survived due to being genetically superior to others.


The virus Wesker was injected with greatly increases the metabolism of its host which basically gives them super powers. Wesker has superhuman strength, speed, agility & endurance as well as a healing factor that can rival Wolverine's and heal him from numerous near fatal injuries.

As awesome and as well trained as Snake is he isn't winning a fight against someone who can dodge bullets first off and who will just heal himself when the stray bullet does hit him. This fight goes to the KO or incapacitating your opponent. Well with his enhanced endurance Snake just doesn't have what it takes to even do that to Wesker. Snake for as well trained and awesome as he is can only be called human. The same can not be said for Wesker who by the end of the series can't even be called human

The last thing I would like to mention is Albert Wesker will do whatever it takes to accomplish his goal. He will not care who is in the Tower and will destroy anyone who gets in his way while Snake for all his tough talk and bravado isn't a bad guy and will at least attempt to keep civilian casualties down. Trying to do that while taking down someone like Wesker is no small task


Wesker is superior to Snake in every way and wins this after toying with Snake and bringing the entire tower down.

It has to be Wesker.

He literally moves so fast it looks he is teleporting. He can dodge bullets, is a master martial artist, can catch freaking rockets, has super strength, and as Milenko says, can heal almost instantly. Hell, even lava can't stop him.

Wesker ends Snake and laughs about it afterwards.

Against a lot of others in this tournament I would go for this argument and fight for Snake, his accomplishment was not easy.

However against this guy in this setting I just can't do it. Wesker is everything Snake is x 1,000 as well as a cold hearted bastard which again is something Snake isn't where innocent lives are concerned He would try to save people, Wesker wouldn't give a shit.

What does Metal Gear have to do with anything? This is Snake Plissken, protagonist of Escape From New York and Escape From LA. Yeah, Solid Snake was based on Snake Plissken, as was Naked Snake, but they're totally different characters. Why even bring up Raiden? This post baffles me.

Anyway, Wesker is just too powerful, even for Plissken. I'm with others in that I'd say Snake could escape from most people in this tournament, but Wesker can teleport and has god-like powers that make most competitors tremble in fear. You need AT LEAST a rocket launcher to take him out, and that's something Plissken wouldn't have. I might be wrong, though, so if someone can give me a viable way he'd have a rocket launcher, I'll hear other arguments.

I brought up Raiden because as you said yourself, Solid Snake and others were based on Snake Plissken. Raiden is how far you'd have to go to find even a general connection to him that could beat Wesker. Perhaps I should've explained more thoroughly. I was trying to say that not even characters based off of Plissken (better equipped, better skilled characters) could beat Wesker.
